It was because he surfaced out of nowhere and started doing all these tell-all stories about their time together, and then kept bugging her across her social media to work together again. You're right, it was ages since they last worked together which is why she said he was clutching at straws for fame and could only use her name for attention. Mariah would not write a song like that (caps) about her husband at the time (end caps). This site needs a head banging emoji, it really does.

Article: Mariah Carey on sex, shade, and those epic memes (90,300)
by Scott from USA

Now, I love me some Mariah(isms), but girl, five people? I don't buy it. Not for a second. I can name more than that:
Tommy Mottola Derek Jeter Damizza Luis Miguel Nick Cannon James Packer Bryan Tanaka
I'm not saying that seven is a lot or anything. But I'm saying it's more than five.

Ribbon and Bill, Thirsty is about me. Mariah got mad because I dumped her for Madonna so she decided to be a twat and write about me. I was going to sue her for defamation, but then she had CruStella the Hag and her circus freaks come after me so I settled out of court for some gum and the Bianca wig. Feels good to finally speak my truth.

I was kind of feeling bad thinking I was just being a twat waffle about how weird this interview was. After reading a few posts I don't feel so bad. The interview was a discombobulated mess imo, but like I said before the pictures are gorgeous. Give that stylist a raise asap.

Bill seriously? Thirtsy about Damizza? How so? Because everyone knows that song is about Nick Cannon. Why would Mariah suddenly explode over Damizza some 15 years later and write a diss song and a catchy one at that over someone so insignificant in her career? You hear that high note at the end "cos boy you're thirsty" that's emotions stemming from a breakup powering that note. Lol. I got startled listening to the song when it got to the end.

I'm going off her lyrics too sweetheart. Nick didn't change his name, Damien Young did. Nick didn't Mariah for weeks on end on his social media after they broke up, Damizza did. Nick wasn't stunting on his Instagram trying to get Mariah's attention, Damizza was. And don't forget Mariah and Nick were married (caps) at the time the song was written and recorded, and in the album notes she says how much she treasures her family - i.e., her husband and children. Infinity is about Nick, no doubt about it. Her first song post-break up. Thirsty isn't. Nick never did any of the crap that song mentions.

No TJ you are not the only one. I was thinking exactly the same. The interview was so boring. Has she nothing else to tell? I know it's just a beauty magazine but it was indeed a bit weird to read and nothing new. To say something positive I like the cover.

When I was reading the interview I couldn't let go of the fact that it didn't bring anything new to the table. It was like reading an interview from years back. It might be me who read to much Mariah-stuff online etc. Am I the only one?

Forbes 100, where's Mariah? (90,288)
by TJ from Norway
| |
|
|
Where's Mariah's spot on that list? There's music, touring, fragrances, lip sticks and so on, and still she didn't make it. I know that younger artists sell more and therefore make more money, but surprisingly many old bands and artists made it on the list (that's why I miss MC). Elton John started his career long before Mariah was an embryo, Celine Dion in the 80's (an artist that many lambs forget exist), The Eagles started when she was one or two (who knows her age?), Paul McCartney started when her mother was young. Even "the one we don't know", made it on that list (year after year). Is it time for Mariah to change her game to be part of the "musical royalties"? Does she spend more than what she gets in? I guess it's not easy to stay on top of the game, but I like to think that Mariah is there (somewhere). By the look of the list, I wonder why she missed a spot.

Rumor has it... (90,285)

MC might have a new album out by the end of the year. I'm so happy MC is on a magazine again. That interview was fun and breezy. It looks like a bunch of sound bites that'll keep her on social media for awhile. The media has an obsession with shade. Not everything she says is shade it's just being honest and sharing her experience. This interview seems to be introducing her to the current generation with the attention span of a gnat. The quote used to be "less than one hand" now it's "one hand". Katy never shaded MC. Beautiful is an old school Motown throwback sound. MC is good at those.

Oh yeah, him. I forgot about Packer too. Maybe she dated them but didn't "do the deed" with them? Honestly, the more I think about it, I believe Packer was a publicity stunt to get people to stop talking about her and Nick.

Terrible interview (90,283)
by Ronnie from California
| |
|
|
She is still capable of great interviews (V Magazine a year or so back), but the only way I can justify this one is by speculating she is planning to plop herself back into the public eye. No one (other than lambs and our unfortunate companions) has thought twice about Mariah since NYE and her damaged image remains unchanged. Is she planning on shifting the narrative, or is her next emancipation going to be an unapologetically sarcastic one? The Mariah we know is funny and sarcastic as hell - but she's also far more complex atop the shady diva "persona". I figure shifting the narrative is more likely since her team seems to be gearing for one and it aligns with her character. The American (mostly the 'Murican) political/social climate could make some room for her unique position as a target of industry shenanigans. Watching powerhouse corporate leaders be 'reprimanded' has opened up the discussion and perhaps she is a leading lady for the music industry's MeToo moment? This interview left me with more questions than answers.

What about the pictures leaked by Azaryan? Her boobs look natural, not too big. I don't believe she did the boob job. Probably she's doing lots of boob taping (google it) and doing other tricks.
