About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Re: New material (97,924) (97,925) by Bobby A from United States
Lol. I asked the same question but I was so much nicer. Maybe he is just soaking in a jacuzzi of kindness and love.

New artists (97,917) by Bobby A from United States
I found three new male R&B and Electronic artists today on vinyl. Ry X, Sampha, and Gary Clark Jr. I am just amazed at all three. Why didn't someone tell me about Gary Clark Jr. before now? Can you imagine a Gary Clark Jr. and Mariah Carey collaboration? Sampha has produced for Drake, Solange, Kanye West, and among others. He should collaborate with MC. Ry X is just perfect for a weekend party with a bunch of your friends over. His music is an electronic chill out experience you have to Iisten to. Think Tiesto but more R&B sounding.

Re: Something's up (97,911) (97,915) by Bobby A from United States
The new vocals will be heard this summer on the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis album. It will our first glimpse of what she will sound like on MC16.

With You (97,913) by Bobby A from United States
I played With You yesterday. I really listened to it right after listening to Mine Again. With You really shows what MC was saying about Caution not being her best vocally. Even with the low key that it is sung in, I noticed MC sounding really tired on the verses. The background vocals and harmonies are on point. Hopefully, we will hear 1999 MC soon.

Re: Something's up (97,908) (97,909) by Bobby A from United States
MC is just working hard on MC 16. She said recently with Lambs on a social media chat app that she is just obsessed with this new music. She said that she is working on a show. You can not post on social media every day if you are in the studio all night until six in morning. She is good young Lamb. We should be asking if Andrew is good. He has been awful quietly lately.

Elijah Blake (97,886) by Bobby A from United States
Elijah Blake a.k.a. Sean Fenty who has written for Keyshia Cole, Rick Ross, Rihanna, and Usher's Climax posted a video on Twitter complimenting MC for her vocal technician skills and runs on When I Saw You. Do I smell a collaboration?

Hmmmmm. She is still showing up on their website.

Vocal analysis video found (97,882) by Bobby A from United States
I think that I may have found the best video yet that analyzes MC's voice and vocal decline. I can never figure out how to share the link using my phone. However, if you type the Google search "Mariah Carey's voice explained". The YouTube video by I Love Aretha Franklin will come up. This video is a must watch. MC16 is going to show that she lost her capital and her voice has more of a edge to it that ever before. These are the terms being used in the video. These terms really explain MC's vocal decline. One video last year of MC singing Stay The Night clearly shows the edge of her voice. Let me know your thoughts.

Re: Go independent (97,879) (97,880) by Bobby A from United States
I get it. MC can not continue to keep putting out albums and they underperform on a major label. Epic is going to drop her from their roster if MC16 does not sell like Dua Lipa.

Go independent (97,875) by Bobby A from United States
Maybe it is time for MC to sign with an independent label and major distribution company like BMG. Janet Jackson has gone independent and signed to BMG. MC has the cash. What could go wrong as an independent artist? She has think out of the box for this next era.

Re: MC30 (97,873) (97,874) by Bobby A from United States
Yes. Def Jam stopped supporting MC after E=MC2. MIAM was a messy rollout. We might not ever hear tracks not used for the album on any new compilation. I think she is searching for another label for MC16. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis own Perspective Records. Interesting they got the first session this year.

Re: MC30 (97,869) (97,870) by Bobby A from United States
Maybe it has something to do with Def Jam not allowing Memoirs and MIAM to participate in MC30 celebration. If you noticed, we did get any tracks on The Rarities from two eras.

We all need to accept MC's current vocal state right now.

Re: I just want (97,855) (97,856) by Bobby A from United States
Mariah is going to have to work with some Neo-Soul and traditional R&B producers like Carvin and Ivan and Rex Rideout. Their arrangements are simple smooth R&B arrangements that showcase the artist's voice. For example, checkout Leela James' Complicated produced by Rex Rideout. Leela James does not have the greatest voice, however her songs draw the listener in with her voice. Rated R&B describes her voice as like sandpaper. MC should just sing and draw the listener in with simple arrangements with her current melodic vocal flaws. MC16 is going to be her most interesting album because we don't know what to expect this time around. I have faith that we will be pleasantly surprised.

I am feeling the same way right now. I would love for MC to put out an song for next album sampling SWV, Jade, or Jon B.

Miss You ad libs (97,843) by Bobby A from United States
What is MC saying the last minute of Miss You? It is so difficult to understand her at the end of the song.

Nick is going to be a dad again. Abby is expecting twins.

Bruno Mars (97,788) by Bobby A from United States
Several Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak songs could give MC a second comeback. I hope she collaborates with them both soon in the studio.

I thought that was the case with Stokley. Thank you for your detective work.

Stokley Williams (97,764) by Bobby A from United States
I was reading Stokley Williams' website. He is the lead singer and drummer of the band Mint Condition. His biography says that he has done studio work with MC. I can't figure out what song he worked on with MC. Does anybody know?

Re: Best opening line (97,755) (97,756) by Bobby A from United States
I am riding home in pain again babe. But that don't mean s**t to you. I love the opening of "One and Only". Luis must have been doing some crazy things behind MC's back.

We Belong Together 2022 (97,688) by Bobby A from United States
I am sitting here thinking who could collaborate with MC this year and give her WBT 2022. I could only think of two songwriters who would nail it. Jazmine Sullivan and Finneas are the only two songwriters. I hope that she is trying to recreate the magic that TEOM gave her but with a more current sound.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (97,685) by Bobby A from United States
The fact that MC has been in the studio with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis gives clue to the type of sound she is going for with MC16.
