I for one am glad he's gone and hope he stays gone. I think everyone on this board forgot why he was banned. I can appreciate people having different takes and different opinions about MC but Andrew's opinions weren't just about Mariah. His very last stunt was being extremely violent towards me and a few others on this board. He resorted to name calling, personally attacking and just making outrageous posts that had no business here. All because he didn't agree with my views. I get some people who know him say that he was going though personal stuff but no amount of stuff going on in your personal life justifies viciously attacking someone on a freaking messageboard. Not only was he a bully, he also never considered that the person he's throwing insults at may have personal things going on themselves but didn't resort to his level of insult hurling. His language had gotten so bad when responding to me the webmaster had to stop posting them. Not only included abusive language he would also constantly demean people for their English, myself included when English isn't our first language. He was petty, a bully and downright abusive and this wasn't the first time he did that to me at least and wouldn't have been the last if he wasn't stopped.

Unpopular opinion but I think I like this one the best hahah. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, I do not like the outfit much because it's not cover worthy, but I comparatively like this one the most as it's the most cover worthy. The first one I already expressed my views, the second was very Celine Dion (no shade to Celine), very dated and I just didn't think she stood out in the album. This one she's front and center and ready to choose violence. Staring right down at her hater. What I would change about it - I think she would have looked absolutely stunning doing the makeup she did for TDang in the Britney like scene with the dancers and probably choose another outfit no diamond necklace. But still the third cover is by far the best in this series.

One more cover reveal, I’m guessing tomorrow the D2C version. And then maybe the Sugar Sweet promo will start. Hoping for a fun video. I know Kehlani has writing credits on it but some people said it’s probably a sample. Because the other main writer just said it’s written by her and Mariah and produced by Harv.

I like black and white too but I can't explain it, there's just something different that comes to mind when it comes to distinction between an album cover and a regular shoot. She had many amazing black and white covers - to name a few - #1's , Fantasy/Daydream, ISB, ABMB, E=MC2. They all were statement photos. The 2 versions we got so far look more like it's for an auto biography or a jewelry/beauty magazine ad. It doesn't have that iconic feeling that she's here to slay. Oh well I hope the songs make up for it.

I kept hearing about this supposed alternate cover but never found it. Thanks for giving the IG handle. It's very hazy so I can't really tell, but yes still looks like a regular photoshoot kinda cover. I was hoping for something fierce, even if not full body then atleast half. Mariah has been looking like her Einstein era I thought she would want to show it off and no one does a power stance like Mariah.

Ok don't hate me please, I don't want to be negative Nancy but I'm not a huge fan of the cover art. It doesn't scream I am coming for your wigs Beatles haha. It doesn't scream Billboard count your days bish. The cover art is very pretty but it's something more like for a greatest hits album or "the love songs" collection. It's not memorable like TEOM or even catchy like Caution. Also maybe like a beauty magazine cover shoot. The way they posed the era starting with she wants to get 2 more #1's the album cover doesn't match the vibe. I hope we get some alternate versions too with a more fierce look. Also someone said a few posts back she needs a new stylist. I agree. We also need her out of these huge diamond necklaces and diamond bracelet stacks, they are very early 2000s vibe and it ages her a bit which is crazy because she is at another beauty peak. If she wants to pull in the number she needs the streaming audience that is mostly younger.

Great title. I too am concerned a bit about the date. The album was supposed to be a summery album so releasing it at the end of summer is interesting. It also has very few tracks like 11 if I'm not mistaken will they have to release more songs to tie up to the album release. I'm surprised it's not in August because that's perfect timing and doesn't she have some big shows lined up for August. Plus August wouldn't have too much competition. I'm sure they have a plan and I hope they stick to it and don't push it further that will kill momentum. I'm excited for Sugar Sweet next week and hope we have a solid music video and some fun remixes.

You'll lose the dollar just because of the 60 haha. Mariah would never. So far the album seems to have E=MC2 vibes with TDang being very Migrate, Sugar Sweet being very TMB/ IBLULT (with the island vibes). So I think she might pivot towards making it another installment of the Emancipation series (I think the idea was planted when those interviewer guys asked her if Caution was Emancipation 3rd edition or if it's coming in future). But hey maybe she will name the album Sugar, spice and everything nice haha.

I actually was looking forward to Why You Mad with Justin. I think Mariah and Justin's voice went well together, however the song had too many features but just from the leaked version I would have liked it. The Superfestive AIWFCIY is a write off because Bieber's voice was still very young at that point so it didn't have the depth it has now. I do think Justin is very talented (albeit problematic) and I would definitely be on board for a collaboration between them. But something organic like Snooze not something forced. Justin does great on features like he did with Sza, Kid Laroi etc. I think he has great respect for Mariah and Mariah likes him too so I would definitely be on board.

Ok so snippet is out. Next single is Sugar Sweet. Seems very easy breezy sexy kinda vibe like TMB which is a song I love. The snippet hasn't instantly hooked me but neither did the snippet for TDang but I grew to like that. What does everyone think? By the way she looks like a literal Barbie. I can't wait for cover art and I think we'll get simultaneous album name reveal.

The new album is supposed to be a summery sound, well July is almost over I wonder what the roll out plan is and I was thinking I really hope the new album and what we heard about it turns out to be like E=MC2. I've been playing the album and it's still so fresh and experimental. Almost every song had single potential. I was also re-listening to For the Record and indeed what a record only MC has a legacy worth referencing in her own song. I absolutely love her doing the part where she word plays her own song titles, how I wish we had a music video of the song with her recreating her famous MV scenes from the songs mentioned. Anyway I'm rambling but yes I'm hoping for an album like that. It's peak summer vibes with songs like TMB, Cruise Control, IBLULT, FTR, Migrate, ITC. Even has the cheesy Love Story and Last Kiss which I know people hate on but I love it.

I tend to think the opposite, I don't think Nick was a good match for Mariah. Yes initially of course they had that sexual tension and the playful romance but I think Nick didn't respect Mariah's boundaries. She is quite private yet he outed her phone number when she was pregnant, told people they make love to "Hero" and get blabbering about their personal life. It's also clear he gave Mariah reasons to believe he wasn't faithful because in the Barbara Walters interview Mariah already seemed checked out and says she trusts him "sometimes". And then we got MIAM which provided another side of how she was very lonely in the marriage, how he used her for fame and all that.

Ok so I was scrolling TikTok and I randomly happened up a snippet of ISIL and I don't know why that song was so hated, it's actually pretty nice and very classic Mariah. I know it was put in the trash can as a WBT dupe but I think it's a decent song with a great beat. Anyways just my two cents, justice for ISIL.
