Instead of just saying it's a video she's letting the world think she's a two timing hooker. I don't see how this will turn into a positive for her. That was the first album that hit me lyrically so I never really paid much attention to the whispery vocals. The only time I really paid attention to the vocals is when I heard The One Remix. It doesn't even sound like her on most of the song. Anyway I try not to be so bitter when people talk about my beloved CB and be open minded on their opinions because most people can't understand why I'm not in love with the Butterfly or Music Box albums. Artists (not only Mariah) actually went into the studio and created brand new songs that sounded sometimes better than the original. I just need people to appreciate Underneath the Stars period. That song is magical. Original and remix combined. I agree B that TGIFY remix helped a lot. Clearly he doesn't care about her being in a relationship because he's moved on, but I do think it bothers him that there are different men in his children's lives. Say what you want about his alleged cheating and his many girlfriends, but he's never been pictured with the kids and any other woman besides his mother or grandmother. I like Boy, but it was never single worthy. The One's remix (even though it doesn't sound like Mariah on the remix) alone kills Boy and its ten thousand remixes. If they just had to switch there were better songs on the album that they could have used. Don't know if they were trying to take advantage of how popular Cam'ron and his original Boy song was at that time, but it was a sucky move. Lol. (Saturday 14 January 2017; 3:07)
