Re: MW episode 6 : Mimi L review (71,347) (71,352) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Yes, these behavior would have been fine if she was single. But she was supposed to be engaged to the fan she was apparently in love with. Yet she's out their bumping and grinding with this back up dancer. I wonder what her reaction would have been if she saw James was messing around with his secretary or employees. It's a shame that she thinks showing these are doing her any favors. Also it looks like Mariah really had no intention of marrying James because Roc and Roe didn't know Mariah was getting ready to get married when she was trying on the dress. Like shouldn't the kids be eased into such a change? It looks like Mariah liked the "idea" of being with a billionaire who was smitten with her, but when things got too real she wasn't ready to face the reality yet she didn't leave him. If rumors are true that James had Tanaka banned from Caesar's palace, I'm happy that he did it. I can't even blame Tanaka really because for all we know, this is his job and he's getting paid for it. My question is what happened to Mariah's judgement? What happened to the woman who once said she doesn't need to sell sex to be successful while dissing someone who does it (supposedly Madonna, not sure), what happened to the woman who said she won't ever resort to fake relationships while dissing Kim K's wedding to Kris Humphries. What happened to the woman who would be caring for her voice and tell us about all the tips she picked up from other legends like Luther Vandross and all about humidifiers, honey tea, throat lozenges. Now it looks like she has once again forgotten about her God given gift and instead is doing everything she once said she won't. It's sad. The show might be over in 2 episodes, but the people influencing such behavior will still be around. (Monday 16 January 2017; 17:58)

Re: MW: This is not an exaggeration (71,346) (71,351) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I honestly don't know how James is in real life but in the show, whatever little we saw of him, he seemed sweet and smitten by Mariah, the way he looked at her. I was also surprised that he is actually good looking on video. I think the relationship with James was a little "too adult" for Mariah if you know what I mean? Mariah is by self admission, eternally 12 and so anything that becomes "too adult" seems to be too much. Also James crossed Stella, and no one that crosses Stella can stay in her life. Did you notice how she dealt with Mishka? She doesn't need to yell or whatever but she could have been stern about the fact that Mishka can't do whatever she wants. She could have put a stop on it, but instead she fell into the "Mariah your ass looked great, your legs looked long" trap and so that conversation was over. This is something I feel Stella does too. I've seen Anthony, although he praises her too is always very blunt with Mariah that's something that her employees need to do. (Monday 16 January 2017; 17:49)

At least she wanted it when she signed it, don't know where her mind is at now. Because she is taking up so many gigs, it's hard to fit in studio time in the middle. But I don't think when she recorded MIAM, she thought it'd be her last album. In fact after that she has said she is working on her new album and said that she'll take her time with it to perfect it. It really doesn't portray Mariah in the best light either, no matter how aloof you play (as in she doesn't understand what's going on with Tanaka and other stuff), no one is stupid enough to buy it. The show is a joke. The only good thing about this episode was we got a good footage of her singing "Hero". I like "Hero" but I'll be honest, I hardly ever reach out and play it on the regular, but in a live setting it does give you goose bumps and it's a strong song. So yes that's the only good thing. The scenes about Mishka were just ugh. Stella trying to bring her to the limelight, never going to happen dahlin'. (Monday 16 January 2017; 12:17)

Apparently Mr. Tanaka lost his luggage and so he had just 1 set of clothes. (Ok so side note, I've never been on a private jet but shouldn't your luggage also be on it or does it come separately? I don't get how it got lost.) More cringe worthy than buying him dresses was her feeling the need to sit on his lap while he holds her waist to "fix his hair" which needed no fixing. About Anthony, you'll see he's pretty straight forward with Mariah, he'll tell her stuff as it is, whether she likes it or not and that's professionalism. Because ultimately those things helped Mariah's performances. Stella on the other hand is all about "you're great, you're beautiful, they're haters, they're jealous". (Monday 16 January 2017; 12:14)

