Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,524) (71,527) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter You know I was just thinking about it today that when M announced the show, she said it'll be like a "behind the scenes" of what goes on while they try to put on a show with some bits of her personal life, but anything related to the show is just always limited to strictly 3 minutes of the total duration. The rest is filled with all these scripted drama, most of which doesn't even include Mariah. The only tour stuff we see is Mariah just walking to stage in the silver bodysuit, they've shown that scene so many times. I also don't get what they think will come out of this whole crappy Tanaka story line. It makes MC look bad. Stella out there is making herself look nice by pretending that she is not down with these. But please who is she kidding? (Monday 23 January 2017; 15:59)

Honestly Ribbon B please watch the last 5 minutes (the bus scene) of this week's episode and give me your opinion. I get being flirty, but to actually rub up against this other man when you're engaged and to allow him to grope and grab at you is just so disturbing and then as usual she sits on his lap and gives a sly look at the camera. Preview for next episode (71,520) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This is the preview for the next episode. A little more is shown after today's episode and when Bryan asks if M will marry "this guy", Mariah says "I don't even know anymore." Also they show scenes of M getting a piggy back ride from Tanaka on the beach and those cringe worthy beach scenes. Nick will be here next episode too so at least we'll have one normal scene. MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,519) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter 1) Mariah's Clash Magazine photoshoot behind the scenes. They are teasing Anthony by calling him the "king of opinions". Anthony says yes he is not a "yes man". 2) M is going through fan mail when Stella comes and asks why James left abruptly. M says she doesn't know and says she wishes she had more quality time to give James but she didn't (well to be honest, she would have had she told her entourage to go away for a while). 4) Tanaka can't continue for the rest of the tour because he needs to be on bed rest for 4 weeks. Stella talks about how she usually doesn't have feelings because she's "desensitized" but she feels bad for Tanaka. 5) Continuation of Mary Ann and Anthony drama. Stella who was previously throwing daggers for stares at Anthony for not wanting to share the bus with Mary Ann's kids is now team Anthony talking about how fights happen between family members and all. Stella's hypocrisy also shines through when she talks about it's not necessary they'll all have to like each other all the time, when she's the first one to fire people she doesn't get with. 6) Drama-naka talking about how he is confused about M and his feelings and their crazy connection. He is pretty upset and thinks he should go home (yes, finally a good decision but we all know that doesn't happen). 7) M is meeting fans, the guy who gave her the Barbie is also there. Stella comes and tells M that Tanaka is planning on leaving, that's when they decide to bring him on stage and straddle him. The whole scene is so cringe worthy, like girl, you were just trying on your wedding dress and now you are giving this dude a lap dance, especially after she's been told repeatedly that he has "feelings" for her. M says she doesn't want Tanaka to leave and Tanaka also decides to stay. 8) Mary Ann and Anthony talk things out, it was a cute moment, I'll admit. I understand now why Mary Ann overreacted at that moment. 9) They are on their way to have some weed cakes. So they're all pretty high. Bad acting of Mariah playing a "prank" on the dancer. Clearly the whole thing is an act. 10) They're in Cape Town. It's the birthday of the twins, I can already see Mishka drinking champagne. The twins are brought out on stage. Mariah sings ABMB for them, it's a cute scene. I love seeing these moments between M and the kids. They're always so cute. 11) Ok the last scene on the bus was too much, with Mariah falling all over Tanaka and dancing with Tanaka grabbing and groping at Mariah and kissing her arms and what not. That scene wasn't even necessary for the "docu-series". (Monday 23 January 2017; 8:19)

Maybe at that point Mariah would be like "hell no" but Stella would definitely have considered and this is based on the interview she gave where she was asked would Mariah consider performing there and Stella said "we didn't get any calls" instead of "no, she wouldn't" or a more diplomatic "Mariah's plate if full, she doesn't really have any more space for taking new appointments". Re: MW Ep 6 - Hero (71,415) (71,424) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thinks the plot lines lead to no where and it's just a few scenes messily put together to cover a 40 minute time frame. Instead of the main parts featuring Mariah, they are usually given to Molly, Stella, Bryan and Mishka. We really don't see much of "putting together the show" and "behind the scenes" moments that were promised. I'm thinking maybe, just maybe they'll release a SSFT DVD that's why they don't show much of the footage of the actual concert, but I don't know, that's really no excuse. MW will apparently be released on DVD soon. All we get is is scripted drama and that too stuff that don't make sense and paint Mariah in an unflattering light. (Wednesday 18 January 2017; 17:08)

Stella was out there dancing with her daughter (as seen on her insta) instead of doing her job. Also it must really piss Anthony off that the stories about him getting fired were coming from Mariah's team (which is basically Stella). What a slap in the face. Stella will blame everyone and their mothers for her disasters but will never admit her own fault and incompetence. Pathetic leech, that entire family. (Wednesday 18 January 2017; 1:37)

Re: MW Ep 6 - Hero (71,384) (71,388) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter They actually have a very good idea about who they are managing, because they know that leeching on to someone like Mariah would give them access to a lot of things that they would otherwise not be able to get. So yes they know they have a gold mine on their hands, the only thing is they don't really care about working to get her signed to things of her status and things that would strengthen her brand and instead they are doing things that they hope will ultimately get them fame. Stella clearly wants to be (and fails) the next Kris Jenner. If Mariah really wanted to go down that route, she might as well have just hired Kris because Kris knows how to get work done. Stella is just a big mouth who just talks but ultimately does nothing. I was appalled by the way Mishka kept talking back to Mariah and Mariah allowing that. She wasn't even letting Mariah finish and kept going on and on about how there's nothing wrong with what she did. Like girl 12 or not, you are an "employee" and that's not how you talk to your boss and go through your boss's lingerie and then sling your boss's underwear at her. The more we see of this family, the more unlikable they turn out to be. Also it's sad to see it come down to Mariah just accepting things because people said "her ass looked great" or because "her ass picture went viral". (Tuesday 17 January 2017; 16:05)

I can't deal with the crap they have put on MW. Do they have recaps from all the episodes? I'll check those out (as if living through the actual episodes weren't torture enough). Drama-naka (71,368) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter First of all, I still don't buy it's a real relationship and I'm waiting to see exactly when this drama stops. Like do they have a plan that they'll carry on this "stunt", that no one is buying, until so and so date and then move on? Anyways on the flip side, let's assume it's real, what exactly does Mariah think will happen? They got into a "relationship" while this guy was dating another girl and then he quickly dumped her and started "dating" MC (all throughout the series he says he is single), and then after MC's NYE disaster his ex-girlfriend posted something on social media about "karma". So does Mariah think he'll be loyal to her? Also Mariah knows how it didn't work out for her to date someone who is younger and less financially successful than her. Nick talked about how her entourage would put it in her mind that he's using her for money and all and he's cheating. This young is not only younger than Nick, he doesn't even have a steady job. In fact now it seems like he has given up everything and just is a permanent member of Mariah's entourage following her around. So what signal does that give? Would she really want Roc to grow up thinking Tanaka's lifestyle is the way to go? I don't get how she'd think if didn't work with Nick, who at least had a lot of business and worked hard to get his money, then how will it work with this basically paid employee. I don't think Mariah takes it up as a big step down. In fact this is better than the reality show and all the random stuff she did (Match.com, GOW, vodka) because here she is actually using her talent, that is singing and not doing random crap. Don't get me wrong I don't classify the perfumes and MAC collaborations as "random" in fact I love it and it goes with her brand of "glam and beauty" but "Match.com" and "GOW" (which was abandoned) and all the random crap Stella got her into was a mess.
