Article: Mariah Carey unveils "Here for It All" track list (110,766) by Lambi from USA
They better give Kehlani credit. Honestly her verse was fire. Arguably may be better than MC's. I actually see why Mariah hand picked her for this record. She was exactly who was needed, and the Afrobeat touch of Shenseea is just chef's kiss. I found myself playing this song everyday. I've landed to loving it and see why it is everyone's favorite. It's a grower. We just need the girlies to start dancing on TikTok. I foresee a viral dancing trend.

"Mirage" (110,763) by Lambi from USA
"Maybe she knows the songs aren't all that." That seems accurate to me as well. She's mentioned that Sugar Sweet was everyone's favorite. This was supposed to be the peak. I hope I'm proven wrong though, and there is actually a song close to a WBT moment. It doesn't have to be as successful commercially, but it can be on par melodically.

Sugar Sweet is the stronger of the two, but I feel like Mariah insisted Type Dangerous be the fire starter just because she loves the sample so much. I think she also has a say on which single is going out, hence "releasing music on her own terms".

Maybe she did save the best for last, and this 3rd single actually will be the one to swing home the trophy. In the last few weeks before release, she could unleash something that becomes a major moment, fully maximizing the promo. I have a feeling it's the .Paak duet, which she's said she thinks is "really" good.

Anyway, I haven't felt this excited about an era in a while. Successful or not, Mariah is back in the spotlight on major award shows. Here's the top 5 ranked by prestige and ratings:

1. Grammys - She kind of got honored here not too long ago. "Is this a Grammy?" after leaving Stevie hanging LMAO. That's why I think she's now confident to go for the main stage next year. I hate that she got honored in a non-televised backstage moment.

2. VMAs - She will be a shining star on this year's show.

3. Billboard Music Awards - Already honored above and beyond.

4. AMAs - I don't know if she'll ever be back. It's Dick Clark Productions, and we ain't really forget NYE. I know she went back the next year, but that was solely for rebuttal.

5. iHeart Radio - She's been honored here. Done and done.

Let's try to revel in all these moments with Mi.

MC the GOAT (110,755) by Lambi from USA
The Academy hates Mariah. It's very apparent Tommy infiltrated the board in '96 and wanted to humiliate the crap out of her since they were on the brink of divorce. They still objectively did her dirty during TEOM when she blatantly deserved AOTY and refused to give it to her.

Though the Grammys are desperate to save their credibility now, they thought making Beyoncé the most awarded in 2023 would reel in ratings, but it backfired. The general public's sentiment was, "Nah, she good, but she not that good." It worked for them having her until around 2015 imho, but everyone truly woke up after she won Best Country Album last year. Everyone thought, "Okay, so sponsored and paid by Jay-Z," which we all know is true. It's so clearly her retaliation for being snubbed in the Country Music Awards, so they called their friends up in the Grammy board. It was a pathetic move though, it's sadly backfired and now most of America think the Grammys is a joke. It turns out all the small towns throughout the nation know the authentic country sound and America is not just LA and New York.

Anywho, MC did surprisingly get an invite to the Grammys to present for Miley, so maybe they've cooled off on Mariah and are finally ready to develop a decent relationship with her. "Actually, so people think we're rigged and we need real talent again. You down?"

Unexpected allies (110,749) by Lambi from USA
I love it. Taylor was cheering for Mariah during her emotional first Icon Award. Mariah responded, "You don't see people from the stage, but I love her, she was always so sweet from the first time I met her." If Mariah says she's sweet and got manners (unlike Christina) then we love her. We stan another respectful songwriting queen.

MC the GOAT (110,738) by Lambi from USA
I can't. Mariah looks absolutely stunning in her recent Instagram reel talking about the Mi era. I love how Kristofer does her lips and how she didn't get fillers like everyone else in Hollywood. She simply sculpts them with makeup in such a brilliant way. Mariah has found her signature looks and is unapologetically maximizing them. She is just "making the most of life". She truly is doing what ever the hell she wants and I aspire to be that festive.

"I'm about to reach a new beauty peak, darlings: body snatched, face snatched, a VMA moment, a BET Icon Award moment, maybe a couple of number ones, and beat The Beatles. A Grammy moment to remind everyone who the **** I am." She understands bipolar disorder is bleak, so she's choosing to experience all the highs to their fullest extent.

