Mariah day (88,144) by anonymous from UK So I've had a full on MC fest today. It started with listening to the Caution album, then moved on to the Daydream album and now I'm sat here watching the full Tokyo Daydream tour on YouTube, which I've shared on Facebook as well. I'm still to this day in absolute awe of Mariah, and watching this concert just once again reaffirms just why she is one the most legendary artists of all time, and of course, my all time personal favourite. It just doesn't get better. It can't be stated enough, by enough people, just how phenomenal and truly one of a kind this woman's voice truly is. I'm absolutely and always will be a huge, proud, ecstatic lamb. And on a different note - it felt a little like spring today, hopefully we can feel the winter losing its grip here in the northern hemisphere. Bring on the summer. I love his famous quotes like "we don't know Heidi Klum, she was never in Paris" lol and so on. The pic on instagram where he kissed Mariah's hand is fantastic. And it's not like Oprah asked her what year Mariah was born, it's just something she mentioned herself so I also believe her. I've never understood why her age was still in doubt after that. It's the first concert with Mariah I ever bought, and I also have it on VHS, but also DVD. One time I just bought ten copies of the DVD version, and gave it as presents to family and friends, even though none of them are particularly intrested in Mariah. The concert at Toky Dome might be better, but it's something with the production of the MSG one that is so good. I actually had the concert from Tokyo Dome in DVD before it was available to the general public. I know a famous music journalist who works for the national brodcasting network here in Norway, NRK, and he gave a copy that belonged to NRK to me before it was released in the early 00's. I remember I was so proud as a Mariah fan to own that, a treasure. Now it's not special to have it, I have bought a couple of DVD's that has been released, but I still have it, it is just a blank DVD inside a CD cover with the songs handwritten by some one who worked at NRK. According on several sites that compile chart data Caution has sold somewhere between 75,000 to 100,000 copies which is impressive considering Jay-Z and Beyoncé's joint album has only sold 500,000 copies. Even more so when you consider the public humiliations Mariah has endured over the four years. Mariah is going to do the rounds to promote the tour so let's wait and see how Roc Nation's and Epic's strategic plan plays out. So far they've accomplished exactly what they set out to do, regain the favor of Adult Contemporary and R&B radio. (Thursday 21 February 2019; 05:08)

As tour dates approach people will be buying tickets and by doing so they'll also be buying the album because Epic bundled tour tickets with copies of the album which will increase sales of the album. I think Mariah and Epic are going to release two more singles after A No No even if it's a complete and utter failure simply because they no longer seem concerned with Mariah topping the Hot 100 and instead are focusing their efforts on restablishing Mariah at Adult Contemporary and R&B radio which they've already accomplished with With You. With You is #3 on the Adult R&B Songs chart, #33 on the Top 40 chart, and #7 on the Adult Contemporary chart and on each has a bullet for gains in performance. (Thursday 21 February 2019; 05:07)

This board (88,132) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) This board has gone right back to a negative place again it seems like nothing MC can do is right no matter what it is. Despite everything she is still doing great honestly she is no longer a twenty something year old chasing pop stardom she is now almost 50 and has cemented her legacy as one of the few pop divas we still have left despite the ups and downs she has gone through over the years. As a family I have to agree we fuss over the most foolish things at times but what keeps us going is the love that we share for MC. It is my hope that we can get back to appreciating her and her gifts before we no longer have them at our disposal. Be good to yourselves Archives family and let’s to be good to one another. Labels alter age (88,131) by Nikki from usa Artists in general are always questioned about their age because labels have a long history of altering them. They try to make the artists as young as possible to add more longevity to their careers, especially females. J.Lo lied about her age by 1 year. That didn't come out until she was arrested with Puffy. Sony claimed she was 28 instead of 29. Eminem's label claimed he was 25 when he debuted, but he actually was 28. Nicki Minaj did the same thing. I think what sparked Mariah's questioning is the fact her label has her graduating high school at 17. That's problematic when MC's a spring baby. She would've just turned 17 prior to graduation. Which means she spent most of her senior year as a 16 year old. She couldn't be that young unless she skipped a grade or started school obscenely early. Personally, I think it's because they wanted to exaggerate how long it took Mariah to get discovered. Spending over a year to get 1 record deal is more of a drama than having 3 record labels fighting over her within 6 months. (Wednesday 20 February 2019; 21:34)

And I also get hope and positive energy everytime I listen to it. Her Madison Square Garden concert is hypnotic and for me one of the best. I don't care if it's dubbed, it's wonderful. A No No remix fake news (88,126) by Eduardo from Mexico No one has confirmed the song is coming out on March, that was a rumor spread by the fake Lil Kim's manager instagram account (yes the Blas Morera instagram account really looks like a Lil Kim's fan page) who actually retwitted from Indonesian lambily (another fan page) and they tweeted without any source plus Missy Elliot and Cardi B just denied it completly so I'm starting to beleive Mariah just gave up with Caution. I saw the supposed denial from Missy but there are several official Missy Elliott Twitter accounts that all look legit and have links to her official site and iTunes, so who knows if she's on it or not.
