Mariah's song "[...]" was added last minute, at a time when her and [...] was [sic] starting (or at least publicly) to fall apart. Didn't she say the album was about things going on in her life? Hardest song (54,723) by Tevin from USA Even though vocally some of Mariah's songs like [...] and [...] and [...] are harder. I would say for live vocals VOL is the hardest. Even though she has given many amazing performances, that is the only song that for some reason to me she could never reproduce singing live and sounding as powerful and haunting if you will as the CD version. Even with the growls during her debut and [...] era and the extra runs she added to the song during the [...] era, nothing beats poping in that tape or CD or vinyl or iPod and listening to that song. Does anyone agree with me, or am I the only one that feel that way? As for the top 5 lyrical songs: 5. Butterfly 4. Petals 3. Melt away (if any women could sing this to me and sound the way Mariah did, I would be on my knees proposing marriage) 2. LTT simple yet pure and honest. 1. The roof If you could see bliss that's what that song and video could be. The song draws you in and makes you feel like you are apart of everything that's going on. Even if you can only understand Mariah through half of the song lol. Got to love the breathy vocals. (Friday 19 June 2015; 7:59)

If I'm right (sarcasm) Mariah started that during Daydream with Fantasy and she wanted to do it before but Tommy sad no. Plus she didn't meet Jay Z until 1998 or 1999. When he was then a barley known rapper, and they collaborated on Heartbreaker. Well at least the haters cant say she lip shync, because I [...] you can get bronchitis from miming and only singing a few words. Now I see why Mariah doesn't sing her old hits all the time, it's really [...] on her voice especally now that she is older and her cords won't recover as fast as when she was young. Unplugged version (53,177) by Tevin from USA If the rumors are correct about Mariah performing Emotions at the BBMA we should flood her Twitter, Facebook, message boards like this one, instagram, asking her to do the unplugged intro to it like she did during the Chanteuse tour. That will shut every hater up about her not being able to sing anymore, and it will show everyone in the audience (looking at you Katy Perry) that no one can sing like Mariah. Negativity (53,078) by Tevin from USA With all the negative comments and certain people on her lately, I can't believe I'm saying this but I rather read the TMZ or Wendy Willams comment sections, they seem to be more positive about Mariah than some people on this board. You might not like everything, like I hate that pink dress but don't beat the woman up when she is trying to please everyone. I'm so grateful to be able to hear LTT song by her even if it's only 98% live. Mariah has sacraficed her most precious gift for us. her voice. It's still good but imagine if she would have left the game when she was on top, she still will have her 96, 97 voice, but she toild away and song for us her fans. At the end of the day we will still have her cds and videos, but she will have her voice and what's left of its past glory, so be thankful she is willing to still try to shine for each one of us. Marrisa (52,653) by Tevin from USA Actually I think her problems started during Daydream not Butterfly, because her voice even though powerful and her belt even though was amazing her voice was really thin and light. And she did not have that richness and power that she had her earlier years. I think her best vocal era was the end of Music Box into Merry Christmas era. 1994/1995 was to me was at it's peak because she could belt and have the techniques down like during Daydream, but she still had that thick richness and power to her voice. Listen to the difference between undubbed Madison Square Garden's vs undubbed Tokyo Dome. In Tokyo her skill and belting was better, the voice sounded not as rich and full. (Friday 1 May 2015; 7:26)
