While it is quite unrealistic at this point to compare With You's success to the sleeper monster hit that is Havana, the latter actually was around longer than two months before it hit #1. I remember it being released as a promotional single along with another Camila song sometime in early August of 2017 and I kinda knew there was something special about the track from the first time I heard it, especially compared to the other one it came out with (forgot its title) - it was the one with hit potential. It was around for like a month before it was officially released in September, but early on it fared better internationally than in the US. It's one of those rare hit songs that the US caught up to as it's usually them who set the trend on what's considered hot. So it took four months to reach the summit.
I agree, though, that With You or any other single from the Caution, despite possible success, will not buoy the album back up the charts significantly, if any. I've accepted that and am just thankful for the sweeping critical acclaim it has received.

I believe it, this remix will be bigger than the Heartbreaker remix. I think it will be her 19th number one because hip hop radio is waiting on that big Spring jam before summer. Last year it was God's Plan by Drake that blew up as the Spring jam.

Lol, the show is cute and he got a haircut. He's been doing by great on Wendy, based on the clips I've seen and all her comments. I guess he is getting practice for his coming talk show.

Poor B, Andrew's ghost keeps haunting him. Comparing how Havana rose to #1 to whatever "With You" is doing on the R&B charts is ridiculous. Havana hit #2 two months after its release. "With You" hasn't even bubbled under the BB Hot 100 in nearly three months. Caution is good, but commercially the album is done. "A No No" remix, if not a copy-n-paste rushed effort, could be a hit, but it won't bring Caution back into any relevant position on the BB Hot 100. I'm enjoying Caution for what it is, but let's be sane and realistic here.

I don't watch the show because Nick's hair is distracting. Lol. I did however watch the bee performance on YouTube because people kept talking about. Yes I knew right off the bat who was singing. She killed Chandelier.

I know I don't have to explain myself. I guess I wanted to Licia. I also thought Justin Timerlake didn't suit the superbowl. It's not the place for every artist. Could Mariah pull it off? Sure, if all the pieces were in place, but I don't think it would be a good choice at the moment.

She's built her entire career on emulating Mariah. I saw an old interview her manager did before the release of The Way and he called her the new Mariah and in the same interview Harmony Samuels said they used Mariah's 90's albums as the blueprint for Yours Truly. One song is a blatant ripoff of I've Been Thinking About You. Suprised she hasn't been sued by Mariah and David Cole for copyright infringement.

Every song on Caution features intricately layered background vocals and digitized beats so using prerecorded tracks is necessary and almost every Pop, R&B, and Hip-hop artist does it.

Mariah can't sing? She may not be able to sing as well as did 29 years ago but she can still sing.

I'd love to see her do the half time show as long as she avoids ballads and gives us moments like this.

Most people hated it, even celebrities couldn't believe the mediocrity. I actually love Maroon 5 but it was the worst halftime ever. Such a shame they went from Beyoncé and Lady Gaga to this. And those two rappers added nothing. I'm glad Twitter and the ratings agree. I don't read reddit and hardly even know what that is. I couldn't even finish the whole thing.

Deedre you don't have to explain anything. You didn't say anything that wasn't already said. You just said it nicer. Lol. There actually was a point where I felt that she would be perfect to perform the Superbowl, but now it's a no from me. I don't feel now she'd fully commit to the work that a performance at the Superbowl would entail and I'd hate for her to get on TV (again) and half ass this.

Wait, wasn't I called delusional when I said could see With You following a trajectory similiar to Pink's Who Knew or Camilla's Havanna, lol. Guess everyone who wrote this era off because With You didn't storm the Billboard charts the week it debuted are eating crow at the moment.

She did great. I also love her Bond song License to Kill, classic. I grew up listening to her around the house etc. How intriguing if you are just being introduced to her music. Check YouTube for her rendition of Oh Holy Night it's a whole production and extravaganza. I love a singer with confidence and command of her instrument.

Yes the controversy was wack. But I won't go into a long post about why I think so. Gladys certainly has a right to her opinion and she is a legend who can still "sang". And have you been watching Nick's new show the Masked Singer? She is definitely the Bee mask. I would know that distinctive voice anywhere. If your didn't see her song the anthem, it's on YouTube along with the Masked performance of Sia's Chandelier. She bodied that song and I never used to like it, but I would buy a Gladys cover.

After some years of backlash, I actually am tempted to believe that they have to tone the show down. Maybe next year something completely different, and bring a more intimate atmosphere, and then I actually think Mariah could have done a great job. If she rehearsed, or made some pretty good playback vocals, she could bring intimicy with Hero, and We Belong Together, and some energy with Make It Happen and #Beautiful.

It's not cute, it's fact. Go on Reddit to find out how much they've hated it and how they've brigaded to down vote the video. The halftime memes on how NFL and Maroon 5's inability to deliver the petition (which got 1. 5 million petition on change.org, btw) to play Sweet Victory were trending the whole day today.

I thought the messages here would be a little less harsh towards Mariah when Andrew left but it feels like he didn't. Anyway, this is the world we live in now so it would be like take it or leave it. Oh well I will just look forward to seeing her in Chicago this March for the Caution tour.
