Do you guys think Mariah and Chris Jenner have been to the same plastic surgeon? They have some similarities in their faces at the moment.

Plausible. And that would explain a lot. There clearly is a major piece of the puzzle missing.

I mean they did try to Britney Spear her. There was a part in her book (page 262) where she talks about Morgan had arranged a "spa" visit but it was actually a hardcore detox and rehab center. They administered her heavy, hard narcotics. Mariah said it made her sluggish, puffy and compliant. I believe this was them inducing mental illness to her. The book "Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties" reveals the MK ultra program, where they can give you mental illness via hard drugs. You'll have no choice but to be dependent on it, then you'll just be drugged to oblivion forever. I also vividly remember Mariah saying, "when I first found out about my diagnosis, I refused to believe it" which she was right. She never had mental illness to begin with. She was purposely driven to exhaustion to be easily irate. Pat knew which buttons to press and knew anyone who hasn't slept in a week will understandably snap. They then used her lashing out as an opportunity to misdiagnose, with the goal of inducing mental illness, to control her with drugs her whole life.
I believe the mafia's desired effects have come into full bloom now. She is undoubtedly heavily depended on it; the dosage probably heightened, I would say right after NYE, when she exposed her BPD and admitted seeking "professional" help and probably even more so now, grieving Pat's death. Taking these meds is obviously a part of her pre-show ritual because she is rather sluggish and puffy. Every concert. I will categorize my assessment to be "allegedly" though, just to be marked safe. It's what I think make sense after recognizing what they've done to other pop stars and doing a deep dive in the history of Hollywood.
I wouldn't say anyone is threatening her necessarily but I will say Mariah is aware of the patterns of their financial terrorism. So many have tried to come for her money. Right now Morgan (which is not to be trusted) is suing the crap out of her over her memoir. I think she is always working hard to afford top-notched lawyers, it really does take money to win cases. There's also a chance Morgan may be backed up again by the mafia. He was already in cahoots with the record company during Mariah's first breakdown and considering how many mainstream publications picked up this case. (People, The NY Times, Daily Mail, Today, Fox News, The Sun, Page Six etc.) A PR firm that's verifiably against Mariah is blasting these articles to the masses. I have read the filings and Morgan is relentless for her money. He is very technical and somehow found a way to forward this case into trial. Mariah will actually have swear under oath pretty soon. That and she's probably preparing to have more than enough sufficient funds for her biopic. Production and talent fees are expensive. It's maybe why she's working herself to the bone.

I came across a video of Mariah and Trey in which they are singing I'll Be There and Mariah forget to lipsynch and seems in a daze. It made me think of Britney Spears and her conservatorship. She was forced to perform at Las Vegas for years against her will. Do you think Mariah could be in the same kind of situation? Maybe she owes lots of money to someone or maybe she's under threat and has no choice. That could explain her strange behavior on stage and interview, why she looks so miserable and the fact she hasn't release anything for years. Could be the only way she found to call for help.

I have high hopes for this collaboration. I wonder if they all actually got in the studio together for this. Doubtful at this point but possible. I wonder how much input Mariah had if any. I expect it to be a full blown classic Barbra ballad. Wow another whole month to wait for this.

Mariah's voice (108,871)

I haven't written on this board lately, been some months. I have been in the top 20 as of messages throughout the last few years. Maybe I wrote a couple of messages at the start of the years, but after that, months.
I am as most of you, devestated about the current condition of our girl, Mariah. She can't sing, she can't move, she can't show an emotion. It's clearly to almost all uf us, Mariah is in a bad state, and I think it's mentally and emotionally. Deep down, we all know that if Mariah gets in a happy place again, her voice will also follow, and we can have a few great moments again.
The thing is, I have more agility and range in my voice than Mariah at the moment, and I'm a 41 years old man who has never tried singing as a career.
I wish Mariah well, and all the help she needs. Let's stay positive now, folks? Love you, Mariah

Edward, that was Mystikal and Master P. Walter A is not singer nor a rapper. Lol. He is only a producer, arranger, and songwriter. Are you still trying to recover from her Aussie interview? One Heart One Voice is just Barbara [sic], Mariah, and Ariana. MC described their collaboration on X as grandoise.

I just watched and I have to say, this is how I see MC. She's not normally this stiff but she has been in the past. And once again, she looks absolutely gorgeous. Isn't that her brand now? Isn't that the purpose? Isn't that what's spotlighted now? Having people say she looks good is the goal. Because there is absolutely nothing else going on for her right now. But to be honest I am shocked at all these alarm bells going off. I watched the interview thinking this is her on a bad day and it's happened before. Where's the fire? You all speak of strokes, medication, grieving and I'm like, she's been like this, off and on, since 2014. But ok.

She is definitely not well by the looks of it. But this isn't new, this decline has been awhile. I would say it's very noticeable after the 2020 Christmas special, which I still watch regularly. She seemed lucid on there, and can still do basic hand and steps choreo. After that, wow the decline is very very obvious. From the way she talks, the way she walks.
It's tough for her, she has no real people around her, she's not been close to her mom and sister who are now gone, the twins are too young to help her make decisions, and Nick is a loser who is thankfully out of her life.
She's now surrounded by people who will take and take. Friends maybe. But friends who will take and take. I do not think this constant touring at this stage of her career and her age, is her decision, which if you think about it, is really scary thought.

