About Lara from Middle East: I discovered Mariah with "always be my baby"...Got hooked by "my all"..didnt know it was the same artist back then..I couldn't (yet) understand what she was singing! Since then, I've been a big fan and rediscovered her catalogue and appreciate her even more...Searching for her lyrics was my way to learn english :)

Random thoughts (47,582) by Lara from Middle East The holiday season is approaching and this time of the year is known to be special for Mariah. What do you think if she released an album for kids? A compilation of lullabies and kids tunes? Things she likes to sing for dem babies? On a total different note, funny how Mariah shares the same initials (even the name?) of another great Maria Callas. (Friday 24 October 2014; 22:30)

Tour / random thoughts (47,473) by Lara from Middle East We barely see news about Mariah's tour. Apart from the first gig which was relatively bad. I got no feedback on her other perfomances (vocally, not "clothingly" lol ). You can see that her performances are getting better, but sadly this isn't reported. She sang My All in Spanish, for a change, no comments from the press. Even on YouTube, videos are scarce. Surprisingly I haven't seen any video reporting her singing her new "elusive" songs. I read the comments about her voice. Yes, it has changed, she seems to have more difficulty to sing like before, but still she's singing better than anyone now on the scene. I wonder if her vocal cords got injured when she [censored] and if she had surgery for her shoulder, they could have been further damage done? Finally, I love her interaction with her backup singers, they re doing a great job. (Friday 17 October 2014; 10:36)

Aquarium pics (46,892) by Lara from Middle East When I saw the pictures, I couldnt help thinking of her song "Betcha u gon' know". The press is reporting Nick is very sad while Mariah is looking freat and is all smiles. Seems a good description no? "Betcha Gon' Know oh how it feels when I get you back. Betcha gon know when your heart's been cracked when we fade to black. And you see your whole world collapse. I'm gonna la-la-la-la-la-laugh right in your face boy." (Monday 22 September 2014; 12:25)

Back up singers (46,736) by Lara from Middle East I accidently just heard Babyface "Only when I close my eyes" with Mariah vocal's on the background. I wonder is there any other artist that has a special relation with his backup singer like Mariah has? If i'm not mistaken, they've been singing with her for 20 years, if not more (at least for Trey). She had a duet with Trey (twice) and one of his girls wrote Thirsty with her. I think Mariah really appreciate her backup singers because she once was just like them. (Thursday 11 September 2014; 9:26)

Thirsty (46,706) by Lara from Middle East Mariah may be targeting more than a person, that way it won't fireback at her just like it did when she targeted Eminem (being elusive no?). I think Nicky Minaj may be one the suspects (changing names/best thing to her) for Thirsty, and even Meteorite. (Wednesday 10 September 2014; 6:39)

Re: Drew / album tracklist (46,652) by Lara from Middle East I definitely agree with you. I also think that Mariah had many different songs recorded. Her album was to be released shortly after #Beautiful but her shoulder injury happened and I think that's when their trouble in her marriage has escalated, Mariah probably feeling abandoned in her pain (while she was all the time with Nick during his lupus crisis). So she went back to the studio and recorded Faded, Thirsty and also probably Meteorite, Cry, YDKWTD, Money. All of these can be applied to Nick. And it's no coincidence (if the rumours are true) that Nick left home in May, when the album was released. (Saturday 6 September 2014; 18:03)

#1 titles (46,594) by Lara from Middle East Isn't it funny how Mariah's first and last number ones have somehow opposite titles? The abstract "Vision of love" vs the more materialistic "Touch my body"? Ironically the former, although almost 20 years older, is way much mature than the latter. It might be reflective of how the music industry has evolved. (Wednesday 3 September 2014; 16:54)

About the TMZ video (46,393) by Lara from Middle East I think Mariah looks great and her answer was great. She has the right to keep her privacy. I love her looks in it, much more toned down, natural and not overly sexy. She's finally dressing her age. Do you think that's from the split? The fact that now she doesn't need Nick's attention anymore and try to dress like all these younger women who are trying to get him. (Tuesday 26 August 2014; 16:09)
