2013 Mariah (110,553) by Giovanni from USA I would also mention the dress she wore at the Grammys, Mariah looked like a million dollar Barbie. I even loved how she styled her hair. I like the make up she used in 2013. These new stylists she hired are not doing her any justice and I would agree that she definitely has a social media problem. Her X account is still stuck at 21 million which is sad. I honestly thought her team would have done something especially with a new album about to be released. 2013 Mariah (110,509) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I agree about the 2013 fashion. Her looks were on point. The American Idol era had her taking risks. Her hair and glam was on point. Her recent looks don't do justice to how incredible she looks now. The only recent ensemble I really liked was the gold moment at the BETs performance. Doja Cat (110,502) by Giovanni from USA This is why if Mariah wants to stay relevant she needs to one make sure her music is good and second collaborate with current artists like Doja Cat or Bruno Mars. A lot of people don't know who Kehlani or Shenseea is, I never heard of either them until "Sugar sweet" was released. She needs to go back with stylist Johnny Wujek because Dior Sovoa is not it, he needs to be fired asap. Johnny actually knows how to dress a woman. I also loved the short milf cut she had when she performed at that charity concert in NY when she was wearing that sling for her arm. Never been a fan of the long hair. Sugar Sweet (110,480) by Giovanni from USA Two problems with "Sugar sweet". It should have been a solo or just have been with Shenseea or with Ariana. Second no video. "Sugar sweet" had the potential to be better had Mariah gotten another verse in the song. I really thought hearing the snippet that it was gonna be another "Touch my body" lol. I was wrong. Mariah's voice (110,452) by Giovanni from USA We all know Mariah's voice is not what it used to be but there's still a voice there. She sounds amazing when rested and with jazz and Christmas music. What has always bothered me about the situation is that Mariah hardly ever talks about the problems with her voice. Nodules, vocal damage etc. I really think she and many others like Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys have vocal damage. Mariah might have damaged her voice by not resting her voice enough and with drinking. Mariah can do what she wants but I would always shake my head when she would have a glass of champagne in her hand because why would you destroy the gift God gave you. I'm not judging her I'm just telling it like it is. I think at this point all she can do is rest properly, stop drinking and get a vocal coach if she hasn't already. Grammys (110,426) by Giovanni from USA I know some of you may not care for Mariah to snag any more Grammys but I do. I will never get over how U2 won album of the year in 2006. We all know "The Emancipation Of Mimi" was a much better and bigger album. I felt Mariah really deserved that one. Also not to hate on Beyonce because I love her but it's ridiculous how she has so many over Mariah. "Drunk in love" is a garbage song yet won a Grammy. I know Mimi has one or two gospel songs on the new album, one with The Clark Sisters. If it's as good as J Valentine says it is maybe Mariah will be nominated for best gospel song/performance and snag a Grammy. (Monday 11 August 2025; 21:08)

I would like MC to keep her album titles short. I hated "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel" and "Me I am Mariah The Elusive Chanteuse". I would have simply went with "Imperfect" and "The Elusive Chanteuse". "Here for it all" is fine and I'm looking forward to hearing it. Type Dangerous jazz version (110,375) by Giovanni from USA I was just wondering if anyone else could hear a jazz version of "Type Dangerous"? It would definitely work and I so just MC would do some jazz tracks in the future. When I heard "Lullaby of Birdland" it left me wanting a jazz album. When Christmas comes (110,107) by Giovanni from USA I know we're far from Christmas but when I'm asked what is my favorite Mariah Carey song I wanna say "Someday" or "Love takes time" but call me crazy it has to be "When Christmas comes". And it doesn't have to be Christmas for you to play this song. Mariah really out did herself with this one. The music, the lyrics, her voice. If she had made it into a love song it would have likely been a hit. The Emancipation Of Mimi Mariah is singing in that song. I mean she is really showing off that 5 octave range and belting so strong. I so wish Mariah never got into champagne because I feel it damaged her voice tremendously and holds her back vocally. Mental state (109,971) by ADAM from USA I'm also highly curious what the album rollout interviews will look like. I think she has some sort of mental tick. She has not shared with the public, but I think she's had some sort of a stroke or physical laps that makes her unable to answer things in depth or recall easily. Anytime we have seen her when she answered something. It's all premeditated and not natural. I wish you just come clean and therefore you'd have the sympathy of the public and also some truth with your fan base instead of this plastic veneer and all these can terrible answers to questions that we don't care about. I think she's such an interesting figure and has so many stories that she could talk about But she is so guarded and not truthful. I really want the best for her as I feel like this is her last era of music. Hopefully no one stands in our way for Mariah to get herself a hit song. I've noticed that there seems to be a lot of excitement on social media for this new album with the fans. The snippet hasn't instantly hooked me but neither did the snippet for TDang but I grew to like that. What does everyone think? By the way she looks like a literal Barbie. Special guests (109,835) by BFF from United States I honestly wish the Usher collaboration single had happened with "How Much". I really liked the So So Def Remix version we got on the Anniversary Version of "Rainbow". That could have been a big git considering Usher was pretty big at the time as well. New album (109,703) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The new album is supposed to be a summery sound, well July is almost over I wonder what the roll out plan is and I was thinking I really hope the new album and what we heard about it turns out to be like E=MC2. I've been playing the album and it's still so fresh and experimental. Almost every song had single potential. I was also re-listening to For the Record and indeed what a record only MC has a legacy worth referencing in her own song. I absolutely love her doing the part where she word plays her own song titles, how I wish we had a music video of the song with her recreating her famous MV scenes from the songs mentioned. Anyway I'm rambling but yes I'm hoping for an album like that. It's peak summer vibes with songs like TMB, Cruise Control, IBLULT, FTR, Migrate, ITC. Even has the cheesy Love Story and Last Kiss which I know people hate on but I love it. (Saturday 12 July 2025; 23:55)

Type Dangerous (109,744) by Giovanni from USA It's been a long time since I posted or caught up with Mariah, but I have to say after giving "Type dangerous" a chance it has grown on me. I didn't really like it at first but I do now. When "It's like that" was released, I didn't really like it either. Her voice sounds much better and rested.
