Try to show some love and support for a change (60,368) by Natalia from Italy Isn't this supposed to be a Mariah fan board? Maybe it would be wise to wait until the final product is released, before we all start criticizing. Sometimes this message board is worse then the negative media. I myself would love too see Mariah on a reality type show, going about her daily routine. Of course she is not relatable, she is worth over 1/2 a billion dollars, and is one of the most amazing singers to ever walk this earth. She is royalty, and should be treated as such, which includes at the very least respect from her noble and faithful subjects. (Friday 11 March 2016; 17:10)

While I understand why Stella was angry I believe she shouldn't bother answering at all to these kind of people, and much less give them ammunition to make her look even more negative. These gossip places are not worthy of answers, much less from Mariah's camp. Mariah has been trained by Mottola for how to handle herself publicly in interviews and such, Gloria Stefan, Thalia and all those who were under his wings are always known to be very gracious, attentive to the fans and the press and simply ignore anything negative. There's no denial in Mariah's career there had been times when she wanted to speak up her mind and be more herself with the press but it all eventually falls in that she is adviced to just not do so. Hopefully, Stella's way of handling press won't rub on Mariah and she will keep staying classy for the public eye. She is always very lady like, as worthy of holding a princess title. I like Stella aggressive attitude in regards to get Mariah moving and on the go, but I certainly dislike the way she handles herself publicly. (Friday 11 March 2016; 17:02)

I am grateful to her for everything she has done so far to rebuild Mariah's image and totally understand her need to constantly pop up in Mariah's pics to make sure everyone knows she is the one reviving Mariah's career. Stella no one will ever want to get into your good graces (who cares about your good or bad graces) if you talk like this, let alone hire you as their manager. Fix this big muck-up right now. Plus, it's not nothing new, Mariah has done these kind of things before with her tours just on DVD, so to see the 1 To Infinity show on TV I think it's just great to see Mariah behind the scenes. I've seen her lots of times in person, she's great in person, very loving, caring and very humble and has a wild since of humor. She has nothing to hide, she's very diva-ish but muscular. I am however disappointed by Stella's behaviors, it's a mess. I understand being a strong independent woman and having the right to voice their own opinion but this is not the way to go, It was nasty and childish and she is known as "Mariah's manager" so her behavior reflects on Mariah's brand because really no one really knows (or is interested in) Stella as a separate individual here. The thing is that we will probably get all of what we don't want to see because what we want may be too boring for TV. I'm not going to to act like I don't watch trashy reality shows because I do (every week I'm tuned in lol), but Mariah doesn't need to take that route if she wants to be taken seriously. People already doubt her and want her to fail so they can talk about the bad. I hope she shows the world how and why she is one of the best. I'm also not surprised by Stella's response. The show (60,360) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I have said this before but I want to make a list. What I want to see in the show: 1) Mariah addressing real life issues, bad press about her voice, the Rockefeller incident, what went wrong during the recording of MIAM, what are her tentative future plans (professional) and so on. 2) Her rehearsals, her rituals before a show, what happens backstage before she goes on stage, during breaks and after the show. 3) A few selected scenes of her with Dembabies. Nothing too invasive. 4) Her writing new music, trying out sounds in the studio with her engineer and hopefully some recording sessions. Basically the real singer-songwriter-producer side of Mariah. What I don't want to see: 1) Too much drama, random ramblings about things the general public won't understand. And it's important because it's a docu-series made for the masses not just the true lambs. It's not a "DVD special". 2) The Bulochnikov kids' opinion on Mariah. 3) Too much of her squad. Unprofessional activity (60,359) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The Page Six article about Mariah's team supposedly not being happy about the reality show has been updated. If you scroll down to the new additional paragraph, you see Stella has finally responded to the article and all I can say is it is unprofessional at best. I get it that maybe the whole "her team is not happy" may be made up but so is a lot of things. What was going through Stella's mind when she made that remark? She is Mariah's manager and represents Mariah's team. She has to choose her words carefully even if the article is negative about her. Mariah has hundreds of bad articles written about her on a daily basis, we don't see her resorting to "f-words" and calling people "idiots". Mariah Carey is not a C-grade celebrity that her team thinks it's fine to behave so unprofessionally and it won't affect her brand. I know Mariah is probably not as involved in her business at the moment since she has finally found peace in her personal life and her priorities have changed but she should take note of what her team is putting out there. Stella could have chosen to not respond or respond in a more professional manner, letting her thoughts be known but in a mature manner. The article isn't even that negative. I don't get it. Stella no one really has to get "in your good graces" you are not the star here, it's Mariah. Please fix yourself and know who you are representing. (Friday 11 March 2016; 13:14)

