I would have loved to hear Mariah sing this back in the day when her voice was at its very best, but I have faith that she can pull it off now to the best of her ability. All the disrespectful stuff was just wrong .Mariah's next pip announcement should be "eff ya'll I'm done". After all that I certainly would give the fans a real reason to be disrespectful. I too was disappointed it wasn't music news, but it's a great thing that she's doing and I appreciate her dedication to the cause.The way they attacked this woman made me ashamed to be a fan. This reminds me of that time the rumor was that Mariah would cut her hair for cancer patients. They went on an on about how she would look without her hair instead of focusing on what good she would be doing for cancer patients. The rumor was false anyway. (Wednesday 15 January 2014; 4:00)

The announcement (40,554) by Licia from USA I was disappointed that it wasn't news on the album or the new song, but I choose to focus on the good she's doing for a good cause. I agree she should not have made us wait. She should have just revealed it or said "pip announcement for the St. Jude charity". Anyway as I said, it's a good cause and I'm not going to cry about it too long. Lol. I was extra disappointed in how the fans on Twitter acted. Charmbracelet (40,513) by Licia from USA I love CB. Although I have been a fan since the very first album, CB was the first album that I really connected with. The whisper vocals don't bother me, but the words on most of the songs got me. I finally had an album that I could relate to on so many levels. I never had that before CB. We all have our reasons for liking it or loving it. Just because I love CB doesn't mean it's better than certain other albums and just because you don't like CB doesn't mean the album you love is better. It's all a matter of opinion. That's another reason why it wouldn't work for Mariah. IDJ isn't doing much for her now. They would never take a risk like that on her. She would truly be doing it on her own. What Beyonce did (40,389) by Licia from USA I'm so sick of seeing "Mariah should do what Beyonce did." I honestly don't think that will work for Mariah. So what happens if Mariah does this and you all listen to the snippets and it's full of hip hop songs? Will you buy it? I doubt it because most of you complain about that. What if she releases content exactly like what Beyonce released? I doubt any of you want to hear Mariah Carey singing about putting her ass on anything or her telling Nick to come get this cherry. Beyonce has a fanbase that will buy her music even if all she's doing is farting on each track. Mariah does not have that. There are a few who will buy it, but a majority will not (myself included). What Beyonce did was a good marketing move for her and it worked for her. There have been plenty of acts that have released music just to iTunes. Beyonce wasn't the first. It just worked better for her. You all need to consider all the factors before saying what she needs to do because it may not work for Mariah. (Friday 3 January 2014; 19:36)

NYE performances / Edward (40,352) by Licia from USA I really enjoyed the New Years Eve performances. It probably was dubbed and I'm pretty sure some parts were lipped. So before you all pee on my happiness, just know that I don't care and I still liked it. Lol. Edward, unfortunately I accepted that reality a long time ago. It sucks that her vocals are not where they used to be, but when she's just using the voice she has now and not trying to relive 90's vocals that she's not capable of, she still sounds good. And as you said, she's still capable of making great music. At this point that's all I want. (Wednesday 1 January 2014; 17:10)

The people on Twitter are making my anxiousness worst because they are saying her performance of the medley of hits was epic. I can't wait to get home. He photoshopped himself into pics of Mariah when she was younger and Mariah even reposted one of the pics. They were so cute and hilarious. WWHL / Walter A. / last album (40,292) by Licia from USA I think Mariah finally kind of put an end to the speculation about her and Walter A working together again. When she made the comment about having to give up 50% on AIWFCIY, you can see she clearly isn't over whatever happened between them. Maybe now people can stop asking. As for her last album comment, I don't think she's going to stop making music.I just think she irritated with IDJ, the politics of the recording industry, and how they have been handling this album, but if this were to be her last album I wouldn't be mad. She's given us 23 years worth of music. I'm cool with her stopping if she feels she needs to. (Tuesday 24 December 2013; 10:31)

I can't wait to get home to see the second performance. From what was being said on Twitter, she did just as good on the second song. I need to rip the audio from this performance ASAP. I believe MCArchives posted the details in the news section. She sounded great in the clips that I have seen from the Nigeria concert. Fingers crossed that the next performance is just ad good. Will from England (40,186) by Licia from USA I agree with you. I didn't think this interview was supposed to be all serious. I saw two people having a fun time. The interview was about Christmas, family, and AIWFCIY. That's what they pretty much talked about until Tamron asked to see the shoe closet (which was hilarious).
