New video (83,844) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) So it looks like the video for the single With You was shot yesterday. I really believe that we are in for some exciting things with the new era and Christmas season fast approaching. On another note I am enjoying GTFO more and more with each listen. MC doubled her voice differently than she has ever done in the past plus the ad libs after the second verse are a delight. She hasn't sounded this good and rested since Charmbraclet. The Grove, memoirs? (83,838) by RibbonB from USA Mimi tweeted about some surprise today at the Hollywood Grove Barnes and Noble. Some think she's announcing her memoirs. She included the #GTFO hashtag though. There is also video of her, seen shooting something on the streets of LA yesterday. GTFO is the perfect reintroduction to Mariah and her music for the general public. After repeated listens GTFO goes from catchy to infectious. I can easily see GTFO following a trajectory similar to Pink's Who Knew. Who Knew was only a moderate success when first released but after the success of a follow-up single the song was later successfully re-released. (Sunday 16 September 2018; 23:16)

Also the season of release is different and the format of the video as well, remember ILT had a "to be continued" which made it all interesting and one could guess more was coming. With the GTFO we don't have a storyline or anything, the song doesn't even have an actual ending but a fading one and the video was a beauty video. Even "I don't" had more storytelling than this new video. It's what always plays against Mariah when it comes to YT views for example. Her ample cleavage is distracting and that might have worked in the end of the 90s and early 00s when having big tatas was all the rage (even Paris got hers) but not anymore, no one cares. I was never much of a fan of Touch My Body but the video was so much fun I watched it many times. She needs better videos. (Sunday 16 September 2018; 18:41)

She's expanding trying out new sounds exploring her voice gaining new fans. If she wanted to whistle or belt it out she could but she doesn't need to. She's done all that so many times. WBT was actually a shock for most people because it was a slow burner and they never thought that would be a hit. Apparently, it didn't do that well outside the US. (Sunday 16 September 2018; 04:43)

Celine and Adele aren't trending, gracing magazine covers, or getting endorsement deals. Hell, I am not sure that they are even relevant. Didn't TEOM get the same rollout with It's Like That being a buzz single and We Belong Together as the "first real single?" October 5 is going to be another big day for the album reveal details. Re: Billboard? (83,811) (83,823) by Andrew from UK On its first day GTFO was only the 284th top streamed video on YouTube. Having an average video severely hurts your prospects these days. Mariah's issue here is her vanity. She will only film videos where she looks perfect and the environment is controlled from every angle. Whilst is may make her look pretty it makes for one boring ass video that nobody wants to watch in a time when views count towards charting positions. (Saturday 15 September 2018; 19:49)
