CBS Gale interview (111,441) by Jamie from UK I just watched the interview but I skipped through the snippets. Nice to see the humour still there and her vulnerability. I just feel the light heartedness isn’t there she’s clearly very medicated. But if that’s what she needs to function then that’s cool. CBS Gale interview (111,432) by Mara from United States That is how you interview the likes and talent of Mariah Carey. What a beautiful interview with reaching into Maria[h] and getting her to speak for the first time about her grief and her loss and just talking about her mom, and even the fact that she brought up that she was at her bedside and with her. I'm so glad that she heard the words she needed to hear to heal. It was also so special to hear her speak of Alison as her sister in that way. I'm sure she had and continues to have so many different emotions going on. Here For It All sounds like one of her best albums, and I am so excited just like the old me in the 90s as a teenager when she would release her albums in the fall and they always coincided with something I was going through. This album doesn't shy away from the same feeling "Nothing Is Impossible" sounds like one of the most beautiful melodies and lyrics. I think I've ever heard just from that clip alone I am so excited for this album let alone the "My Love" cover. I can't wait to hear that. I hope she takes it in a different direction than "One More Try" and it's not as overproduced with too much going on. I'm just so excited. I can't believe we're going to have new music for the first time in seven years basically tomorrow at midnight. Congratulations Mariah - we are so proud of you and all you have and continue to overcome. Most of us have been proudly with you and Here For It All through your entire career. Mariah fan site lambs are so crazy (111,434) by T from USA I'm seeing people on other message boards asking others not to post reviews if they are not complementary to the album. And to only post the publications that give the album good reviews. What kind of free speech stifling is this? So in the future the only way to be a fan of Mariah and post on her topic in a message board is if you only state the good and none of the bad? What is going on with the world? Play this song (111,429) by Giovanni from USA I made the mistake of not turning the volume off my phone before I went on Mariah's Insta and well I heard a little of "Play this song". It's sounds pretty good and has the potential to help the album. I have to say by seeing the short video clip Anderson .Paak looks so happy with Mimi. I think he has a crush on her and I wouldn't be surprised if they were secretly dating. I've never seen someone smile so much for Mariah probably since Bryan. What do y'all think? Somewhat loved (111,427) by Giovanni from USA I really wish this had been Mariah's song. I can understand how it might not have been hit worthy but I like it and I think it had potential. Her voice sounds good and the lyrics are decent. It's certainly a lot better than that horrible garbage "Infinity" song. I would like to ask her what she thinks of the song. Recent falsetto (111,426) by Giovanni from USA Christina was good when she first started. I like her debut album and it's aged very well. "Come on over" is her best song in my opinion followed by "I turn to you". She definitely had a tendency of over singing and over doing it with riffs and runs but her problem was that she did not have proper singing technique which damaged her voice. She's probably the only singer who I can think of who has strained the most and well that also had a major impact on her voice. I've seen some recent performances of hers and surprisingly sounds much better these days. I'm happy for her and hope she can have another hit record one day. Recent falsetto (111,414) by Tony Lorenzo from UK This is what is going on with Mariah's voice. Firstly, her pitch is as always, technically perfect which enables her to sing in different keys while staying melodious. Her problem in her latter years has been breath control. She doesn't take in enough oxygen (and wears tight clothes that constrict her chest) these days to sustain notes and sing with power. I think she just needs to do lots of breathwork to improve her oxygen capacity and she'd be back to normal. Mariah's "loss of breath control" is still leagues above the vast majority of singers though. She's lucky her voice just sounds nice too. Many people can technically sing but their voices don't sounf pleasant. Thinking of for example Christina Aguilera. (Tuesday 23 September 2025; 23:38)
