My collection (36,185) by TJ from Norway My first album was "Mariah Carey" and the next one was MTV Unplugged. It was with the release of Dreamlover that I startet collecting Mariah's singles and albums. For years I was sad about the fact that I didn't start to buy her singles in 1990. The Vision of Love cover picture was not like the one they released in the States. I remember I was looking at it in Denmark back in 1990, but I didn't buy it. I heard someone say that Triumphant is going to be released in Germany next month. Anyone who knows something about that? I'm in Germany in the end of next month and need a new single in my collection. (Tuesday 28 August 2012; 18:40)

Re: The album or song (36,184) by TJ from Norway My first Mariah moment was Vision of Love on TV in 1990. Been a fan since that moment. My best friend told me that NO ONE would remember Mariah Carey, and that she was a one hit wonder. Lol. She was so wrong. Some other friends told me that Mariah was a man, because she had this huge (7 octaves was the rumor at that time) range. Others told me that she could not sing live, or that she was 3 feet tall and so on. I have been a fan in a world of haters. in 1994 a neighbour was yelling at me because I played Without You on repeat the whole saturday morning (from 8am to 10 am) really loud on my stereo. hehe. She didn't live the house next door, I think it was at least 5 houses and gardens between us. Hehe. I was a "crazy fan" in the 90's. Fortunately I grew up. (Tuesday 28 August 2012; 18:20)

Memoirs (36,133) by TJ from Norway I love that album. Love it. If only Obsessed was removed. I love the remixes of that album and hope that they release it someday. My fav songs: If it's over, Till the end of time and Fantasy My fav live performances: If it's over (SNL), Joy to the world (live at St. John the Devine) and Emotions (Here is Mariah Carey). My fav remixes: Fantasy (Def Club Mix), Dreamlover (Def Club Mix) and Say somethin' (Morales Radio Edit) My fav albums: Music Box, TEOM and Emotions My fav videos: Breakdown, The roof and It's like that My fav high notes: All in your mind, There's got to be a way and Do you know where you're going to BTW: I like the remixes of Triumphant (Sunday 26 August 2012; 10:36)

Stacey (36,113) by TJ from Norway I couldn't agree more. It's like that in her live performances as well. I was watching the good old "Here is Mariah Carey" when she sang Without You. She even carried her own microphone stand on stage. She didn't care if she made facial expressions while singing at that point of her career. She walked (stairs ), sang and was more natural on the stage. Today she is always on these high heals and need help to get around. I do love her music, and I always defend her in discussions with friends, but sometimes it's hard to defend her choice to look like a Barbie doll. (Saturday 25 August 2012; 10:50)

New album (35,997) by TJ from Norway If she's not going to release her music this year, it means that there is still things to do.