MW episode 6 : Mimi L review (71,325) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter 1) So you all remember this picture? So Anthony comes to MC and asks her if she knows this image is on her instagram. Mariah says "no" and Anthony is like he doesn't even know they were taking pictures. Mariah says she wouldn't have posted it if it was her. Kris asks what's wrong with it? And Mariah says that Anthony is worried James might now like these to be on social media and Mariah says well James is not always checking out her instagram as he's busy making billions of dollars. Well just because someone is busy making billions doesn't mean that automatically makes these ok M, how would you feel if it was the other way around? Stop defending the Bulochnikovs please. Anyways Anthony says he thinks Mariah should definitely approve what goes on her social media. Anthony is the best thing on the show. 2) Drama-naka is back selling his pity story about feeling bad about his leg. Another dancer cracked his ankle. 3) So Mariah on the plane, suddenly decides she wants to fix Bryan's hair. Side note: his hair was perfectly fine to begin with. Anyways so she gets on his lap to fix his hair while he's holding her by the waste and everyone is like what on Earth? Back at the hotel Stella teases Mariah about Tanaka crushing on her and Mariah acts like she doesn't know what Stella is talking about, all the while she has this huge smile on her face and acting like a pre-teen who found out the cute guy at school has a crush on her. 4) Mishka is going through Mariah's lingerie and she asks Mariah why she doesn't wear these? Mariah asks how does she know if she wears it or not? Mishka says she thinks M should wear it out for public outings like lunch/dinner. Apparently it's also fit for breakfast outings. Girl. Now we know who put the "bra out" era into motion. 5) Mariah tells Mishka she wants to talk about that scandalous photo she posted and tells her she's not mad but she wants to see pictures before they go up. Mishka keeps arguing that there is nothing wrong with it because Mariah looks great in it and her ass looks in great shape and it's a great photo so she doesn't understand why Mariah would want to keep it to herself and not share it. Mariah says everyone is having a drama fit over it, Mishka still keeps arguing there is nothing wrong with it and that it's a great photo and keeps buttering Mariah up, that works pretty well on Mariah and so Mariah doesn't say anything more. 6) Tanaka is out and about in Paris with Mariah and her entourage and he's in a robe. She's buying clothes for Tanaka and fixing his dress. "Mariah is a tough woman that I see myself with" - Drama-naka. Go home boy. He also does not look happy seeing Mariah in that wedding dress 7) Mariah and Monroe both look gorgeous in the wedding ensembles. The dress is so gorgeous, I can't get over it. 8) Stella comes yelling at Anthony because the ass picture has gone "viral" and that's a good thing so Anthony has to go tell Mariah that. Stella thinks Anthony shouldn't question her judgement and that since Time magazine did an article (25 reasons why Mariah's insta is better than yours), so that means Mishka is doing a great job. Mariah also agrees with Stella and asks Anthony why is he always messing with other people's kids and that she was right to hire Mishka? (Playfully.) I'm here thinking like it's fine because it went viral? M is this for real? Is this what it has come down to? 9) It's Stella's birthday, James is here too. 10) Prince death news. Stella says they have a show to start but at the moment Mariah can't stop crying. Mariah comes on stage, talks about Prince and holds a moment of silence for him. 11) Vodka launch party. James actually looks a lot better on video. He seems sweet too, Mariah thanks him for coming to the show and says she's sorry she was such a mess on the show because of Prince's death. James assures her she wasn't and that she was fabulous and blew everyone away. She then says she wanted to dedicate "Hero" to him but thought it was appropriate to do it for Prince. James says "You did it for me before, darling you never have to do it for me again." Mariah then tells him he's a great person and that no one ever tells him that enough but he's a f**king great person haha. Drama-naka is out there throwing sad looks. 12) I can't with these people using "Camouflage" for Bryan two episodes in a row. Haha, "Camouflage" plays when Bryan is crying or upset about Mariah. I don't think that's necessarily bad, a lot of A-list celebs do that, plus this girl is Antonio Banderas's daughter. Or do you mean she should actually be on rest instead of over working herself? In that case I agree, she really needs to take some time off to rest. Or are you talking about her voice here? Those were definitely some bad vocal moments, especially "My All". I hope she is not ignoring her instrument. Her voice is a gift and she seems to have forgotten how she once talked about losing it because of smoking and how she prayed and prayed to get it back promising she'll give up smoking and then she got it back. Mind you at the beginning they started with how Tanaka is the one crushing then slowly it has turned to "both parties are interested" scenario with even Mariah hinting at it on the show. I don't get how she thinks a possible cheating story line can help her image. If she is trying to play the "James was never there" card, it won't work, because you could have called off the engagement but you didn't instead James called it off. So there is no way she is coming out of this looking good. I don't get how she even approved of this. Nothing really adds up anymore. It's