Concerned (78,651) by Lara from Middle East Regardless whether her team knew/informed her before or not, I'm concerned with her reaction. She stayed lying, almost frozen, any movement is extremely slow from her. She answered well but her body language was disconnected. Add this to her weight gain, I can't help thinking if she's on medication (more specifically anti-psychotics). If Mariah is also struggling, I wish her well and I need her team to take note from Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato's teams how to handle health/mental issues. (Wednesday 4 October 2017; 18:17)

Although Mariah was put on the spot, she could have then sat herself up, looked a little shocked and asked for the interview to end. It would have been better to have said nothing at all than to have stumbled into Piers Morgan's trap. Hindsight is 20/20 or so they say. When I have read the comments on this interview, it surprised me how not one was about how awful the incident in Las Vegas was, or how Mariah was put on the spot. Instead, the comments were about how awful Mariah looked. As it says in John, chapter 11, verse 35: Jesus wept. (Wednesday 4 October 2017; 10:15)

Mariah was booked. She is a performer who performs in Las Vegas. There is a mass murdering at a music performance in Las Vegas. Of course they'd run with it. What's ridiculous is her cluelessness. A normal person may have covered for themselves with: "I'm here to talk about Christmas shows but from what you've just told me I don't think that would be appropriate. Let's shut this down." Must be some seriously strong meds. But equally ridiculous is how she looks like Jabba the Hutt. "Ohji foojo mohji, Han Solo." Its not like she's doing a sit in with Oprah, she's doing an interview with Piers looking like an idiot lounging on a couch with a freaking Christmas trees. The fact that she's doing that interview is a setup for ridicule. Why not do that interview with Gerardo Rivera while riding a reindeer yeah that'd be fun. If she was sitting upright or standing for the interview it wouldn't have mattered if she didn't know about the shooting prior to the interview because she wouldn't have looked so inappropriate. Re: (78,633) (78,637) by Licia from USA I don't know who's really being truthful in this situation, but because of how crappy Mariah's current team is I take anything that they say with a grain of salt. They never admit to any of their mistakes. It's almost always someone else's fault. Either way the network or her team dropped the ball and put her in a messed up position that she wasn't prepared for. If her team knew before hand they should have said no to them asking her anything about it and canceled the interview. If the network told her team, they should have still verified that it was ok with her beforehand or canceled the interview all together. I doubt that she would have wanted to continue this interview sitting in front of a Christmas tree talking about this tragedy. (Tuesday 3 October 2017; 13:45)

I think this was done on purpose by Pier to put Mariah on the hot seat and in this social media age we live in this would've been New Years Eve all over again had her response been lacking. So unprofessional and distastefully done. She should have been informed maybe during a commercial break or something, not taken unawares like that. Shame on him. In my youth I collected every foreign release I could to make sure I had every remix just in case she ad-libbed a line differently. I downloaded all her concerts from torrent sites to make sure I had every different line. That dried up in later years but the thought of there being unreleased material out there is unbearable.
