I couldn't agree more Matty. We have no right to censor the artist. Some here won't like anything MC puts out regardless. I personally enjoy the music and will support all of MC's efforts. Basically, if Mariah likes it, then I like it. Consider the records a gift. One day MC will no longer be here and they've sat there complaining and waiting for projects that will never come. Instead, they could be more supportive and be grateful, it shouldn't be hard for her biggest fans. If they can't do that it's ok but, with all due respect, maybe it's time to move on.

I hope soon lol just because it's just too much. Between 2021-2024 she's released like what 5 albums? 4 of them re-records. She's always getting her fan base to hate on her partners but can't take the same heat when she's remotely criticized. She's also milking the Eras tour for all it's worth and I think she will release all her re-records while she has the Era's tour spotlight on her. The whole Travis Kelce thing is 100% manufactured in my opinion to keep her in the spotlight. Her fan base argues "she doesn't need more money, she's already a billionaire or she doesn't need more fame she's already famous", but if there's one thing we know about rich and famous it's that nothing is ever enough. Yes she's a billionaire, but she definitely will do anything to earn more money because she has to support the lifestyle she has. Yes she is uber famous but she knows she has to keep being in the spotlight because out of sight out of mind. After 1989 she vanished and no one even thought about her until she came back, then again she had a down phase, to the point for one of her songs I forget if it was Willow or Cardigan she had to release like 20 versions to compete with AIW, and that too fell off after 1 week. Now again we're over saturated.

To be honest I appreciate Taylor's artistry and her songwriting, it has a mass appeal. What I don't like is her money grabs and over commercialized behaviors. She's literally using her fan base as a cash cow releasing 2 albums per year (sometimes both re-records, sometimes 1 re-record and 1 new) and then she releases multiple versions of the same.

I get some people's objection to the profanities in the song, although this is music for adults, and radio plays clean versions. Profanities are just words, just like every other word. It's art and words are an expression of art. Anyways . What was odd to me is that some don't like the message of this song. it's extremely empowering. "Wear this stuff on your chest, be your own best friend. I'm done with hypocrisy" etc. it's extremely empowering and self assured. Aside for your view on curse words, why isn't this songs lyrics a flex of self love and empowerment?

Radio seems to be passing on the remix. I have checked other major radio stations' "Recently Played" section today and the remix is not being played. They are still playing the original. These radio programmers know if the remix is played what it would mean for MC. I am afraid it is going to be difficult for MC to ever get back to her 90s heyday radio airplay ruled by today's radio dynamic four of Doja Cat (I can't stand her music), Jack Harlow, Sza, and Taylor Swift.

JLo is out at the Bronx singing CDs at target. Bless her heart her 300m followers weren�t enough, but lol MC and Ariana should totally start selling signed copies to maximize the sales. Side note Taylor Swift has been revealing new bonus tracks here and there and her fans are kinda tired at this point of her capitalizing of them. She sold atleast 3 different versions of Midnights, then all the rereleases and now the new album looks like will have different versions too.

Hahah I get your feelings and I too will be happy with a top 5 top 10 so that it positions Mariah really well for her next release but if it goes to #1, that'll be icing on the cake. I know it's a polarizing song, but a #1 is a #1 haha. I mean 4 of Mariah's #1s have been about her wanting to have sex lol (Honey, Fantasy, My All and TMB), 5th too if you count Emotions. The last collab she had was literally about having Big D Energy. Lol so I'll take whatever win we can have.

Yus US Lambs please push this song hard. Arianators are apparently going hard with promo calling the biggest radio stations to play the song. It was played on Z100 which is huge. The Arianators want it to hit #1 so Ariana can have the gift of going #1 side by side with her idol. There have been people who listened to it the first time and didn't like it only to later like it upon further listens, so if it's played on radio and all it'll reach masses.

People are so dumb they literally said Mariah was showing off her vocals on purpose to sabotage Ariana. As if it's not Ariana's song and I'm sure Ariana discussed with Mariah what she wanted and Mariah delivered accordingly. This isn't like it was a Mariah song and Ariana had no say in it. Apparently Mariah's "loud" vocals sound really great when played in clubs because someone mentioned the remix was played in a club they went to. So Mariah knew exactly what she's was doing. Others saying Mariah sounds AI generated, like ok so she sounds great? People hate it when she whispers, people hate it when she's belting. People hate it when she doesn't sound great, people hate it when she does sound great.

So the remix is a lot better than the original song. I hope Mariah and Ariana have a lot of success with this song. I don't mean to be negative but there's this part of me that hopes it cracks the top 10 or even top 5 on Billboard, but not reach number one.

I just don't like the song or the message at all. Like I said Mariah added depth to the song that it was missing, and other than the bad mixing on the pre and first chorus everything songs great, uh, I don't know, I just feel like this song shouldn't be attached to the brilliant songs that make up the other 19. Call it single/song impostor syndrome, idk. Anyway on a positive note, I have been trying to stream it in the background to help. I do hope they both work on an original song together in the future and not just remakes.

Also, as a YouTuber said in his reaction of yes and, Mariah has started off belting in a song since 1996

lol, so I was happy and presently surprised that she was belting in full chest voice throughout the song and sounding great too.

When was the last time Mariah was on top worldwide and it wasn't a Christmas song? Even here in Norway, Mariah is now #3 on top songs on iTunes. I had completely forgotten the feeling I experience when Mariah is represented on the charts. It's too early to hope for Mariah's name to be on offical charts around the world, but what a great feeling that would be. Nevertheless, congrats Mariah and Ariana.
