Thanks flower for the lovely compliment. He will be buzzing when I tell him you believe he is Maraiah's type.

Article: Water your thoughts: leave Mariah alone (88,516) by Andrew from London, UK
"Society needs to stop pitting women against each other"? What a load of crap. Women pit themselves against other women for women are generally jealous and bitchy as a gender. Mariah has done it galore, many times over. Society needs to stop intersectional victimisation. As far as I can see, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, et al., are not victims. They are the products of a society that rewards talent based upon merit.

How can she be everywhere if she's on tour? You rather she cancel the tour.

Hmm, mmm. Ok. So how does that apply to us Americans who absolutely love the song?

Re: Caution tour sold out in Chicago (88,511) (88,513) by Jono from USA
The show was fantastic. Loved having giant screens showing graphics which gave Mariah an updated look; very much like Caution. Besides a few moments where the backing track kicked in, which only us lambs can really notice, she sounded and looked great. Loved hearing these songs live that I didn't think I'd ever be able to - AYNAF, YDKWTD, and Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. It seemed like the audience was split half and half between casual fans and diehards, which could explain the lesser engagement during the Caution moments. What a fantastic experience, and the overall sentiment as everyone was leaving the theatre was "wow she was great".

She needs to do promotion. At this time for her dropping the music video will not do anything for the song. She needs talk shows, interviews, magazine covers, she needs to be all over. The tour and video will do nothing for the song as sad as it is to say that but she needs to be on everything.

Caution tour sold out in Chicago (88,511) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Last night Mariah was on fire. The clips on YouTube don't do her singing justice. She sounded smooth and buttery. I was shocked at all the remixes she did, and new material. I noticed quite a few people not connecting, perhaps hoping for more hits which were largely absent. What is notable is that DJ Suss opened his set with Michael Jackson songs. I was all for this as it's a testament to a legend supporting a legend.

It's simple psychology really, cognitive dissonance. You tend to like what you have, because, why else would you have it? And since you are unable to get what you want, you mentally decrease its value so it's easier to accept that it's out of reach.

I just find it hilarious that someone who always has messed up stuff to say about songs and things that other people like got his panties all in a bunch because some people don't like this boring ass song. I can be bitter all say, but that song is still boring as hell to me. It was boring before YouTube and it's boring after. Lol. Now I wait for the 1500 word paragraph about how it was a joke.

No I like that song, but I named the other 3 because I listen to them more.

A No No getting no airplay (88,507) by Bobby A from United States
I listen to several Hip Hop/Urban stations in Memphis, Atlanta, and Dallas Fort Worth and none are playing A No No right now. It looks like we have a problem Houston. MC has another flop single. Who dropped the ball this time?

Re: Original Music Box track listing (88,504) (88,506) by Special K from USA
Why would someone not like a song because they had to wait years to hear it? Doesn't make sense to me. It's really not that deep. I love EFA. Me personally I think both songs, EFA and Do You Think Of Me, should have been on Music Box.

Oh no did you say you don't like MB the song? Girl that song means the world to me. When I listen to MB I almost cry happy tears because it reminds me of my husband. Mariah's voice is so powerful but yet controlled. Those lyrics take me to a happy, mystical, place of love, peace, happiness really appreciating Mr. Special K.

Well, cudos to Andrew for writing a message I agree with, without being mean, but actually funny. People here from the US calling Everything Fades Away boring, have years of internalized bitternes since they almost had to wait for YouTube to exist before they could freely listen to the track. Everybody knows EFA is the most interesting song on the album.

I was doing my normal Saturday thrifting at one my thrift stores and found the European version of Music Box. I was so happy that I finally had a copy in my hand.

Re: Original Music Box track listing (88,495) (88,502) by Licia from USA
I find myself fast forwarding through Everything Fades Away to get to the parts I find appealing. Like I said it's not a bad song, it just doesn't move me until close to the end. The song was definitely made to fit in with the snoozefest theme of the Music Box album (with the exception of Never Forget You, ATYNAF, and Dreamlover lol). Now Do You Think of Me is a song that should have been on an album, but not MB for sure. Everything in this song just works for me from the vocals to the lyrics. I fell in love the first time I heard it.

Re: Original Music Box track listing (88,495) (88,501) by Randy from USA
I disagree. I will say that I don't care for the lyric but the melody and backgrounds are haunting. To me it's my favorite of MCs non-releases. I still can't see it at the end of Music Box or even on Music Box unless you put it before Never Forget You and the second half of Music Box is already sad enough/sedated enough.

Re: Original Music Box track listing (88,465) (88,500) by Andrew from London, UK
Everything Fades Away: the amazing, stirring, perfect ending to the European Music Box release. For the rest of the world, a lifetime of jealousy buttered with "It's an old track tacked on" / "It's boring" / "It doesn't go with the rest of the album" bitterness. Well, we know that you know that we know that you know. (Get the point? No? I'll get to it.) EFA is amazing, stirring and perfect. Yours is the equivalent sentiment of having someone else come first place whilst spouting with lip pouting: "Well, I didn't even wanna win the stupid thing, anyway."

Interesting. I love Everything Fade Away but I prefer Do You Think of Me. In my opinion both tracks should have been part of the standard edition of Music Box.

On my way (88,497) by enwar00 from usa
On my way to the show. I'm so excited. I've had a stressful few months with a new and demanding job so I'm ready to let loose with some Mimi, even if it's on lame Monday night. There was a low supply on last minute tickets but I couldn't give up the hunt and break my streak of seeing her on every tour she's brought to Chicago. I'll let you all how it is.

I prefer Do You Think Of Me. Does anyone have an mp3 of that song and Slipping Away? My nephew fired my laptop and I unfortunately didn't save either to my tablet or phone.

I agree Licia, Everything Fades Away, including my consciousness when I listen to this song. Music Box is already a pretty sleepy album, and I'm happy to put it to bed after All I Ever Wanted.