"I don't care. Buy the award. We're wealthy and fabulous. Buy the finest diamonds, it doesn't matter. Don't be bleak. I'm the queen of Christmas. I'm rich and sexy as hell darlings." I love how she's arrived at the point where she knows she is in fact the best, a cut above everyone, and is now getting whatever the **** she wants. Why? Because she simply can.

I am in the minority on Caution (110,728) by Lambi from USA
You are probably also a minority in I Wish You Well. This is arguably one of Mariah's best song. An ode to Tommy and her family who almost killed her spirit. This song showcases how Mariah really had to cling on to the word to save her sanity and arrive to forgiveness. "They have greatly oppressed me from my youth but they have not gained victory over me, in Jesus name, I wish you well" will forever be one of Mariah's most profound lyric about her life. She sampled the word of God. I will say The Art Of Letting Go may be Mariah's worst introspective song. It's unorganized and have no real melody structure. Quite literally a "rant".

Yup. Mariah literally sashayed into the Gamma board meeting, tossed her hair, and said this verbatim: "Can we have an MTV Video Music Award moment and a Grammy moment? Oh, and a Brazilian lambily moment? Maybe another TikTok viral moment? Please thank you darlings."

Try it on me (110,646) by Lambi from USA
It seems like a catchphrase that stylists probably used when going all in on a look. When a look is pow after putting it on, Mariah will say, "Try it on me." as an expression of excitement. Kind of like saying "hell yeah". It does sound like an inside joke between her stylists though. Or maybe it's from a movie. Anyway it sounds hilarious to me, I can picture her stylist contemplating about a look and Mariah going, "B*tch try it on me..." just for laugh, on that same diva voice.

MTV win (110,633) by Lambi from USA
Okay so I was correct in my assessment here. I connected the dots. Allure release where she breaks down her music videos is basically signaling that she will win an award. Thank you Gamma. Hope she maximizes this big TV moment. Anyway my faves are:
• Honey
• Heartbreaker
• Boy (I Need You)
• Shake It Off
• I'll Be Loving U Long Time
• Type: Dangerous

We can finally set aside Mad TV's, "Another super whack Mariah video."

It’s tiiiime... to let the children know (110,588) by Lambi from USA
It's not too much. It's great that lambs are trying to relate and connect the dots. Bipolar disorder is Mariah's greatest demon, the one she's been battling almost her entire life. As her extended family, it's important for us to be educated about it so we can support her in that fight. Someone on her team could be reading these.

It’s tiiiime... to let the children know (110,566) by Lambi from USA
This is the same exact medication Britney Spears takes. Another tidbit: lithium requires regular blood monitoring to stay within a safe range. Too little = ineffective. Too much = toxic. Lithium is also risky for diabetics. If the kidneys are already under stress from diabetes, lithium can increase the risk of kidney dysfunction or even failure. Mariah needs to actually pay attention to her dosage.

She probably had a breakdown around the time Pat and Alison passed. A legitimate mental collapse that's hard to navigate. The sadness in her eyes on St. Patrick's Day said it all.

Let's keep Mariah in our prayers, lambs. It really is the elephant in the room that she's suffering from serious, debilitating health issues. I pray she receives the wisdom to listen to her body. I also pray the Holy Spirit warns her if any doctors are suspicious. It's not hard for them to be paid off by elites.

Nonetheless, I'm elated she's still here, always working on something. She truly is doing the best with what she's got.

Marketing flop (110,519) by Lambi from USA
Yup. They really thought they were cooking including MrBeast on the video. It's very obviously a clout move and he left it in the dust. I'm sure she had the money to be like, "3 instagram post, here's $150k." but she didn't. However, I'm lowkey glad MrBeast didn't fully associate himself with this song because it's not Mariah's best work.

This strategy was giving when Jermaine thought it was a good idea to exclusively release The Art Of Letting Go on Facebook because Mariah had 14 million followers at the time, only for that not to translate into sales at all. It flopped so badly.

Taylor Swift (110,493) by Lambi from USA
Blow up doll = never ending boob jobs.

Present father = could've protected her from Alison selling her to a pimp, from Tommy's dangerous relationship and the evil of Hollywood.

