(111,886) by Bill from the UK The European leg of that tour, especially London of which I attended, was sensational and needs to be released on audio or DVD, whatever they have. There were tripods set up at London to film sections and take photographs, and Rotterdam was filmed professionally but never released. Japan was literally the worst of all the dates as 1) she lipped a lot of it 2) the upper register was weak and airy and 3) her outfits for Europe were way better. Release it. 3. It's clear that some of the European dates of the Daydream tour were filmed. Release it - even if it's just select performances 4. Where is the acapella release that the other albums got? I want to hear a "sweet acapella" of I Am Free, when I Saw You, and especially the album version of Fantasy. 5. I would like to hear a merger and sequence of Daydream and Ugly Daughter. I want to hear the songs she worked on in the day and then the secret grunge she did at night. (111,866) by Alexis Carrington-Colby from United States As the biggest Daydream-era stan, it is shameful that Mariah gave a half-hearted "happy anniversary Daydream" repost and that's it for the landmark album. Music Box, Merry Christmas, Butterfly, Ones, Rainbow, and Mimi all got deluxe/special releases. Hell, even MIAM, Memoirs, and E=MC2 got Amazon special releases. It's obvious she hates the Emotions album so I'm never surprised when it is paid dust. But Madame Daydream? She is quick to remind people of the hits from the album, she is quick to praise UTS, she is quick to accept the praise for the groundbreaking Fantasy remix, she is quick to tell you she directed 2 videos this era. Here For It All (111,877) by jaker20 from US There is more to those numbers. The album did drop to 187 on Hot 200, but on sales it's still in the top 10. This really goes to show how messed up and useless the charts currently are. It leans way too heavily towards streaming, which doesn't really benefit most artists' pocketbooks. The keyword here is "sell". The charts are obscuring these details with "album equivalent units", because in reality, no one "sells" to profitability anymore in the same level that it used to, and that's a bad look for the industry. So when someone says: "Mariah didn't even sell as much as Doja Cat", that need to correction. Mariah did actually "sell" more than Doja Cat, in the US and certainly globally. The charts just obscures it. Equivalent sales unit will never equal sales, however the industry tries to convince us that it is. And as such, it will always be rigged against legacy artists. I've said it a million times, seven years is way too long for a current artist, and for a legacy artist, it's basically career suicide. The thing is, since "Caution", the only decent thing she's put out is the acoustic version of "Close My Eyes". Everything else, including "Falling in Love at Christmas", has been pretty meh. There is only one explanation to go back to. HFIA didn't have a Top 10 hit on the Billboard 100 at the time of its release. I keep going back to this point. Some random idea (111,840) by T from USA Mariah would never sing a current popular singer's song. She also would never work with JLo. But you got me thinking what she could've done for HFIA. She could've pulled a Michael Jackson and done a double disc called "Herstory" and the first disc could've been an updated greatest hits and the second disc could've been the new album. Call the whole thing "Herstory: Here For It all" and have the album cover a statue of her, like a play on MJ's picture. Then people who would've bought it for the greatest hits would hear all the new songs. At least it would've sold double the amount in the first week and more in the long term. Ed Sheeran's "Play" debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200, then dropped to #40, #83, and fell off completely, and that was with three charting singles beforehand: "Azizam" peaked at #28, "Sapphire" at #74, and "Old Phone" at #89. Katy Perry's "143" debuted at #6, just about 1K above Mariah's numbers, then plunged to #76 before disappearing from the Top 200 altogether. Considering how long it's been since Mariah released a new album, her numbers are actually ok, especially compared to other legacy artists and their recent releases. We really need to cut Mariah some slack. I knew Katy Perry would have to eat her words eventually. She once shaded Mariah by saying, "Mariah would be good for a throwback," implying she was no longer relevant. 2025 (111,858) by Giovanni from USA Thank you for that information jaker20. It seems like 2025 has not been the year for music and it feels dead with so many artists flopping. HFIA is definitely one of the best albums of 2025 in my opinion and I hope Mariah doesn't abandon it just yet. I would like if she performed "Jesus I do" and "Nothing is impossible" at her Christmas shows. I'm not the only one who believes her team is awful and pretty useless. She needs better people especially to help with social media. I also wish Mariah had a better manager. Benny Medina was great but he is currently JLo's manager lol. JLo's music career is pretty much over, her last album sold less than 15,000 copies so Mariah sold more than This Is Me flop. Also her new movie seems to be bombing at the box office so I wonder what's left next for JLo?Mariah is an actual legend and icon, music royalty who still has a lot to offer. I may be selfish but I never want her to stop recording songs.