Reality show: The Miss Education Of Mimi (60,358) by Lamb_O_Chop from Australia I'm gonna go on the opposing end (against most on here) and say this could actually be a great idea. I'm not mad at the name "Mariah Squad" either, I think it sounds light hearted, fun, and like "I'm not taking myself too serious with this". As all the true fans/lambs know, Mariah is greatly misunderstood by the general public, our girl always gets a bad rep whether she's wrong or right in whatever situation. I honestly think people just expect MC to be a doormat and allow herself to be walked over, slighted, and unacknowledged. Anyway my thoughts are what better way for people to get real insight to who Mariah truly is: the mother, best friend, mentor, musical genius etc, than to welcome the general public to a few days in her life. Now grant it this is considering that the angle is to show all her true dimensions as a person and capture real candid moments. It could work wonders for her career and help her connect with a younger generation, hell or just a wider audience in general. I'm not on the " at Stella" bandwagon either, well at least until I give her a fair chance to show what she can do for Mariah's career, so far she's doing a great job in my humble opinion, the women may actually be what the doctor ordered. What if "Mariah's Squad" actually means that it will revolves on the Bulochnikovs. That title is just so petty for Mariah, like "squad" is only applicable for Taylor Swift. Mariah does not have squad at least as far as I know, I don't think she has an inner circle of friends that is not business related. Whenever I see a paparazzi photos of her, that family are the only ones that's in her side. Brett Ratner is the only one I know that Mariah is really close with on a deep personal level. If that "docu-series" will push through, I'm really hoping that it will not be another lost opportunity because this is the best platform for her to be loved by the public again, I'm afraid that it will cause her more hate and criticisms. I really hate Stella now (but I hope it will change if that show will turns out to be great and beneficial for Mariah), because it is turning out that she wants that spotlight, I can't even deal with it, she is Mariah "freaking" Carey, she deserves the best. Just be yourself Mariah, just be vocal if you have voice issues, show your rehearsals and show everyone that you are involve in everything that you do. I'm not buying that "Mariah is very funny on camera" because I don't want her to be just funny and laughable, I want her to be genuine so that people will take her seriously too. She'll also be in control of what will be shown on TV. It's a calculated move, she's doing as much as she can while she has the looks. Air a reality show, get new fans and new followers. Squad a difference a day makes (60,353) by Andrew from UK The reality tv show quagmire, given that I want Mariah to get back to her "day job", instantly made me think of two things: 1. the QVC embarrassment/cheapening of a global star, and 2. the business woman on her tour bus holding up her hand authoritatively insisting, "I can't be seen to endorse anything." It will either be a hot mess or something genuinely stylish, and, hopefully, further, it could be crafted as an informative piece of entertainment which will make her relevant to new/lost markets. Whitney's "Bobby" she is not. My love is deep enough to be assured of that. My Aussie friend, who is coming with me to party at London's O2 Arena (MSG eat dust), happens to have just completed filming a so-called reality-tv scissor-reel to be sold to US and UK networks, and the finished product is so crafted that I was left speechless by the end product. "Reality-tv" and "Squad" is alarming in Mariah's case. I postulate it will change before it goes out. But, if Mariah and her team have a stylish product to put out then this may be fantastic. Mariah may be able to relate to new/lost markets as to how professional/legendary/relevant she is and show, in a positive light, how her team relate to her on the road (they'll have to insult at some point but that makes for great television and is not necessarily negative). This could, potentially, be [censored] awesome. It depends where her head is, and I, for one, am excited (and, in equal measures. apprehensive) to see it. I hope it will be a product designed to portray her as a relatable, global superstar. My main-stay now is this: if Mariah is moving into finding new markets in which to sell new music, I'm for it. And I cross my fingers in support. Mariah has lost, to me, these markets: straight guys, youth, some non-black (please your Lord, it's my opinion and not racist, but factual, let's admit it and not throw labels around) and she specifically needs these demographics to sell. TEOM went global because the music, marketing and promotion brought everybody into the fold. If this is a precursor to doing that again, sign me up. (Friday 11 March 2016; 2:07)

Mariah squad (60,352) by ksquarred from paris Maybe it could be nice if the show is focused on the people working for Mariah and all the work they have to do for her, like you'd see a reality tv on a presidential candidate for example. And we'd only see Mariah on stage, or being prepped but with very rare candid moments and very well selected. So that each time she appears on the screen, she'd be the real star we'd been waiting for the whole episode. What I liked about the E=MC2 era for example is how everything was perfectly thought of, every entrance was grand and every tv appearance spot on, it's like she was the queen of England, or running for state. Like in the Say Something video. Since then I've missed that. Mariah doesn't need to be approachable, we have enough celebrities like that, and most people won't identify with her anyway because she's never natural in front of a camera (or in general maybe). She needs to be grand Mariah, bling and all. I think that's what people would tune in to see. She's one of the last ''classic'' stars and should pull a Garbo 2.1. (Friday 11 March 2016; 0:58)

She may as well have her kids adopted by Mariah, considering how much time she spend photographing them with her (plus the odd other celebrity, that Will Ferrell one ). Whilst she has helped to boost Mariah's image with the public, I hope that this "Mariah's Squad" title is just like "MC3", and it will actually be changed last minute by Mariah. I also hope it won't be another thing like "Lollipop Bling", where Mariah says that she had no idea that's what they were calling that line, or the cover art for YDKWTD. We've heard rumours/whispers about a potential behind the scenes for her Vegas shows, so let's see what happens next. As long as Mariah has zero control over the angle/lighting thing, and just let's them film her naturally, then it should be ok. But hey, it's ok to dream lol. (Friday 11 March 2016; 0:20)

Reality not so reality (60,347) by May from Denmark I've just read that the "reality" is not going to be a typical one like others where you see the celebrity sat down at a cafe talking random stuff of the day with a family member and such. It said it's going to be more like a documentary, where Mariah will be filmed having her "squad" following her and making sure she is presentable for the events she goes to, it's like a backstage type of thing, we will get to see how Mariah prepares herself for the stage and gatherings. It's been said that Mariah had camera crewmen at Elton John's bash and that she was the only person with entourage, so they are very likely already filming it. Forget PhD's and college education, who needs that when you can be a reality TV star and make bank like the Jenner sisters. With Stella at the helm of it all, this is the end of Mariah Carey.
