Me. I Am Mariah (45,655) by Billy from Greece I just wanted to put out there that this album has been my saving grace these past couple of months. I devotedly listen to it, step by step, every single time I put it in my cd-player (yes, they still exist). It's such a gorgeous piece of work, such a true representation of Mariah the artist. Have you noticed that in most tracks Mariah does all the vocals (including backgrounds)? It's pure Mariah from start to finish. I somehow don't want to tell too much about the album, I don't know why. I feel too connected to it. And yes, "Cry." is everything, and by that I mean e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. As I stated in one of my posts, I would love to hear the songs that didn't make the album. I forgot "Heart", "This cannot be love" and "I'll still be around". Even if a re release happens, I'll still be interested if it's new music. I think Mariah most likely did save some of those tracks for the next album. Divorce storm news not so news again? (45,653) by May from Denmark First Shelly, just speak your mind, your opinions are yours and everybody is entitled to it. I think you got to understand tho that this is internet and everything we say is written in text, so nobody can see faces or hear tones of voice, etc, and sometimes some people might take things personal or whatever, or sometimes, just be plain rude because you are not there to smack their faces haha. About the divorce thing. They bought the Bel Air house in 2009, much before MC was even pregnant. The place was more like a "love nest", holidays place to pass the time, etc. When the babies arrived I guess it became more like a home as they ended up staying there. Then the rumors of separation came when Nick got ill. It was said that Mariah really wanted him to quit working and just spend family time, recover good and take care of his health, etc. He didn't listen and kept on, he prolly took a week free. Then Mariah told in an interview how she "spent the whole pregnancy alone", a fan asked and she replied "I had preeclampsia, I had gestational diabetes, a really difficult pregnancy and I was alone most of the time". Then again in 2013 rumors of definite distance came, and early in 2014 they placed their home crib in Bel Air for sell but pulled it off after some days. Now they did sell their house and the whole divorce rumors are back. They spent almost half a year in 2013 separated doing different things (according to stalking paparazzi). So yes, you shouldn't feel the need to say what you think people want. You seem like a very sweet person and it's evident you love Mariah, that's all that matters. We sometimes criticize our loved ones not out of hatred but because we want the best for them, we want them to get a reality check so it's completely fine if you find faults in Mariah, she is human too. Nobody is flawless. At the same time it's fine for you to keep a positive attitude. Basically what I want to say is, don't listen to others. You should be free to express whatever opinions you have. May and Nick (45,650) by Lynn from USA May, I don't see your comments as an attack on me because that is your opinion and you really didn't say anything that offended me. I think you should be able to voice your opinions without others getting upset; that's why I love this forum. I also agree with some of the things that you said. However, I was trying to say that Mariah is not the only person with feelings in that marriage. It's not always about her. It takes two to make a marriage work. I believe he loves her for who she is and vice versa. None of us really know what is going on, just the two of them. Although, we have our own speculations, I hope whatever is going on with them, if anything, can be worked out. (Monday 28 July 2014; 21:40)

She did seem upset on the Valentine's Day interview. He said, "Valentine's Day starts now" when asked about their V-Day plans and she responded by saying, "Valentine's Day started this morning." Then in a different interview she said she didn't know where her husband was going to be on Valentine's Day or something. I just want her to be happy. (Monday 28 July 2014; 21:13)

At first I was just saying whatever was on my mind and some of it was critical but some people on here didn't like that. Re Lynn about Nick (45,641) by May from Denmark While I agree that she has said some goofy things about him as well, both sides have had their funny tolls. Whoreally cares what she wears? He is her husband, not her owner, she is not his property because she is not a thing. She can dress however she wants wherever she goes. And Nick shouldn't sigh a peep, because he knew how she was before and after being together. Really. Not trying to attack you, just not agreeing with part of your comment. On the other hand, we don't know how people are behind doors, it's true. But I never understood why Mariah and Nick were together, I often thought it was cause she probably enjoyed his childish side, because they always seem to disagree about everything. In interviews of them together you can see Mariah rolling her eyes when he says something she doesn't agree, or him shaking his head in a "no no no". Maybe they finally realized the "honeymoon" stage is done and they are moving into the next one? Wouldn't know. They don't seem to spend much time together lately, I know he is into this tv show all the time where he does challenges or something, haven't looked at it. (Monday 28 July 2014; 17:24)

That day, she was calling him "the abandoner". He was faded as always, focused in his profesional plans and thirsty for a dream and celebrity. He loves girls, he's a player and she's extremely insecure. That's not a good mix. You know they didn't renewed their vows last april 30th. They just shared the day together because that same day is their twin's birthday. Nick has devotion for Mariah and she is the love of his life. He still can't believe how he managed to marry Mariah Carey and have twins with her. That's his dream come true. She was his crush and he still idolize her and her lifestyle. Mariah doesn't want to have a bad relationship with him or make a public divorce announcement because of their twins. She doesn't want her kids grow without that family union feeling but she is fed up of Nick. He's a player and he knew how to make it look good but not anymore. They have sold their Bel-Air crib and they are not making public appearances anymore. Maybe that interview in MTV about You're Mine (Eternal) video was the last one together. Who knows if Mariah is really dating "The Rock" now or it was just a marketing strategy to promote her friend Brett Ratner's new movie? (Monday 28 July 2014; 13:13)

