Re: Marriage and faith (64,270) (64,281) by Todd from Melbourne, Australia
It's a common (and dangerous) misconception that marriage has anything to do with God. The two are completely independent of each other, and history shows that. Either way, Mariah is a grown woman that obviously likes marriage and or weddings. Like Aaliyah says, "if at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again".

Who in the hell thought this pic was ok to post? Before all the "It's her life, she's just having fun" brigade come out, please understand I'm all for her having fun, but a lot of these "fun" pics should be kept private. Especially when you spent a majority of your career complaining about people not respecting you. It would be very hypocritical of me to not admit that I'm guilty of posting quite a few pics of me and my splashes (I enjoy my splashes lol), but I don't have the whole world in my life looking for reasons to shame me and unlike her I'm able to get rid of the evidence after I sober up without a million people reposting screen shots. *shrugs*

Her nephew does seem the narcissist and he may be a yes person, but it seems that Mariah requires that if one is to be around her for long. He seems to be the one constant from her family though. They grew up together and she has taken care of him and put him through school. He seems to be in on the industry jokes and stunts. Who knows what's really going on, let's hope she makes it out fine. In other news, James just hired some chick for his firm who looks just like his typical wife, brunette, tall and thin. Perhaps the plot thickens. Lol.

Sorry but I know who you are and we both know the "faith" thing was always PR. Other than that smoke screen, you were just too spot on. The Shawn thing put the nail in the coffin, I know who you are lol.

Zarina (64,272) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I keep hearing about how Zarina (Mariah's assistant/part of her management and a relative of Stella's) said that Stella made Mariah relevant again. I don't know the exact quote (if anyone knows please share it here). I just want to know if Mariah is aware that her own entourage implied that she was irrelevant before Stella arrived. Are we going to hear next that Stella taught Mariah how to sing?

The many faces of Mariah (64,271) by Natalia from Italy
What is the deal with Mariah's face? [censored] She doesn't even look like the banner of this message board anymore. [censored] Am I wrong about this? Does anyone else thinks her face looks way different than it used to? Quite strange indeed.

Marriage and faith (64,270) by Butterfly from
Tommy: First love
Nick: Marriage and kids
I get why she married Tommy and Nick. After two failed ones how can she do it again? Especially with her faith in God. She's taking marriage as a joke now. I'm afraid nobody in her life wants to save her. It will end bad. Tommy 2.0 but worse. With Michael Richardson, Rachel, Louise Mcnally, Morgan all gone I don't expect anybody in her life to step forward and tell her the truth. Stella and her crew are more worried about their luxury lifestyle and checks. Shawn her nephew seems like a narcissist and yes person.

Ample cleavage madness (64,269) by Natalia from Italy
How many news stories have been written about this topic? I find it quite ludicrous. Is this really news? Is her cleavage really that ample? Is she paying for them to print these news stories? She seems to be quite obsessed with her boobs.

A little message to make everyone's day (64,268) by Tevin from USA
So I was downloading music online yesterday legally, and I decided to download JLo's old song "Love don't cost a thing". Well it's funny because for some reason the title and the single showed up as unarmed lol. Guess my computer "does not know her as well". Have a great day people.

It's easy to pick out a word from my messages and then say "hardly not". It's another thing to back up your opinions with your own points. I am all ears and open to different opinions. Case in point: I had blamed Nick a lot in the past but then I heard Licia's views and I tried looking at it from the other side. I may still don't completely agree with her about the Nick situation but hey at least when she wanted to disagree, she backed it up with valid points.

Amen to that my friend. I too am eagerly waiting for Mariah to snap out of it and hopefully release some new music too. I love Mariah and her music has never disappointed me, I just hate to see her self destruct like this.

