Badly enunciated verses (78,554) by 90sMariah from SG
I was listening to Heat earlier and it reminded me of how badly she enunciates the lyrics to the song. I can't figure out what she's singing about. Even now I still don't know what the hell she's singing in the first verse without looking up the lyrics.

Re: Just found (78,551) (78,553) by Licia from USA
I've never listened to Petals a day in my life. I seriously don't even know what that song sounds like. I believe after I listened to Did I Do That (I hate that song) I said "F*ck this album." And I stopped listening. So I never got to listen to Petals. If TGIFY had not been a single I might not have ever heard it. Did I Do That prevented me from going any further with the Rainbow album experience. Lol.

Re: Forgotten jams (78,550) (78,552) by Bill from the UK
Breakdown is brilliant, I agree about it being a blueprint for a perfect collab. Like Mariah, I wish it could have been a single in the US and Europe so it had its day in the sun, but hey ho. Another MC endorsement was for that war game thing she did.

I really like this version of Petals.

Re: Forgotten jams (78,524) (78,550) by Licia from USA
This happened to me a few months ago. Mine was Breakdown. I never fully appreciated Breakdown until it popped up on my playlist out the blue. Compared to some of her recent hip hop collaborations, in my opinion Breakdown is the blueprint for how you do a hip hop collaboration right. It came together seamlessly. Everything just fit.

There's Beacon dates? She supposedly moved the show to Vegas.

That Butterfly drink was horrible. Lol I don't think I saw that nail polish on the list. Don't forget the endorsement for those social media sites (match.com anyone), the dog leash or pet daycare, and the million dollar lifestyle stuff they are peddling on her website. I actually think the make up, perfume, and nail polish were good ideas. The Mac collection came out exceptionally well. Besides her music, as long as they make the perfume I'm buying. I fully support the smell good items. Lol.

Re: Bodak Yellow (78,544) (78,547) by Licia from USA
I'm actually proud of Cardi. She used the Love and Hip Hop platform to her advantage. That's a boss move. Instead of running around yelling she's the Dominican Princess like the Puerto Rician Princess Jocelyn and getting nowhere, she got herself on the radio like she planned.

Re: EMC stripped versions of MC songs (78,514) (78,546) by Lee from UK
A stipped version of One Sweet Day was recently posted without all of the backing vocals and it actually sounds more current. I am noticing more runs from both Mariah and Wanya which I never heard previously due them being drowned out. Their voices work so well together.

Where can I find? (78,545) by Edouard from France
The video from Hip Hop Honors? I can't seem to find the Honey remix video in full. Please help.

Bodak Yellow (78,544) by RibbonB from USA
Congrats to Cardi B for taking over the Billboard number one with Bodak Yellow. She took "I don't know her" to a whole new level of petty.

Other things Mariah did for money? Hmm toughy. Going to have to go with "Marry Tommy". Closely followed by "Divorce Tommy".

Agreed. I'd add MIAMTEC to the list. It is an excellent fall album.

Fancy by Iggy was the last rap song by a female to hit #1 on the Hot 100.

Eric, shame on you. Mariah is going to correct all that with her new reality show and her new line of shoes called "Stellatos".

Re: Beacon (78,526) (78,535) by Edward from USA
I agree. I've been to her shows at The Beacon Theater, and it felt like the Charmbracelet tour, intimate. The venue in Las Vegas would definitely bring her more money. She's clearly after money now, I don't understand the desperation though. I know making an album wouldn't really bring her any money because she's not popular like that anymore, but I always thought of Mariah as an artist with integrity, not a sell out. Before we would have time to miss her, now she's everywhere and in everything as if she didn't have a dime. If she at least carried Hershel differently, but I'm always hoping not to see her singing "Shake If Off" while working out on high heels on the treadmill. How could you go from being a supreme icon to this? I've often wondered.

How could I forget the two highlights of Mariah's career: American Idol and Mariah's World.

That awful diabetes inducing Butterfly drink she was flogging at Walgreens too.

Since Lauryn Hill (78,532) by Terna from Nigeria
Cardi B just dethroned Taylor Swift. This is a big deal. The last female rapper to sit on the Billboard Hot 100 was Lauryn Hill in 1998. Damn. Social media is on fire right now. Lol.

The money was the first thing I thought, but I didn't want to be the bad guy and say it. I'm trying to be a better lamb. Lol.

Re: Beacon (78,529) (78,530) by Sheila from United States
I forgot about the dictator concerts, but if you google it, it comes up in the news. Does she really need this money? She's worth 500 million.
