Album delay (38,364) by Licia from USA People on twitter last night were having a fit because the album is delayed. Those fools were going too far and it made me ashamed to be a fan. They even started attacking Jermaine for no reason. I mean we are all disappointed, but it's not that deep. I'd rather wait to get a great album than get a rushed mediocre one. Twitter, Facebook , and other social media sites have sort of taken away the excitement of getting new music from your favorite artist. Before social media, if things didn't go as planned, we just sat there and waited. We didn't have all this whining and posting pics of our self with knives up to our throat (yes they posted crap like that on twitter). An album push back is nothing to be devastated about. Lee Daniels/The Butler movie (38,222) by Licia from USA I absolutely adore Lee Daniels and the way he takes Mariah out of her comfort zone. He tries to bring out the best in her and make people see that she can leave the diva and glamour at the door to get the job done. The ending of the performance I saw was horrid. Anyway, that pic of her and Roe at the fridge is too cute. I wonder what Roe was saying with that little finger out like she's the boss. Lol. AI performance (37,925) by Licia from USA I have to agree that the undubbed audio was way better. I wish they would have just used that. Nope it was not perfect 90's Mariah, but she still sounded good. All in all though, the performance was not horrible, but the editing was. Someone made a comment about how they have to defend Mariah all the time. You don't have to defend her. Stop feeling like you have to. The one thing that I have learned from being a fan for so long is that if they didn't like her in the 90's when she was at her 100% best, they aren't going to like her now. They were going to find something wrong regardless. So why bother defending her and getting yourself upset? (Saturday 18 May 2013; 17:15)

Blog reception (37,808) by Licia from USA I've been reading some of the blogs and surprisingly they are liking the video. I mean, these are blogs who have no love for Mariah any other day, but the reception for Beautiful has been good. She can't please everybody and she shouldn't even try in my opinion. I respect what some of you have said and I agree she doesn't always have to show her body off all the time, but even if she had been covered from head to toe, somebody would have had something bad to say. This has been happening since the beginning of her career. Something would have been wrong with it. It's a no win situation. Even when I don't like a video or a decision that she has made, I respect when she stays true to herself. I really don't blame her for doing what she wants, how she wants to do it. #Beautiful video (37,788) by Licia from USA There were a few things I would have changed, but overall I liked it. The only thing that I really expected from this video is that Mariah was going to be Mariah no matter what .
