They will either get mad because it's not a replica of Daydream or they will be upset because it won't have Daydream vocals. It's totally unrealistic. As for AI, if Mariah didn't get along with the producers, I take that as her not wanting to change who she is for the sake of money and ratings. Seems like they wanted crazy, self absorbed, diva Mariah and they got a professional who was trying not make it about herself. So if J. Lo is willing to do what the producers want then let her have it. It's not like Mariah needs it or even cares. Seems to me like they only brought J. Lo back to add more fuel to the Mariah being replaced by J. Lo stuff hoping it will make people interested in AI again. Just like the fight with Nicki. Voicemail (38,802) by Licia from USA It was nice to get an old school voice mail from Mariah. I miss those days as well. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram sort of makes the updates suck with all the excessive whining that is posted. I don't think she had have her therapist go into all that detail. She also shouldn't have had to explain to the twitter peeps as to why the 7/23 fan thing she had planned didn't go through. She was hurting and if fans couldn't understand that then oh well. Anybody with a brain should have known she was not going to do anything on 7/23 with the injuries she has. The resung vocals sounded nice on the Beautiful remix though. I have been a fan since day one and as soon as her voice changed I knew it. Throughout the years I have learned to accept her voice limitations. Cracked ribs (38,625) by Licia from USA I just watched Nick on the Today show. He said that Mariah also cracked a rib and chipped her shoulder. Then after she got out of the hospital, she went right back to finish the video and she's still going to do the Sandy relief charity show. She did 2 videos for a lot of songs in the 90s and early 2000s. It's not new. I do wish we would have had a new single by now, but for whatever reason she feels that she needs to get this remix video out. Will (38,515) by Licia from USA I see what you are saying and I agree about her legacy. I'm mad about the lip syncing, but noone can ever take away what she has accomplished. As much as I love Whitney, she was a drug addict, but after she died her legacy was still intact. She's still the woman with the great voice. No one even mentions her little problem. BET Beautiful Remix intro (38,506) by Licia from USA That Beautiful intro she did was everything and completely different from the studio version of the remix. If she would have sang that part live, I would be ok. Her redoing that intro before the show is proof that she still has it. I'll never understand why she just didn't sing that part at least. BET Awards (38,491) by Licia from USA Being the big fan I am, I can't lie and say I'm not a little disappointed. I just needed her to sing at least one note. I'm ok with half singing /half lipping. At least some of her woud have been there. She still has a voice even with her limitations.Those snippets of old songs floating around from the AI performance ,GMA, and 4th special prove it. If she needed to lip certain parts, I wouldn't be mad, but she lipped the whole song. Oh well I refuse to dwell on it .On to the next performance. On a positive note, she looked beautiful and the setup was nice. The hip hop remix is definitely better to perform and I'm still excited about the new album. (Monday 1 July 2013; 3:57)

Even though I like Asap Rocky (btw he's not an unknown rapper as some of you want to say, he may be new to you, but he's not unknown), I wasn't feeling that first one. The Spanglish one is growing on me. I don't do dance mixes, so I didn't even listen to that one. This is the one. I'm glad she resang the song for the hip hop mix. (Sunday 30 June 2013; 3:44)

Maybe it's just me, but (38,441) by Licia from USA I get the impression that Mariah wanted the title and all the details of the album to be announced under her own terms and not when everyone else wanted. I think once the title got leaked, she got really pissed. So far everything had been going right up until the leaking of the title. (Friday 28 June 2013; 14:12)

Remixes (38,436) by Licia from USA I love her hip hop collabos, but I'm not feeling this one. I was looking for a remix in the style of We Belong Together and Don't Forget About Us Desert Storm mixes.The raps, new vocals, and different beat just meshed well together. The Spanglish version is just messy. In 23 years I have only liked 3 of her dance mixes, so I don't think I will like these, even with resung vocals. I'll just keep listening to the original. Confused (38,385) by Licia from USA I'm confused about the Showbiz article, because he's implying that Mariah is doing mainly hip hop type songs, but I clearly remember her saying she has a lot of ballads on the album. So I'm not understanding where he's going with this article or why there would be an issue with the label if she gave them what they wanted. Anyway I could care less if she sticks with the hip hop, rnb, or just does ballads. I'm a fan of all three and as long as the music is good I have no problem with whatever direction she goes in.
