People are being more morose and what not about this picture now, than they were when she was spiraling and in the midst of the nightmare. Hopefully she has come through a bit to the other side of this drama. I have mentioned this outstanding drama many times on this board, but I do believe it will be settled. Hopefully she has gotten the help she has needed for whatever her issues are. Only she knows and I wouldn't take the word of her pathetic brother or a disgruntled clown. We care about MC (92,995) by Tijl from Belgium The last days the message board hit a rather delicate yet important matter. Is Mariah an alcoholic persé? The subject touches nerves as it is beyond regular fandom. I for one have written quite some posts about her issues with substance abuse. Am I in the wrong? I really do not think I have crossed a line. There is blatant proof. In my defence and hers. Suffering from substance abuse does not define one as a "bad" person. It is a sign of personal struggles and feelings of inadequacy. I love and adore Mariah. Ask anyone in my life. I worship her and she has been there in the good times, the bad ones and everything in between. I love her because she is such a fighter, a survivor and never will be defeated. Yet, we all know as "normal" people that living life gets to you. Heartbreaks, disappointments and breaking of trust. None of us are spared from the hardships of life and for every victory there is a price to pay. I will always support my girl because she has always - unknowingly - been there for me. She is in my heart always and my biggest wish is to be able to gratify her in the flesh one day. I know she is a fighter and I know she will bounce back. She always has before. And concerning the vocal decline? Of course it is intertwined with her lifestyle. I don't care. She has nothing left to prove. I only wish her peace of mind and happiness. Always my hero. The truth of the matter is it's non of our business. The only person that can help Mariah is Mariah herself. I'm actually shocked at what I'm reading. You would have to be a fool to not realize all the things we wish we could change about her current state. Who are we to bring light to something she may not or may be ready to admit? You might as well black mail her like this current lawsuit. This is absolutely insane. My love for her runs deep and I only wish the best. I'd rather and as most fans and decent human beings would, rather have Mariah lose all her records, just to get her voice health and mental stability back and in check. I don't want to wake up one day and hear that Mariah has had a serious injury or worse . It's time to address the elephant in the room. I will continue to support her, but, I'm not going to turn a blind eye when there is a problem. Concern (92,990) by Edward from USA I think it's important showing concern for a person we adore about any addiction, it's one of the ways we can help, especially somebody like Mariah. When it comes to addiction is not as easy as telling somebody to quit, but showing concern instead turning a blind lamb eye is important. We all know, not only through videos, but through her brother and even Eminem that Mariah has a problem with alcohol, and alcohol and bipolar meds is a cocktail for disaster. I hope for the sake of her children that she takes good care of herself. Sadly, addiction is way more complicated than that, look what happened to Whitney and then her own daughter, also the two Michaels had their own demons in that area. Mariah is still young, with a lot to give and a gift from heaven. What's happening to her voice is heartbreaking to me, even though some blind lambs think is just ok for this or that reason. It used to be All I've Ever Wanted or Till The End Of Time when I was younger but it's probably definitely Languishing, now. So I wondered, if you were being honest - and I mean absolutely honest and not just trying to associate yourself with a track because you think it makes you seem cool or saying two or three tracks because you're such a lamb and "ohhh you just cant decide" - what non-single track do you *actually* honestly listen go to the most? Addictions (92,987) by Andrew from the United Kingdom Mariah is an addict. But addicts aren't really defined by the extent to which they do something but more so the inability to resist the initial impulse. Mariah clearly has behaviours which are detrimental to her life - things that harm her image and her career, things that affect her voice, her size, her actions. Smoking drugs and drinking copiously when you have one of the most beautiful - and sensitive - voices in the world is like winning the lottery and then pissing your money up the wall. Having a hot body and beautiful face then over eating and slapping on clown make-up is exactly the same thing. I do not think I will ever understand why Mariah drove her image and her career like a freight train through the tunnel walls. I have long argued that people need to tell her the truth and have been screamed at on here by the emotionally frail teen fangirl-like lambs. But I am glad people finally accept something is quite wrong and has been for quite a while. (Saturday 22 February 2020; 13:58)

If you care for her as a human being, you'd disregard any concern for potentially upsetting other fans to talk about what matters most - her physical health, and while we are not with Mariah 24/7, the pictures, videos and even interviews of her with a "splash" in hand are enough cause for concern. This is something Celine doesn't do. Not even J.Lo. This is a Mariah message board. You are gonna read something you don't like every now and then, some times more often than usual. Anyway there are a lot of things that we all wish we could change about Mariah's current situation. Can't we just enjoy the fact that Mariah has had a number one song on the Billboard chart?
