Since you asked: Alexis (55,136) by nikki from usa The Wind was actually supposed to be the first single and album title for Emotions according to an article I read in the 90's. Mottola liked Emotions better and thought it was a hit track so both were switched to that. The Wind is so unconventional as pop music goes, it would have been interesting to see how the public responded to it. I concur with Mimi about Rainbow. Mariah saw a double rainbow. According to Mariah, Heartbreaker was originally intended for Glitter. Rainbow wasn't supposed to happen. She thought HB was such a fresh and "now" track she felt she needed to get it out right then. Lyrically, it doesn't work in the same context for it to be a reference to the song "The Impossible" from Memoirs, and Mariah has never said it is a reference to that song, so I'm not sure where you got that from. "The Impossible Dream" is a very uplifting song about fighting for what you believe in, and given the context of Money being about love being stronger than material items, it makes more sense that's she is singing about her dreaming that her and Nick are together fighting for what they believe in and fighting together against their enemies etc. (Wednesday 8 July 2015; 21:44)

But the lyrics kinda do go with his lifestyle. But the sequence of where she put it in the album could also suggest otherwise don't you think? I always thought the song was referring to the high point of Mariah and Nick's marriage. The melody to me seems like "the good old days". She was the one who kept saying Mariah should get a billionaire businessman outside of Hollywood then when Mariah actually got one (I am not saying MC is with JP for the money, she has plenty to last her a couple of lifetimes) anyways so when MC gets one, Wendy's jealousy reaches a new height and her cattiness goes off the roof. She probably thought MC will never get another man. Now she is playing cheap cards like displaying James' picture and pausing for effect, encouraging people to laugh at him because he isn't the most good looking man on Earth. So shallow. Like I said before she is still at high school level where the main priority in dating is to land someone hot and people do everything to make their ex jealous. She tries to pretend that she is fair with her opinions but please Wendy we all can see you getting almost green with envy. She's an international superstar, so she knows she's been photographed, so there will always be a bit of "staging" in everything she does. I don't think Mariah would ever use a personal relationship for publicity. We all know she had very few relationships and that after Louis [sic] Miguel, she spent a long long long time - and I would say years and years - as a single woman, rumors aside (that Mark Sudack thing was dubious, it was never ever confirmed). She's very protective of herself, but when she's in love, she's not afraid to show it. We could see pictures of her with Louis [sic] Miguel and Nick Cannon all the time too. I think it's very interesting and refreshing that she's with an older man, more mature and being treated as a real grown woman. Enough with the 12-year-girl act of the 00's. I like that MC's team is controlling the press but honestly everything is good in small doses. They were overdoing it, releasing personal pictures as "paparazzi shots" and what not. Anyways hoping that from now we'll get back to getting stories about her incredible performances and hopefully get more insight into some of the side projects she has been dropping hints about. I really do hope it's not for publicity and she is just having fun. I know there were reports that Packer is opening a casino in Vegas soon. I just hope he didn't decide to be "seen" with Mariah in between her Vegas shows to get his name out there now that she will back performing there. I also hope MC is not along for the ride and in on it for whatever reasons either. We have to think no. But I was going to post yesterday about the crazy posts Nick has been putting up lately. Seems like ever since Mariah was seen with JP. I don't know what happened with MC and NC and I don't want to speculate that everything he posts is Mariah related but it sure can be looked at that way. Not sure what he is insinuating with all of these or if he is upset she has moved on. All I know is if he did do her wrong and she is seeing all that he is posting, she has to get a little chuckle out of this now. ***off singing Someday.