I'm getting to the nucleus of it. You can all boil it down to a lack of a father's presence. But out of respect for Alfred Roy, I'm sure he had his traumas in the military, which is why a stable household was a challenge. He exited on a peaceful note with MC so they at least both got to have that.

I hope this helps.

Taylor Swift (110,488) by Lambi from USA
I'm so happy to hear that. Blake Lively is despicable. She tried to threaten Taylor Swift by saying, "I'm going to leak ten years of your messages if you don't stand up for me." Taylor is going to flex her empire hard. I've also been following the lawsuit, so knowing that she's preparing to clap back is exciting.

I also became a fan of Scott Swift, her dad, in the process. When he heard about the threats, he immediately gave the information to the opposing team, so now they have evidence of Blake Lively's extortion attempt. I love it.

It made me wish Mariah had a protective father figure like that throughout her life. Maybe she wouldn't be so damaged and wouldn't be the blow-up doll she is today, if she had consistently felt deeply loved by a father since she was a child.

Stay The Night raw (110,485) by Lambi from USA
That is indeed true, that was around the pandemic. She shocked everyone with those beautiful belts. The resonance and the quality were there. But I did ask the same thing during the pandemic because I found her Through The Rain/Make It Happen medley also a little chipmunkey.

How do you belt that beautifully raw and sound rough on record? Could it be the fact that the room she was in, had amazing acoustics? It was open and the mic wasn't too close which avoided distortion. Plus homegirl probably slept 16 hours because that was an absolute great vocal day.

Maybe she just needs to try out different recording techniques. The belts in that clip sounded so naturally beautiful, little bit of polishing, but did not need to be pitched up whatsoever. You can literally take the audio from the clip and make a stripped version and it will sound like a 2008 remix.

I truly believe she still has it. A great vocal day might be incredibly rare because Mariah has a terrible relationship with sleep, it's probably gotten more rare as she ages and as her nodules worsen, but when that once-in-a-blue-moon day comes, Emancipation-riah will be snatching these new pop girlies wigs.

This is also why I believe she refuses to acknowledge the elephant in the room that is her voice change. Because it is there, not by default, but it comes out probably thrice a year.

Here For It All (110,484) by Lambi from USA
Yup and that Allure release where she breaks down her music videos is basically campaign for her to win a VMA. She set up this year to be tremendously hyped, to be in the forefront and to win, which I'm pretty sure what will actually happen with this nomination.

I'm kind of bummed it's through a mediocre song but it is about videos though, not music. She should've gotten it a long time ago with Shake It Off, even as early as Honey, so I'm pretty sure they're like, "Alright, let's just give it to her." Since she's never gotten one before. And with Gamma being a 400 million dollar company. They could easily pull some strings.

Going to enjoy the moment. It's always festive when we see our Mariah on TV. Who knows? Maybe she'll drop the 3rd single then. She may have changed gears real quick when she realizes the "favorites" in the album isn't hitting. I hope someone has told her, "Have you written with Jermaine yet?" Except scratch Jermaine and replace with today's hot new producer, with actual talent, then maybe a new WBT moment will come to fruition.

Here For It All (110,446) by Lambi from USA
I love Mariah but this does sound chipmunkey yet again. The rough thin belts are not going to be easy on the ears. Audio engineer who willingly went along and approved of this needs to be fired or he at least should encourage her to re-do some of the notes.

She can actually still belt so beautifully. Remember this? Emancipation-riah is still there like it's 2005. What I don't quite understand is why it's not translating sonically on the record. I really love the melody, she absolutely delivered on that front. But somehow, the overall sound just isn't hitting. Mariah, girl, there's still time to edit. Get an audio engineer who will keep it real.

Someone copy paste my comment on X, I'm not on it.

The Bop That Got Away (110,434) by Lambi from USA
Never Too Far was the right decision. If you noticed in the movie, it was meant to be Mariah's "I Will Always Love You" moment, a well-crafted song. Lead the Way was just a background noise moment in the film. Also, Asia ate up Never Too Far. It's still being sung in singing contests to this day. It's simply the more palatable ballad, just sadly released on 9/11, with no push from the label whatsoever.

Angels Cry was also embraced in Asia. They chose well. It should have been It's a Wrap, though, to really maximize that era's success. Angels Cry also wasn't a lead single; it was a remix single, a last effort to salvage the album from flopping because, yet again, they weren't banking on Mariah at the end of MOAIA. Actually, as early as the second single, H.A.T.E.U., it felt like they just dropped her. I truly wonder why Def Jam did her dirty like that.

