I just cried (89,413) by Tevin from USA Mariah song 100% live, gave a solid performance. Taylor Swift was fan girling her. The crowd loved her. That acceptance speech I literally cried when she said, that us, her fans, saved her life. Thank you miss Mariah Carey. Even though we already knew it, you've just confirmed your legacy your humility and your heart to millions of people and to the GP. I can now move on from the last 4 crazy years in her career. Mariah's awards performance (89,211) by Tevin from USA So I haven't posted in a while. I wanted to say, like all of you, I'm super excited about Mariah's upcoming performance, especially since this will be her night, sort of speak, since she will be receiving the Icon Award. I try to take a step back and really think about what would make for a great performance. We all know she is probably going to perform a melody of hits. I believe Mariah needs to bring the energy to the stage like she did in the E=MC2 era. I think she should start off with the same intro and mix of IBLYLT/TBM then after her whistle ending, you hear "yo New York is in the house", and Steve should go into Fantasy, then, remix Anono, start of with Biggie's line, then she can go right into singing a no no, then to end, she definitely should end with ABMB. (It's one of her only 90s that's still in solid rotation. But she should end it with crowd participation in the song just like she did in Japan in 96. Leave on s solid note, everyone smiling and happy. 95% live signing and no gown or long dress, but jeans and a t-shirt.) (Tuesday 16 April 2019; 22:14)

Until a Mariah song connects with the general public again, we will continue to see her sales like this. Also, We Are The Lambs USA, why do you try to put everyone down who continues to support Mariah? Please stop, you're sounding very Stella like. Come down. I keep forgetting the general public thought Mariah was a white girl with a big voice, when she first broke into the industry. I think I remember that scene in Glitter where the director was talking about the "mystery " of her race. Also everyone can remember the Fresh Prince of Bel Air line, "He's the one that found out Mariah Cary was black." My suggestion for those stuck in the past is to get some surround sound, a 3d video 4k ultra HD projector, some 3d glasses, then watch all the pre 97 performances to your blue in the face. Spotify (86,296) by Tevin from USA I'm happy to see Mariah's sale projections, quick question. I'm purchasing one or two physical copies tomorrow. I pre saved the album on Spotify, but I'm wondering how do I make sure I'm streaming the album as a whole and not just a single or song from the album? As long as the album is saved can I skip around songs or will that effect the album streaming count? (86,252) (86,254) by Tevin from USA B I was thinking a bit of the same thing for the video, but add stella and crew robbing Mariah's home, while Mariah pops up on the tv and video monitors and begin singing the song, while the cops show up. The island scene would be great, she can even do beach side chair choreography like Dua Lipa in her No Rules video. So many ideas lol. (Monday 19 November 2018; 22:22)

Also even though it was 99% live, that mic placement had me dying laughing. I'm like come on Mariah you using the mic to hide possible lipsyncing? Lol. Runway (86,083) by Tevin from USA Still playing this song non stop. I love it. I wish this was on the US version. I put this as my second or third favorite from the album, behind A No No, and Portraits. I still can't believe Mariah and Skrillex worked together. Also on a side note, somebody find Stella and demand the demo tape back. Also I hope when Mariah sings Portraits live she either mixes it somehow with Petals, or she goes crazy vocally at the end, with how it should sound if she didn't hold back. (One can dream right?) Caution review (86,028) by Tevin from USA I love it. Yes I wish there were more in your face vocal moments (like at the end of Portraits, I wish she would have let loose lol), but overall it was a great body of work. It sounds like a Mariah album and it definitely sounds fresh a current. (Like the extended ending to GML, sounds like a Drake or Chance The R song.) I love the vibe and feel of this album. For those saying they wanted a more upbeat in your face album, to be honest this time of year I don't think that would work. It's fall/winter and this is a perfect laid back groove album to listen to. Highlights: Portraits, sounds like an updated version of Petals. Stay Love You L: Early 2000s throwback sound. Love hearing Mariah's low and mid range voice. The harmonies was good. Lowlights: Her higher belts sounded a bit strained, nasal and forced, I'm a bit worried that if its sounded like that after production and editing and perfecting, she must be going through something with her voice right now (think Rainbow era problems). Hopefully she can get whatever is happening negatively to her voice in check. Song ranks 1. A No No 2. Caution 3. SLLY 4. Portraits 5. Giving Me Life P.S. Don't hate me but I do not like One Mo Gen. All in all it's a great reintroduction to the GP for Mariah. 4.5 out of 5. (Friday 16 November 2018; 15:50)