Maybe her medication has changed recently because of still needing to cope with Patricia's death, her break-up with Tanaka, and dealing with her vocal decline. This is not the same Mariah Carey from 2018. MC has really been through a lot and she has not taken a break from performing. Creating new music in the studio has always made her happy. Plus, I think doing all of these performances lip syncing is not helping her either. When a singer knows that they used to have great vocal skills and suddenly it is gone, it can start to affect a singer mentally. This has to be how MC is feeling.

I'll admit on first listen, I was a bit concerned that her voice sounds more exhausted than ever, but by time she got to Say Something I had an involuntary smile on my face, because she sound a bit more vibrant and I loved just hearing her pure voice with piano.
I watched again today with my earphones in and enjoyed it even more. Is it up there with MTV Unpugged 92? No, but still enjoyable in a more mellow calm way imo. I think we all already know what's going on with her (for the most part), she's come out about her vocal nodules (which makes her voice inconsistent), she's come out about bipolar disorder, we know she's dealt with distress, depression, trauma, heartbreak, loss, etc. Listen, I get it. It's hard to watch some of her recent performances because she looks just how everyone has described: sedated, barely moving her lips, etc. Honestly I find myself avoiding a lot of the live performances or the comment sections nowadays, because of this. Ultimately I know we all just want her to be respected and revered as the Mariah we all fell in love with. However, we have to give her some grace and credit for giving us an honest performance with the Mimi Sessions, it wasn't overly engineered or dubbed, it was Mariah singing comfortably in her current voice: something she's been criticized for not doing in recent times. We can debate that it wasn't perfect or up to her prime standards, but it was a raw honest look at where she is today vocally. It's normal as fans that deeply love her to get down, maybe even depressed over her not shining as bright as she once did, but her legacy as one of the premier female artists of all time is cemented.
Of course, I'm always hopeful that we'll get one more undeniable era of Mariah at her best, but all I truly care about now is her inner peace and happiness. Praying we get our happy vibrant lively Mariah back.

Is this really the cause of all the debate? Together with the Mimi Sessions? Hey, you all. This is Mariah nowadays. Haven't you noticed? I think some of you are blowing it out of proportion (not directed at anybody specifically, ok?).
However, I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again, I don't think she should be touring this year. Instead, she should just relax and work on the new album if she really wants to release it (and treats us with some performances like the Mimi Sessions just for our entertainment because, even though they are not the best in her career, but she shows real talent and musicality in them).

A deeper look (108,852)

I'm afraid they are in the beginning stages of finally getting to Mariah. The book "Hollywood Babylon" talks about how the mafia would be in cahoots with a celebrity's family, get them to agitate the star to the point of lashing out, to purposely misdiagnose them with a personality disorder and then drug them against their will. Britney's brain is now melted from all the drugs she's been taking since her public breakdown. Kanye West revealed the messages he got from a "fitness" trainer saying, "I have you institutionalized and take you to lala land, visit with your kids just won't be the same." He exposed that they could quite literally give you mental illness via a cocktail of medicine. He was never the same after. And let's not forget how they "accidentally" overdosed MJ with profopols.
And in retrospect, we all should realize that Stella and Lianna were plants. They checked all the marks of the mafia's tactic. Defame, blackmail, extort and tried to bankrupt MC. Then for the final blow, publicly sabotage Mariah (NYE) - this was all orchestrated to break Mariah's spirit. It's kind of like when paparazzi's are taking 1000 photos a second by the celebrities home. It's to intentionally, intimidate, harass and break the star. I believe their end goal with the NYE disaster was to kill Mariah's touring career, to financially terrorize her. Get her to publicly fall apart. And then expose her BPD. She checkmate though. "You know what, it's different times, it's not 2001 anymore, I'll reveal it myself." Then she went to write a whole memoir to cope. She managed to make something good out of the most savage humiliation they've ever done to any popstar.
But this time around I think they got her, Pat's death is eating Mariah alive. I do not want to speculate because I do not have the facts. But I definitely have questions, they both died on August 24, then just a day later, suddenly every major publication had it blasted all over. It's like someone pressed a button and it's for the whole world to know. It's so not like Mariah to make a "statement" a day after a family's demise, it's way too sensitive. She is too private of a person. I do not see Mariah being willing to talk to People's magazine, or to anyone outside her immediate circle, for that matter, a day after her mother's death. The nature of how quickly their deaths were revealed to the public should raise questions. There is obviously something sinister happening in Hollywood. Stars after stars they do these sort of things to. It's such a pattern that cannot be ignored. Kanye has talked about how his mother was sacrificed. That's another tangent though. My prediction is that they're going to try and make her broke, which by the way is a narrative they already started September last year. It really worried me because they did the same thing with MJ before his demise. It was such bizarre timing too because Mariah just announced a random Christmas tour in August, so I was like okay? Because she actually is broke?
Anyway, please keep supporting MC. Buy everything. The only reason why Mariah is able to survive all their financial terrorism is because she works really hard and because of our never ending support. It takes money to win all these random cases they've been throwing and are going to keep throwing at her. Most importantly, I'd like for every lamb to please say a little prayer for our Mariah, and her family. I believe prayers the only thing that's keeping her safe. I know we all collectively feel it. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I do actually agree with Morgan's sentiments now, she needs to watch her immediate circle, especially her team of doctors that are giving her all these drugs.
