Ed Sheeren's collaborative album (89,732) by SM from Citizen of the World
Just a thought, I think it would be awesome if Mariah was a part of his new album. I never really was a fan of his but I like his 2 new tracks so far.

Randy, you are so shady yet so wrong. First of all Celine wishes she could sing like Mariah even today. The only thing Celine can do better than Mariah is lipsynching for her life.

Mariah in Dublin / Royal Albert is much better vocalist than Celine in her prime, although she has amazing songs, her voice never moved me like Whitney or Mariah's.

We all know Mariah's voice is so unique and tender, her nodules did give her the amazing ability to sing high as well as low but it has created more problems lately.

The fact that Wendy Wiliams knows more than a fan is hilarious. Here is a video where Wendy defended Mariah when she performed on BET aka #Beautiful remix. Please watch it.

I thought her voice sounded bad in 2008-2009 and that her third peak was when she was during the Merry Christmas II You era.

I literally just laughed out loud. For a moment, when I read the caption, I was afraid they were going to sing together and Celine was going to murder her. Oh I know, MC can hold her own against Celine if she's had a decent night's rest, she's only singing in front of fans, her ear monitor's working, her dress isn't too tight, it's 72 degrees in the room, there's 20 humidifiers around her, her nodules are not flaring up and she's in Capri.

Re: Years of note: A vocal evolution (89,714) (89,725) by Bill from the UK
1990-1994 I see as one era, centred by the Unplugged album. Despite how the studio albums sounded, her live performances and vocal delivery always sounded similar to the Unplugged album, in that her voice was soft, delicate, yet with a warmth and resonance behind it with a sharp impeccable upper register. With Daydream, both studio and live, her voice really changed. It sounded more nasal, but had more strength behind it. And it never really was the same since. She had some peaks since, in 2001, 2005 and 2008.

Mariah shared a mash-up of her and Celine carpool karaoke on her Twitter. She captioned it, "When you had a rough night but your friend is being extra."

She's sounded really good in the clips I've seen. It always makes me happy when the vocals are up to par. Idk know what she's doing or not doing, but I'd like her to continue.

We are agreeing on a lot, B-Rand. They never proved it when MJ was alive and there's no hope now he is not. Money-hungry, morally reprehensible fools, say I. I say, also, to everyone who gives credence to the vile documentary: imagine if Stella&Co made a documentary after Mariah had passed with such allegations. Imagine your response. Imagine your outrage. To me, an age-old adage is more applicable in the modern era than ever: it doesn't matter what you "know", it matters what you can prove. Can't prove it? Stop talking. And go live your best life.

The phone call would go something a little bit like this:
"Hi, is that Mariah?"
"Dahling, you sound so English."
"Dahling, you don't. Anyway, I have ideas that would make..."
"Wait, who are you?"
"It's Andrew. From the MCA messageboard."

Royal Albert Hall / Andrew (89,715) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I like your idea, hopefully Mariah and her team decides to do something special with this mini residency since she has only been to this special venue one time when she performed Endless Love with the late Luther Vandross.

Years of note: A vocal evolution (89,714) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I've always loved every era of "thee voice" Mariah has ever had throughout her entire career. I love when it's powerful, I love with it cracks. I love that you can tell where she's at emotionally in her life just by listening to her voice in that era. There are bench marks where her voice has shifted into a new phase. (This is not good or bad, it's evolution. I don't want to debate what your personal opinion is on how her voice sounds at any given time.) What I'd like to hear is when do you think her voice fluttered into the next phases? These are the years that stand out to me:
1. 1997
2. 2003
3. 2011
4. 2018
What years do you think you heard an era shift?

Mariah and weed (89,713) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
We've all seen Mariah at the weed dispensaries over the years, and people attribute this to her "decline in voice" but I truly don't believe she smokes weed, she does edibles. She eats Gummies. She ingests weed, she doesn't inhale it. If she smoked proper and drank, her voice would be completely gone without a chance of vocal supremacy she has now. Look at Rihanna's vocal decline in 10 years and we know she smokes weed proper. 30 years, Mariah's voice is still astounding. Her voice has always been as delicate as a butterfly.

1:14 mark: "That's right Usher. Don't be blowin' smoke in my face."

It's not from her Dublin show? Where does it say it's a part of her Amfar/Cannes performance? I thought she performed in the black dress and tiara in Cannes. My apologizes.

I just read the comments on the Tweet. I guess I should do so before making assumptions. However, the videos I've seen of her Dublin concert were also amazing. Here's a video of highlights from her Dublin concerts.

Re: Mariah in the new era (89,703) (89,710) by B from USA
Mariah's legacy looked like it might be tainted but she went into the studio determined and focused and delivered an amazing album. Caution is among her best work and proof that she is a musical genius. Caution is current yet classic Mariah. It is also her most critically acclaimed album, ever. Caution is proof that Mariah is still relevant and is more than just a legacy act. More importantly Roc Nation and Melissa Ruderman have managed to get Mariah the respect she deserves (has always deserved) and more importantly make her likeable again which seemed impossible just a year and a half ago.
