I don't like the idea of people going after Stella now they have her phone number. That's as low as she is, and paints Mariah's fans in a bad light and again only fans the flames when it's best to ignore it. Plus there is no evidence Stella released the video. Mariah's Entourage is huge and it could have been leaked by anybody. (What is "profound journalism"? In any case it is not sensationalism to simply report that a video showing a celebrity behaving shamelessly has been released.) These sources are exploitative and vile craving on sensationalism. One day they will put a celebrity on a pedestal to knock the same person down the day after. Didn't the Daily Mail also feature the story about Mariah suffering from Bipolar II disorder? (So what? That was what was reportable at the time as is this now. The newspapers aren't arbiters of morality but nor are they obliged to seem to do the interminably positive and not print disparaging or embarrassing items. Were that to be the case, B would win a Pulitzer.) 2. The pictures aren't the most flattering but I have seen worse from other celebrities. (Comparative arguments are a bit pointless. A thing is bad because it is bad in itself, not more admirable because something worse exists.) 3. During this era she was surrounded by vultures who would never tell her "no". Knowing that Mariah has a disorder that needs very particular care which requires to abstain from anything remotely mind-expanding such as alcoholic beverages or any type of drugs. Stella gladly indulged Mariah's every wish or demand knowing this would benefit her own position. Not one person in her surroundings was actually taking proper care of her. Were they aware of her mental condition or not? Someone must have been. She wasn't looked after and was even encouraged to indulge in her cravings. This is a form of abuse. Yes she looks faded and the lighting is hideous but other than that she has nothing to worry about. MC has to stop putting trust into people she meets so quickly because Stella and her circus did not have MC's best interests at heart from the beginning they just were out to get notoriety and perks off of MC's name and image. Heavens to Betsy not a bikini. It's been 20 years since this woman pranced around in a bikini and roller skates bending over washing a car in a video. She's taken tons of pics touching her body. I wish that she would take matters into her own hands and be bold and direct about what the hell happened those crazy years with Stella. The memoirs she is writing should be straightforwardly honest and blunt. She has received many accolades the past year that celebrate her professional work. They are merely providing more unnecessary details now. Hell, M even confesses to it in With You. She's really tried to turn her life around since being "woke" and back on the wagon. It's sad to see fans lose respect for her again now. As for the studio sessions, I think M basically spelt it out in the Amsterdam show that it's for the 25th anniversary of Merry Christmas by saying "it's for a special event".
