Re: E=MC2 #36 (93,794) (93,796) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
Why is this happening in the United States? Does anyone *actually* know (rather than postulating)? How about justice for Migrate and she releases it as a single if the album goes top 10?

E=MC2 #4 (93,795) by ksquarred from paris
It is at number 4 on the US iTunes.

E=MC2 #36 (93,794) by T from USA
E=MC2 is at #36 on the US iTunes album chart. Can we push it into the top 20? Can we possibly push it to #1 and get a little more justice to the amazing TEOM followup?

Re: This performance (93,788) (93,793) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
On my phone whilst reading this board about Just Be Good To Me I was listening to a review of the 80s move Total Recall on YouTube on my work phone. All of a sudden I could faintly [hear] the song in the background. I actually thought MCA was playing music. It was coming from the review on the movie in my other phone. Totally freaked out. Probably not that interesting. But. Totally. Freaked. Out.

Re: E=MC2 back on the sales charts (93,791) (93,792) by Bobby A from United States
I think it's because of MC's recent videos of TEOM songs. I hope she is virtually working on a new album with some heavy hitter producers and songwriters. Wouldn't it be cool for new music this year? MC is very smart in marketing her music.

E=MC2 back on the sales charts (93,791) by T from USA
E=MC2 is at #85 on the USA iTunes albums charts. Let's all buy it again so it goes into the top 50 again for the first time since 2008. Imagine if we could get #Justice4EMC2.

Outstanding performance. There is a version on YouTube that has been "remastered" to pretty good quality.

If they don't release one of the European concerts in HQ/HD for Daydream25 (which would be a huge wasted opportunity), then they must include this as part of the Tokyo version in its entirety.

I agree. I love the way she is moving in this song. She looks comfortable, and she seems like she's letting loose and having a good time. I love hip hop inspired attire. This is just cool.

Yay. One of my favourite performances of all time. This should have been a single. Could have easily gone number. Great remake,

I love the song so much. Mariah's performance is cool and sweet at the same time. MC and the sporty outfit is simply great. And her hat is everything. Perfectly performance. Daydream Mariah was unstoppable. I wish she had done more songs like this, it suits her so well.

Great remake. I used to love that this was a "tour exclusive" in the early days. She should bring it back.

I just saw this short clip of Just Be Good To Me. Tanaka, get her to move like this again. Headed to YouTube to catch the full performance. I don't know how I missed this before.

Let's Talk About Love (93,783) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
So I've been watching this documentary about the making of Let's Talk About Love by Celine Dion in 1997. Walter Afanasieff is in it, sat at the piano watching Celine and Barbra fawn over each other in the most nauseating way. It is honestly as vomit inducing as the song they sing. His face is a picture. He is looking at them like they are bat shit cray cray and he would rather be anywhere but there. This album must have been recorded just after Butterfly. I can imagine him longing to be back in the studio with Mariah. Let's Talk About Love sold 31 million albums which is incredible given that it is a shite album into which they threw every top producer, writer, performer they could could find. It's a mess and quite boring (except for Immortality and The Reason). Tell Him is the most sickening, awkward, cringe song and video I have ever heard and seen. It makes me giggle in embarrassment even when I'm on my own. If it were not for the original version of My Heart Will Go On being on the album it would not have sold nearly as much. Butterfly is the much better album. It's quite frustrating that it did not sell well. But it didnt have any big number on it (they should have pushed Whenever You Call). Watch the documentary though. Watching Celine produce her prime vocals in a studio is really quite something. As is glimpsing Walter post the divorce from Mariah.

Re: Censoring? (93,781) (93,782) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
He certainly sounds insane. However: "I believe [Mariah] has more natural talent than both Madonna and Janet, in terms of acting ability. Maybe, even, Whitney." So said you in October 2019. Those in glass houses... as they say.

Yes. I saw the scar during the Charmbracelet concert too. Her legs were so beautiful by the way.

Don't think so. I noticed a scar when I was at the Rainbow tour concert in Belgium in 2000. I remember because I wondered how she got it.

Re: Andrew - pic on point (93,773) (93,776) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
I have been so advised to STFU so I will. Only you can get away with it, though. As for your song of the day, I like the (really) random choice. It is annoying as hell that Glitter is not on Spotify etc. I am, however (after the afternoon singing MTV Unplugged out loud twice in succession whilst sunbathing, much to my neighbours chagrin) all about Alanis Morrissette and Jagged Little Pill now. I've just found out she is in London in September celebrating 25 years since it was released in June and I am completely psyched. Jagged Little Pill is a seminal, amazing piece of music. As much as I regret that Mariah lost out in so many ways to it, credit where it is due: Jagged Little Pill was the soundtrack to an entire year. Celine and Alanis in London in the same month. Canada has three queens, not one. And they all be in my yard in September.

Weekly Q&A with Mariah (93,775) by ADAM from USA
Does anyone think Mariah would be receptive to the idea of a weekly Q&A with her fans on Instagram or Twitter for an hour? She's home bound now and I don't see this being a big inconvenience at all. She has the best lighting at home and all she has to do is go on IG live and talk directly to her fans. She has such a long career that is fans would love to learn more about. Does anyone have any idea how to get this message to her? Can we start a viral campaign?

I haven't laughed so much in ages. Love the picture. Mariah would love the side tilt tribute as well. By far the best profile pic on MCA. You are a legend.

Re: Song of the day - Want You (93,768) (93,772) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
It's a good duet. It's got this 80's nightlife urgency to it. Underrated track. Of all the ill-advised collaborations on Glitter, this, in my opinion, works the best because it's the most melodic and sounds Eric at least sounds like he belongs on the track, while the others really sound like phoned-in features.