like they do stuff on a whim and then just get on with the flow whether it makes sense or not. MW, to me, is a huge disappointment. It had the potential to really turn things around for Mariah, instead we get this messy, scripted, drama with scenes that look like they have been copy pasted as a montage. The possibility of a re-shot finale is just frustrating. It's evident from the show that a lot of the scenes are re-shot. And yet it's a docu-series, not a reality show. And like Edward has so kindly explained to you before, I have had it as my display picture more than once. Can't help it if your short term memory keeps forgetting or you pretend to forget just like you always "forget" whether I am a girl or guy even though I told you and many others told you the same thing. And nope if Ed Sheeran would have said something that made sense without making assumptions, I wouldn't shut his opinion down either. Why so pressed dahlin'? And are you really going to compare her lip syncing whistles at a television studio set on Graham Norton to my suggestion that she "possibly" would whistle over them for "more impact" at a huge place like Times Square? Sir have you been to Times Square and seen how noisy it is? It's not far fetched to assume that she would whistle over them for more impact. Plus what I said was a "suggestion", I don't pretend to pass my opinions as facts like you do. What is your main problem really? There is no doubt she was going to sing the rest of the song completely live because the lead vocals were missing completely, so why are you suddenly attacking her for having the whistles present? As for Mel B, I won't even bother to argue with you on that, she is the most irrelevant Spice Girl and now you can go play with your Spice Girl dolls since you are so upset. He also explained what many people were questioning that why didn't see just wing it, Ed explained that it would not be in sync with the audio played and that would make it sound even worse so not singing was really her only option. I'm glad they asked Ed this question because his fans are obviously a lot of young people (along with older people), and these young people are usually behind the memes and twitter jokes. So now that they'll hear what Mariah actually suffered from an artist they know and listen to, they'll believe her. I'll say this though, if Mariah's image was a little softer and a little more down to earth, people wouldn't go after her as much. Like the more they think she's full of herself (which she is not, but people don't understand the diva act), the more people try to tear her down. Like when Adele messed up at the Grammy's (was it the Grammy's?) no one dragged her, in fact people sympathized with her (not talking about celebs, but the GP) because people relate to her. I'm not saying Mariah should be like Adele, she doesn't need to, Mariah herself had a very down to earth and vulnerable image before. Simply because in the first episode (or second) they had that whole scene with Tanaka in her dressing room trying to pass it off as the SSF tour but in reality it was shot just months ago. Then the scenes they show in the "still to come" part after the show has that beach scene, which looks like it's from the those infamous Hawaii beach frolicking pictures were taking. So there is no doubt they edited a lot of crap. I also want to know why Tanaka was at the dress fitting? Shouldn't it just be really close people (in Mariah's case that's Stella and Mishka) and maybe your assistant? Why would you feel the need to bring your back up dancer along? There is absolutely no line drawn between Mariah's professional and personal life and that's a mature problem. She tends to surround herself with people on her payroll, people who'll never be completely honest with her. Anyways that dress was gorgeous though, everything from the design, the exquisite embroidery/embellishment, the lovely soft dusty pink color, the fit, the cut. Everything was perfect. Mariah would look so beautiful in it. Monroe was also looking so gorgeous in the matching dress. She'll grow up to be a stunner like her mommy. (Friday 13 January 2017; 6:31)

This is something an established artist wouldn't need to keep saying because people already know that, only wanna be up and coming people would do something immature like that. Mariah has never spoken about herself like that, there were a lot of other big celebs there and it's disrespectful to them even if they are not bigger than Mariah. Regardless, I wouldn't blame her if she even thought of just lipping it because she didn't want to risk it on live TV. I mean there is only so many times you can come here and only have "you are a hater" as your only argument. Then there are the other locos who will make multiple accounts to have a conversation with themselves all the while blaming others of faking multiple accounts. Also the level of their maturity shows when they say they wish Mariah keeps Stella just because it pisses some people off, it's like it doesn't matter to them that Stella is dragging Mariah's image through the mud, but nope let's just keep her because she provokes the "haters". As for Stella's latest comments, as hard as it for me to believe that Mariah is allowing such foul mouthed rants when all her life she has always been subtle with her clap backs and never resorted to cursing, I have to unfortunately accept this is the new Mariah now. The rate at which Stella is going, I won't be surprised if pretty soon she'll claim to the press she resurrected Mariah's career or heck she "made" Mariah Carey who she is, all the while whispering "you're the best, you're a superstar, you're beautiful" in Mariah's ears.