Re: When is enough really enough? (64,259) (64,262) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
First right off the bat I'll say that Mariah has always tried to act like she young and all. This woman has been saying she's eternally 12 for years now. So no, she didn't act/dress young for Nick. She said two of the things that she loves so much about Nick and that helped them connect were him being spiritual/religious and that they were both kids at heart. Now moving on to the claim that Nick broke her down emotionally, in your previous post you said Nick ruined her image when he "met her". Now you are saying he ruined her emotionally which led her to hint at him being "unfaithful". While I too feel that maybe Nick cheated on her or she felt he did (which was the final straw because they were already drifting apart due to him being away most of the time), this happened post 2013. They were married from 2008 to 2013. Five years in which no one can tell me Mariah didn't look extremely happy and in love. The only instance when she looked a little unhappy (at least to us) was during the Barbara interview. But hey which married couple doesn't fight? My point is, yes, Nick may have cheated but he didn't break Mariah down emotionally when he met her. They had quite a few happy years together and during those years Mariah's image was not affected. She seemed like she broke down in 2014. That was around the end of her marriage and obviously it's hard on anyone to have a broken heart. Plus you said Mariah was uninspired during this duration, how do you explain Memoirs being her most critically acclaimed album and MIAM also being praised widely by both critics and fans alike? If you mean she was uninspired because her album tanked, it was not the material that was the problem. It was the promotion. We (including myself) tend to blame everything on everyone but Mariah, and that's not always true. I have blamed Nick before, I always blamed others too, but truth is if we can say Mariah is responsible for the good things in her career (that she knows exactly what she wants) we have to accept that maybe Mariah is also partially responsible for the bad things that happen too.

You don't know what happened. Perhaps she hurt him. It's all speculation. James is likely the wolf to worry about for sure, right here and now. Follow the money especially in that industry. Gambling, Scientology, lots of money make for a really deep rabbit hole for Mariah to get lost in.

Re: When is enough really enough? (64,256) (64,260) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Mimi L so true. I don't want anything similiar to Katrashian. At the beginning Mariah was just sweet, humble and a bit shy. Then she became a princess and the biggest female smash-hit superstar. Then the diva, she showed humor but was always classy. In the latest pics it's hard to recognize her. It must be the "bad" influence but I'm not sure if it's only because of her strange management. Maybe it's just a phase and we will get "our" Mariah back. I'd love to hear new music.

Re: When is enough really enough? (64,255) (64,259) by Lance from Jones
Nick ruined it for her by breaking her down emotionally. Mariah really loved him and did not judge him at all. Something big must have happened for them to divorce. Usually when couples have kids then they try to work it out but to divorce means something really big has happened. Mariah hinted about cheating in her live performance and that could be a possibility. Nick was supposed to be her saviour after the TM marriage. "You supposed to save me my sweet baby but you faded away. But you gona know how this feels even if this the last thing I ever do." Those lyrics are deep and she was obviously hinting yet not giving it away. Even "Art of letting go" and "Infinity" had strong messages through the lyrics. She trusted him and something went wrong. She must have been really hurt by whatever because to have kids with someone and divorce is saying alot. Whatever pain he put her through resulted in her not being productive and focused. Instead, she tried to compensate by acting like a teenager, trying to look young and feel special because whatever Nick did was not making her happy. Instead of trying to prove herself musically, she focused her energy on trying prove that she is hot and still young. She could not see by doing this it made her look like a sheep in lamb's clothing. When the person you love hurts you then some people cannot handle the emotions and lose focus on their work and creativity because they are not happy on an emotional level. This is what Nick did to her.

Re: When is enough really enough? (64,252) (64,257) by RibbonB from USA
Nick gets shoes and suits from designers to wear for free just like many entertainers. That is no big deal. He works hard and gets lots of deals just like Mariah does. Besides the turban, he usually dresses better than Mariah and James combined. Nick is trying to be peaceful in this break up lately, so people should leave him in peace. When he and Mariah were happy he was her biggest champion and cheerleader. Now they both have to little wonders to raise, who I hope wont be terribly affected by all the whirl wind that is M's world. Mariah showed more stability, and comfort while they were happy, at one point she even said Nick was nurturing to her, just like her mother was. My how things have changed. But they usually change again, so there is that.

Re: When is enough really enough? (64,252) (64,256) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I don't think Nick made her image cheap. Nick was a blabber mouth and a little crazy (with him giving out the number and all) but they quickly became termed as a "power couple". Memoirs was one of Mariah's classiest eras. She seemed happy, looked great and dressed fairly well too. If Mariah's image has become cheap, it is recently with all the stunts she and her team are pulling. Her social media has become a joke, her clothes are horrible and vulgar, her interviews don't have any substance. (I mean really this is the best selling music artist and people and all her interviews are just about the size of her ring? How is that different from the Kardashians?) Articles are making fun of her because of this. This is the cheapest her image has ever been.

Re: When is enough really enough? (64,252) (64,255) by Licia from USA
How does Nick get blamed for decisions that Mariah made? Lol. Anyway imo with the exception of the album cover, the Memoirs era turned out to be better image wise than E=MC2 and Nick was around then. She was promoting the album, dressing nicely, and she had a few lucrative side deals. How did he ruin anything for her? Lol.