You're Mine is good, but this era is when Mariah's voice "got ugly". That's the best way I can explain it. Her voice is still beautiful, but there was a dryness in her tone that made everything she sang on that album less stellar. Great songs. The melodies were melodying. But she lost quality in her voice, sadly. It's almost like the bitterness from the divorce mutated her voice. The belts were also pitched way too high. It's like Mine Again pitched up times three.

With You was also the right choice. It's right up there with A No No as the bop that got away. The only thing I would change is the intro, it's a bit too long and I would slightly reduce the repetition of "With you, with you, with you," but only minimally. It was almost another WBT moment, yet once again, there was no backing from the label.

MC's sleep struggle (110,433) by Lambi from USA
You're right. I usually would say it's because of the lighting: "You're not giving me a key light, so I'm putting these on." But she did an interview with The Breakfast Club before, with her own personal lighting, and she still put on shades. It's usually a rare thing, but in all the recent interviews (Capital FM, Capital XTRA, KISS, Smooth Radio, Heart), she consistently had them on. So that's bizarre.

The explanation that makes the most sense is puffiness and eye bags. Mariah struggles with sleep, so she would look like she hasn't slept. And with aging, wrinkles have probably started to become more noticeable.

Someone recently captured her getting out of her car or arriving at a hotel. They caught her just a second before she put the shades on, and I've never seen her look that old and tired. For once, she looked relatively closer to her age.

The common denominator with these interviews is that they're all daytime events. And like she said, "I don't have time for this daytime sh*t, I should be sleeping." Makeup could conceal the tiredness and puffiness around the eyes, but a full glam session takes time, and Kristofer probably isn't available every waking hour, so shades it is.

Great music (110,412) by Lambi from USA
Not gonna lie, I was actually really hopeful after reading that grand Gamma article. But after hearing the new singles, it seems like the quality of songwriting went down with Mariah's choice of co-writers. It's not bad, still solid by normal standards but Mariah is just held to a whole different level. She's literally never made one bad studio album. Ever.

This is actually the first time she's dropped weak lead singles. It landed me to a hopeless point. I still want her to come through and prove me wrong though. Shut me up. I'm rooting for that.

I think your assessment might be correct. This could be the Charmbracelet to the Emancipation. Only time will tell. But like you said, it is great quality music no matter what.

MC can be sarcastic but I genuinely believe she had no idea about those women going up to space. Which is so awesome because the average person didn't care either. I know exactly what you're talking, that could be partly be true on YouTube shorts but I checked, the comments are from real accounts, specifically on the video ET posted on Facebook. Daniel Moore vs. Big Jim Wright (110,404) by Lambi from USA
This is fun. Daniel worked on In The Mix, Fall In Love At Christmas, Portrait, and Type: Dangerous, which I thought are all mid. I get what you mean though. I think Moore is more encouraging to Mariah about embracing her recent voice after seeing that Mimi session. I can hear him say, "It's okay, we can lower the key here."

Big Jim worked on Circles, Fly Like A Bird, Cry, and It's A Wrap, which are better songs, so to me he's a better match for Mariah musically.

However, Mariah's most superior collaborator will forever be Walter. I know we share this sentiment. It's like music geniuses, match made in heaven. That was God's will. All I Want For Christmas Is You, One Sweet Day, Hero, Outside, Close My Eyes, Forever, My All are unmatched. Mariah hasn't made a ballad quite the same ever since.

I truly do wish she would squash whatever unforgivable sin Walter did to her and just get on making new music.

Mariah's reaction to Katy Perry skyrockets (110,403) by Lambi from USA
For whatever reason, this is the one that every media outlet picked up and it's going insanely viral right now. It's interesting to see how the general public perceives Mariah. The comments range from: "Is she high?" "Is she drunk?" "Sedated Mariah is forever a mood," to "She sounds like she's had a few."

What's crazy is, I actually thought her recent interviews were decent, definitely better than the ones in Australia. But to the average viewer who isn't a lamb, there's no mercy; they'll just call it like they see it. I really hope she eases up on the meds. While she's not totally disoriented, it's obvious to the casual observer that something feels off.
