About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Steve, it was just an innocent post about Carrie Underwood's performance and how she came out on top. There was nothing political about the post. Can we move past 2024? There are great things to look forward to in 2025 and beyond like MC's long awaited new music, the MCA family is growing, the first new daytime soap opera in 25 years, Beyond The Gates debuts on CBS in one month, Finn is Luna father on B&B, and I am moving back to the Atl this summer.

Favorite cover song on the wrong album (108,038) by Bobby A from United States
I was thinking yesterday about all of the things that I dislike about I Want To Know What Love Is. IWTKWLI was on the wrong album. It would have sounded better on Butterfly replacing Outside. Additionally, I have three reasons why IWTKWKLI should have been recorded 12 years earlier.

1. The three minutes and 27 seconds song length would have sounded perfectly on Butterfly.
2. MC's voice was in better shape on Butterfly than Memoirs.
3. Walter Afansieff's piano playing and production would have soared IWTKWLI to the top of the charts.

Manifestation (108,037) by Bobby A from United States
Great post Brandon. I believe Maxwell has a great fondness for MC. If he could it make happen, I believe he would choose MC. I hope we get something new from MC soon. I miss hearing MC on the radio and seeing her albums in stores.

Mimi, you may be on to something. MC hasn't had too many releases or ceremonies in the month of March. Maybe March is going to be a special anniversary for MC. By the way, I hope she is done with these Vegas shows. Her time there should come to an end this year. I would love a Maxwell and Mimi 20-date tour this summer for their fans. Maxwell and Mimi: For Fans Only Tour.

1992 MC would have done exactly what Carrie did. However, 2013 MC would have asked the inaugural committee member, Senator Amy Klobuchar, to ask the sound technician to fix the problem before she could sing the song. I wish MC would get the same business mindset as Dolly Parton. Dolly will release an album by any means necessary without the mindset of having a hit album. I have seen Dolly release more Cracker Barrel and Wal-Mart exclusives than any other artist during the past 15 years. Finally, Dolly released eight independent label albums between 1991 and 2022.

RL, I love what the bonus tracks added to Music Box. Also, Carrie killed it anyway. This is just a question that I have to ask after watching the inauguration ceremony today. Does anyone else feel Donald Trump Jr. has a good chance of being People's magazine Sexist Man of Alive in 2025? I love to hear him speak at his father's events.

Baby from Dreamville, thank you. I enjoy reading your posts. You don't post most, but I can tell you are a Butterfly baby who was one of the new Lambs who had Honey as a ring tone in 1997. Am I right?

How did you retrieve a MCA post from 2014? Do you keep an online Mariah book? Lol. I have been compiling my paper Mariah book since 2004. Edward said I need a boyfriend. Lol. Just having fun on this boring Saturday night waiting on the snow apocalypse to pass through Texas on Monday night.

Last album (108,006) by Bobby A from United States
You are not alone Randy. I just wonder if Epic was so disappointed with Caution that was reason for the instant grats promotional plan. Some Epic AR executive probably said to L.A. Reid her voice is not there anymore. Let's see what we can do to get the album in the top 10 on the Hot 100 and least one Urban AC radio. Does MC even want to record one last album at this point? She knows here voice can't paint and caress all of the pretty notes and runs any more. Maybe, I am wrong. Maybe [.Paak] is working his Silk Sonic magic with MC in the studio as I write this post.

A little paranoid? Maybe (108,001) by Bobby A from United States
Side Effects tells part of the story. I am sure there is so much more to her paranoia behavior that we may never know. Traumatic experiences have a long lasting effect on individuals that other people just can't begin to comprehend. Believe me I know what I am talking about. Portrait tells the other half of the story.

Last album (107,996) by Bobby A from United States
Randy, your post brought three questions to my mind. First question, when was MC's last tour that she did not use any backing tracks? Was it the Daydream tour or The Butterfly tour? Second question, what would be the repercussions of MC sitting down with Oprah or Gayle King and telling the world about the deterioation of her voice? Third question, could the music industry and network television help MC's career in 2025 by recognizing her accommplishments and career defining moments with some type of television special celebrating MC? Final question, could Jimmy Iovine or Ryan Seacrest help restore MC's career to a Daydream or Butterfly level? Tommy, Benny, and L.A. helped propel MC's career to higher levels. She needs a strong innovative business man in 2025.

My observation (107,979) by Bobby A from United States
Did anyone else noticed last year, we became like family to each other? We showed more love and support to each other than in 2023 and 2022. Maybe it is just me. I read so many celebratory and love posts last year from all of us. Let's keep it going in 2025 to support each other around the world, those in L.A. and of course MC. I listen to Coast To Coast with George Noory at night and it just has me thinking more about what is happening everywhere in our world.

California fires (107,975) by Bobby A from United States
MC sold her Bel Air mansion with Nick in 2015. Her Calabasas chateau has been on and off the market since 2020. I don't know its current status in 2025. Homes in Calabasas have been affected by the Kenneth fire. It is just horrible what has happened to so many people in L.A. My heart goes out to everyone.

Jarring (107,970) by Bobby A from United States
Did you notice that Columbia/Legacy didn't release a CD version like they did Music Box in 2023? To me it says a lot how the AR executives feel about Rainbow compared to Music Box. I would love to have a CD version.

Missing studio pics solved (107,967) by Bobby A from United States
I am trying to be optimistic. If we don't get a new single by June or July, I don't think a new album is coming again this year.

I don't think I Don't is MC's worst video as you are eluding to it being. Imagine 13 videos of I Stay In Love directed by Nick. I hate that video. I have only seen Daisy Duke travels to Las Vegas, but her car breaks down in the desert one time. Lol. I was not impressed with that video treatment. What were MC and Nick thinking?

Missing studio pics solved (107,954) by Bobby A from United States
Shezz, I am starting think that we will not be getting a new album or single this year. I have had that feeling all week because something just seems off with the whole business side of MC's career. MC has not talked much lately about who her manager is or what label she is on. If an artist is under a recording contract, doesn't he or she has to deliver an album within a certain time frame.

It is funny that you mentioned Taylor's retro Polaroids. I have those in a yellow photo sleeve. They were included with the deluxe version of her 1989 album that I found at Goodwill. I have been thinking about selling them on Ebay. Lol. They have to be worth at least $15.00 right now.

Edward, do you really think it's deeper than Poo Bear having a big mouth? I just can't believe MC is just writing songs in her journal and not going into the studio to lay down vocals. Maybe you are right, MC hasn't posted any studio pics because she just hasn't been inspired by anyone or even her own vocal capacities now. I hope everyday that she would post a studio pic in the booth with any producer. I would even a take a JD studio pic at this point. My original post was prompted by watching some studio videos of Robin Thicke finishing up his new album coming out in February or March.

Missing studio pics solved (107,945) by Bobby A from United States
I think that I have figured out why MC doesn't post studio pics anymore. I thought back to the one songwriter who had the most songwriting credits on Caution. This songwriter was talking about their studio time together more than MC. We never knew she was in studio with him until he was talking to the media saying that the two had seven songs in. The person who I am talking about is Poo Bear. I think that he may have upset MC for saying this. Poo Bear was probably a suggestion by L.A. Reid. Their songwriting style and melodies are not similiar to me. His style and melodies are great for Justin Beiber. This makes me remember how Virgin Records suggested to Boy George that he work with Teddy Riley and Gene Griffin. Boy George described his experience with Gene and Teddy as a horrible experience.
