Stream and buy (86,022) by T from USA
What we did for Glitter was nothing short of amazing. We can do it again this week for Caution. It's so much fun watching it rise up the charts. I'm going to buy one physical, one digital and stream all week long.

Me too. I bought it at the store in 2001. And my best friend did the same.

Caution (86,020) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
After having the opportunity of previewing four tracks before the release date I was unsure what to expect and I have to say that I am in awe because MC once again shows that her artistry is unmatched she is in a class all by herself. To able to work with some of today's biggest and brightest producers and still create an album that sounds like Mariah but still sounds fresh and current. I wish there was more because MC once again blessed us with a great body of work. [...] Honestly speaking after listening to the album as a whole I can say I all the songs for different reasons. Bravo MC job well done.

Portrait (86,019) by Dennis from Miami, FL
After first few takes, my favorites are Portrait and Giving Me Life. Portraits sounds like a Stevie Wonder cover, I mean it in a good way. It also reminds me a reworked Camouflage – one of her best retrospective ballads. I like #JusticeForGlitter, but what about MIAM? General Public knows about Glitter, and they have no idea how great MIAM was. I believe that should be the next step for us lambily.

Caution (86,018) by Marise from Russia
All songs sound the same to me. I'm tired of this slow motion beat and the same monotonously melody in every song. This nasal whispery vocal scratching on high notes is already annoying. I didn't expect much from this album, but some variety would be appreciated, but no... I'm trying not to feel dissapointment. "Caution" and "With You" are good though and stay in my playlist.

She tweet that the song gave her a nostalgiac feeling of 8th Grade.

Re: One Mo' Gen (86,008) (86,016) by Bill from the UK
Haha. I stayed up to midnight for the album and was up until 1am playing One Mo Gen on repeat. If I didn't have to work today I wouldn't have gone to bed. I played the album again and One Mo Gen got repeated several times on my way into work. Really, really love this one and as much as I also loved The Distance, it got knocked out of pole position straight away.

Re: Glitter #1 (85,993) (86,015) by 123 from USA
I bought Glitter on September 11th along with Jay-Z Blackout and Alicia Keyes Songs in A Minor. It was a weird day because of what happened that morning and I drove around mostly playing Loverboy and If We (should have been a single). I didn't care for the album at all but I actually appreciate it more nowadays. Want You and All My Life have grown on me and even though the ballads are pop leaning because of the character I do like the vocals and lyrics (Reflections being the fav).

Negative experience of Mariah's new album cover (86,013) by Lafa from Sweden
Somehow I withdraw from a complete experience of Mariah's new album, but only when I see the cover. So is Mariah a blue alien?

Sandra Bernhard (86,012) by Andrew from UK
Not really Mariah related but that article is hilarious. "I'm not a lesbian," says Bernhard, "I transcend sexuality." How woke of her. I'm sure she would have said that two years ago before a million and one genders were seemingly discovered. Sandra, not only are you a lesbian, you're one with such little pride that you shower shame upon homosexuals everywhere with your effing stupid nonsense. What a twat. Figuratively, of course. Anyway, in re: Mariah: Portrait is okay.

Giving Me Life (86,011) by Lafa from Sweden
I vote Giving Me Life as the most epic song Mariah and her musicians ever created.

Caution is a solid album (86,010) by Licia from USA
Here's the order I am enjoying Caution.
1. The Distance
2. One Mo Gen (this song is on its way to knocking The Distance from the top spot)
3. 8th Grade (this is just a smooth groove)
4. GTFO
5. Portrait
6. With You
7. Giving Me Life
8. Stay Long Love You
9. Caution (not completely sold on this one)
10. A No No (this one is still a mo, but I don't hate it)

All in all this is a solid album and I am a happy, proud lamb. She did great.

Proceed with Caution (86,009) by Andrew from UK
I wanted to like it. Of course, I did. But what an absolute shockingly boring dull dud of an album. Every song rolls into one long drudgery of a beat. This may be an album but it is not a Mariah Carey album. She doesn't even sing. Even I could sing this record. "Fun" record, William? What is fun about the same slow beat and whispery lyrics over and over again? I understand GTFO and With You and A No No but they needed a variety of beats and harmonies to intersperse them. They didn't get it. This is more disappointing than Memoirs. Where has her confidence gone? Mariah used to make killer albums, and now she fades into nothingness. Shockingly dull.

