And I too think that the song could have done a lot better on the charts if it was promoted nicely and the video was better. I wouldn't want to change anything about the song itself. I chose "Butterfly" because that album is perfection, so poetic and beautiful. B dahlin' even with NDAs in place, you know the mess Stella can create, we'll end up with "sources" said stories like we do now whenever they want to stir some drama. But what's worse is that it's not like Mariah is keeping them around because she is afraid they'll defame her, instead it looks like she actually thinks they are good for her judging by all the joint business ventures they are engaging in. This will end up being another situation similar to what happened when she gave up 50% rights to her songs to Ben and ended up making a lot less than she could, she is signing up for another huge loss. She has said it multiple times and pretty recently she went as far as to acknowledge that Madonna has done a lot and paved the way for many others in the music industry. The only reason Mariah doesn't probably gush over Madonna is because she is still pissed about what Madonna said about Mariah early on in her career. Had that not happened I think Mariah would speak more fondly of Madonna like she does with Whitney. But still, for Mariah to acknowledge someone's existence and go as far as to say that "yes she has done a lot for the music industry" is pretty much equivalent to her writing a love letter to Madonna haha. Look at Stella in the background and Mariah in front. They are almost dressed identically, heck they even have the same iPhone cases In this other photo she's even carrying the same bag that Stella is carrying in the first photo. This photo shoot was maybe for "Paper" magazine, as a representative of the magazine was apparently present at the time. But honestly with Mariah you never know. Like did you know she apparently had a photo shoot for the Lionel tour merchandise and yet they are out there using that darn semi naked Vegas promo photo (the one where she's laying down). But it is always suspicious how she keeps wearing the ring and the diamond necklace he gave her. I mean even if he owed her money and for that she kept the ring, Mariah could have just kept it at home but she's always wearing it like her butterfly ring and this wasn't just a normal gift, it was the darn engagement ring. I was honestly never an Ariana fan, I used to think she's annoying and a lot of other things. Did I listen to her songs? Yes, some of them are good, but I was no fan. But that aside, the way Ariana handled this whole situation, I was blown away. She's so young, yet she pulled off such a beautiful, mature move, especially after a traumatizing event which happened so recently. Yes, her team made it happen, but I'm sure Ariana wanted to do it herself. I'm surprised she pulled together such a nice group of artists to accompany her and raise funds for such a good cause. So Ariana and Team Ariana, hats off to you guys, you all did an incredible thing and although it won't bring back the innocent lives lost, I hope it at least brought some peace, happiness and warmth to the people of Manchester, especially the families affected. As for when Mariah said she talked about dying early with Michael, I think I vaguely remember it, if I'm not confusing it with something else. It's sad really, Mariah still has time to stop and take control of her life. Instead she chose to give control to some Oompa Loompa mess. This reminds me of that interview she did few years back where she talked about how she hated making decision and calling shots and telling people (her employees) what to do.