It's great that you choose to repress the bad and express the good, which always sounds easier than done. I should know, because if you read through all my posts, until about a month ago, I used to be super defensive of Mariah as well. I also didn't want a negative atmosphere on this board. But I realized that this is the internet. Relative anonymity pretty much grants anyone the chance to be meaner than they actually are or would ever want to be. People will always find something criticize, even on a fansite. In a perfect world, there will be none of this crap. But hey, like I said before, all of us here may be fans of varying degrees of devotion, but I have faith that everyone, even the most critical and cynical won't talk smack just for the heck of it. Deep down, underneath all the harsh words, is good intent. Not gonna lie though, it does feel like a roast up in here at times. But fans do have different ways of expressing their love for Mariah, and some can be way too tough at it. I gets upsetting, but until they cross the line, I'll respect that. If you go through all of my posts, I do my best to balance my critical moments with positive ones. But right now, to you I'm probably just someone who "called" Mariah a bitch. That's fine. It's fair. It's human nature to be drawn to what's negative. In the context of this messageboard, we have no control over what people will say, but what we can somehow control is the extent of how their statements can affect us. I choose to see the good over the bad. It's not gonna be easy, but I'll try my hardest to stick to it. And if the good isn't there, I'll look for it. It has to be somewhere. After viewing pictures on another Mariah fan site, she's clearly wearing her wedding band along with her butterfly ring at the Hercules premiere. Nick, Nick, Nick (45,633) by Lynn from USA Lets flip the switch for a moment. How do we know how Mariah treats him? No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors. Does she really respect Nick? She has made some silly comments about him as well. When is the last time she publicly supported one of his many projects? He seems to appear at more of her functions than she at his. How does it make him feel to see his wife come out to support Brett Ratner's movie and not even mention his on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram? How does he feel about her hanging out with Dwayne Johnson at the after party? How does it make him feel when he sees Mariah in the recording studio with low cut shirts and tight dresses on around other male rappers/singers? What about posing in the bathtub or posting pictures of herself in bikinis? How does he feel about her not wearing her ring when he wears his? I love them both, but some people seem to think that Mariah is the only one with feelings in their relationship. (Monday 28 July 2014; 3:44)

New album or re-release? (45,632) by 123 from USA So Mariah just posted a pic from the Bahamas just having worked with Big Jim Wright. New music seems to be on the way, but I'm wondering will it be a re-release or a new album. Her hinting towards a tour makes me believe it might be a re-release but her silence towards the current project and single might suggest differently. What does everyone else think? Next album (45,631) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't think we'll need to wait long for the next album to drop. I have a strong feeling she'll release it next year to mark her 25th year in the business. It's a great opportunity and will give her the chance to quickly get people's mind off the disaster (that is Chanteuse) by ensuring the next one becomes a success. Although it seems like it's all over for Chanteuse, I still hope there is something more to come. Atleast the video for YDKWTD. (Monday 28 July 2014; 0:20)

Nick (45,630) by Darryle from USA Why are people so quick to put Nick down? Yes he has made mistakes like talking about their sex life which is a no no but other than that there isn't any reason. In the booty video I don't think he chose Nicki Minaj to spite Mariah. He probably just thought "Who has the biggest butt?" It would've been cute had he said Mariah but not true. A brick wall has more booty than Mariah. If it was breast week Mariah would have won hands down but it wasn't. It's not like he's saying I'm going to dump Mariah and go with Nicki. He's just saying she has a big butt at least Mariah's butt is real. As for her career Nick didn't ruin Mariah's. Nick has very little input in her career. He suggested redoing covers for MOAIA and he's directed videos but Mariah if she wanted to could say no I don't want Nick doing this or that. Touring (45,629) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines A big reason why Madonna still manages to sell 2 million copies of her recent releases worldwide is because of her constant touring. Say what you want about the woman, but it's just admirable how she never tires of performing, especially at her age. She attacks every album promotion with such gusto as if it was her debut all over again. That's why I think it's great that Mariah's going back on the road. It's exactly what she needs to reconnect with her core fanbase, especially since apparently there are only around 60,000 left in the US (maybe even less, as hardcore fans might've bought 3-5 copies each of MIAMTEC). In some ways, touring brings her back to earth. It serves as a humbling experience for her, humanizing her and stripping her off of her larger than life persona. Plus, I've always believed that infrequent singing can be just as detrimental to one's singing ability as vocal exhaustion. As Janet said once, "You gotta keep the chords going." Now I don't know how often Mariah sings in her normal everyday life, especially now with her family around, but I believe it's safe to assume that the last time she really sang for an extended period was her last tour. As long as she rests well and drinks less, she'll be fine. It's a solid plan, she'll get reunited with her fans plus her voice will be all warmed-up for her next album, which I strongly feel will arrive within the next 2 years (fingers crossed). Nick is thirsty to say the least (45,628) by Daydream327 from USA Okay, so before some try to attack me for the title, I use to love Nick and respect him greatly as Mariah's husband until just recently. I just started to realize how really immature and "thirsty" he truly is. So I was browsing on YT and came across the video above. (If it's not working type in "Nick Cannon talks Nicki Minaj's bodacious ackside" on Youtube.) And was appalled by what came out of his mouth. Now I know he's said some pretty disrespectful things recently but this one takes the cake. he was asked who had the best butt in Hollywood. Firstly, for him to even answer that question was disrespectful and to say Nicki Minaj at that, it's like a blatant diss to his wife. Smh he acts as if he's a child that can't keep his mouth shut. Entertainment or not he is a disrespectful immature little boy and is not a good look for Mariah. Believe it or not he is apart of the reason why Mariah's career has taken a huge dip. I honestly believe most of the heartbreaking songs on MIAM are indeed about him. She has said Nick does have a different side to him that the world doesn't see. Iv'e also noticed Mariah doesn't even seem interested in him anymore nor has she been wearing her ring, dembabies seem to be what makes her the happiest. This is all a shame because I use to think he was so great for Mariah, but now I see he isn't all what he puts out to be. (Sunday 27 July 2014; 19:42)