Re: One Mo' Gen (85,990) (86,008) by Licia from USA
Bill it's like you're my unofficial other half. I love One Mo Gen. If I play it one more time it might just knock The Distance out from my top spot.

Caution (86,007) by Elena from The Netherlands
Very interesting project. Giving me Life is very beautiful and gave me instant The Roof vibes, but without the brilliant poetry. Caution is very beautiful. Both songs are so well produced and my instant favorites to be played on repeat numerous times. The whole album has such a fresh new sound to it, it's amazing. Still, I feel that with these producers and sound she could've gotten more out of most songs. She tends to repeat sentences in the choruses a lot which is a trend in music I'm not so fond of. This only works for a few songs in music in general. It definitely gets you because repeating the same makes it inevitable to make it catchy, so with A No No, With You, GTFO and One Mo Gen I feel the intention to be great is there but she could do better. The melodies are on point, With You seems overproduced and A No No a bit childish in lyrics. The Distance is ok and 8th Grade is so well produced by the genius that is Timbaland, yet I feel MC could've gotten more out of that song. Portraits, a traditional album closer, is fine. I love that MC took a different direction in sound with this project, she just made what she likes regardles of what everyone's expectations are. She's best at playfully creating verses and her signature ad libs and she shows that she still can be unmatched in her own style always challenging herself. The album is an odd move in terms of production, lack of traditional ballads and club bangers and amount of tracks. To come to conclusion; it's a good promising album but with only 10 songs I can't help but feeling left wanting more from where those came from.

Giving Me Life (86,006) by Shezz from Pk
Is giving me life and it's everything. By far the standout track for me. I love the slowed down delivery and general vibe of the song. I have it on repeat and haven't really given the other songs a chance yet.

(86,005) by CHAZ from USA
Ughhh, no #1 Billboard song here. Mediocre. Standouts are Caution and Portrait. Where are the other ballads? Previous album much better, hands down.

My first reaction - Caution (86,004) by Liz Archer from Sweden
Ok, I had my first listen to the new songs. I have to admit I'm slightly disappointed. Something has changed, I'm unsure what it is. It's probably the sound. The first songs she has already released are probably the best songs of the album. The rest isn't a classic "I'm going to listen to this forever" song, which is disappointing. She has been experimenting a bit here but it doesn't stick. It's ok I guess but I don't like the sound. I think she isn't singing in the genre I would have preferred. There is also noticeable change to her voice. It sounds much more strained. I honestly don't want to be hating here but most of the album isn't a sound I enjoy. Portrait and Caution were interesting. There are a few ones that sounds good. I will listen to this a few times more, maybe something will grow on me. I will definitely still listen to the songs like "With you" and such, best songs of the album.

First listen (86,003) by John john from UK
Immediately drawn to 8th Grade and Giving Me Life. Downloaded at 3am and went to work even early so I could listen to it loud on my own. Sounds great.

8th Grade (86,002) by RibbonB from USA
So I love songs 8 and 9. Instantly loved them. Did I miss why 8th Grade is the title? I never hear her even say 8th Grade in the song. It has a great flow. Instantly radio ready and memorable. Song 9 is also a pleasure. It reminds me of the Khalid hit Location, which I also love. Playful and infectious. The early releases already bore me unfortunately. Good luck to Mimi.

Caution is fire (86,001) by Kenny from Canada
Love. Love. Love. Every. Single. Song. From the first track (GTFO) to the last (Portrait). My top 3 are Caution, Giving me Life and Portrait.

Caution era (86,000) by Jono from USA
Is officially upon us. M and her team have done a fantastic job with the promo. Remember, her last studio album's promo consisted of her on snap story riding the L train in an evening gown. I am so proud of her and the great body of works she continues to put out. She has outlasted her peers, and is looking radiant. Happy listening everybody.

Re: Audios to all the songs from Caution (85,988) (85,999) by Lara from Middle East
None are available in my country except "A no no". I was able to hear it through the Anghami application. "Giving me life" is really something.

Re: Caution (85,992) (85,998) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
What? Stay Long Love You is my favorite from the 6 tracks we didn't hear before. It does remind me of "To The Floor" though and I like that song too.
