Memoirs now onto Rainbox vinyl (91,241) by Bobby A from United States I will have the Memoirs vinyl in my hands after Thanksgiving. I will have a DJ copy of Glitter vinyl this week in the mail. So now I am in search of the Rainbow vinyl. Is there anyone who would be willing to sell their copy or help me locate a copy? I am curious how Bliss will sound on my new Audio Technica turntable and vintage Sanyo speakers. Bliss has to be the best song Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis wrote with MC besides Yours. We have never received that arrangement since the St. John the Divine. Overall, I think the whole 2 CD collection is a joy to have right now after 25 years. (Sunday 3 November 2019; 23:36)

The version sold in MC's online store is the same version you can find in your local retailer. The online store was like the hook to draw you into the Deluxe Anniversary being released. It doesn't say it on the packaging, but both songs from MC and MCIIY have been remastered. You can really tell it on disc 1. The sound is incredible. Sugar Plum Fairy shows why MC is one of the greatest female vocalist ever. I think there is a hidden track on disc 1 after Jesus Oh What A Wonderful Child. Anybody else notice the second insert with AIWFCIY's chart accomplishments? It is like MC knows this is the year she is going to get her 19th number one Hot 100 song. Do you know that a St .John the Divine live version of Hero is included on a new AIWFCIY CD single sold at Mariah Carey.com for 2.98? It has 4 tracks on the CD. This will make my fourth item that I have purchased since she announced the Deluxe Anniversary Edition on her website. Something tells me a DVD of the concert is coming soon. My Mariah Carey year - 1995 (91,203) by Bobby A from United States My Mariah Carey year was 1995. I had already been a fan since 1990. I was a young a gay man living in a major city in the Bible Belt. I lived and breathed Mariah during her first four albums. At that time, I was amazed at the songs she was writing and singing. Then I heard Fantasy on the radio and was like this woman can really write some great songs. My life was crazy that year in 1995 and Daydream got me through some tough times in my life. One Sweet Day was just so beautiful to hear on the radio back then. I had a bad roommate who had a beautiful voice. He sang Always Be My Baby all the time and said it was a great song. ABMB was just awesome to hear everywhere. Nobody was writing like Mariah back then except Babyface. What is your Mariah Carey year? (Thursday 31 October 2019; 01:28)

Caution vinyl (91,199) by Bobby A from United States I found the Caution vinyl that was released in December at Barnes and Nobles on birthday last Friday. I was really reading the lyrics on the album jacket and found the editor incorrectly lists the wrong songwriters for Stay Long Love You and Giving Me Life. Has anybody else noticed that? Oh, well beautiful think album jacket with some really cool pretty inserts and MC photos. The sound on this vinyl is unbelievable crystal clear. Now, I just need Me I Am Mariah on vinyl. Positivity begins next Friday (91,133) by Bobby A from United States Can you believe next Friday Merry Christmas will be released as a 2CD set? If you can't wait like me for your CD to arrive in the mail, you can purchase at FYE, Target, Wal-Mart, Moving Trading Company, CD Warehouse, Barnes and Nobles and Walgreens. I checked with them all last week. FYE has their Mix and Burn kiosk where you can create your own CD. I am going to create a CD just with the St. John Divine live tracks and add in the live South Central Holy Night track from MCIIY. And I am just hoping that a vinyl set will be released too. I said that I would get it next payday and that I am the only Mariah Carey fan in Nashville. Boy, I was so wrong. I went back two weeks later and it was gone along with a $25 vinyl copy of the first pressing of Mariah Carey. Are you willing to make me a CD copy of the Memoirs vinyl for a price you choose? Well, I called my local CD Warehouse store and asked the store manager to order me a copy that will arrive before November 1st. CD Warehouse stores order directly from the retail music distributors. Caution and Butterfly albums (90,999) by Bobby A from United States I spent all weekend listening to Caution hoping it receives some Grammy nominations next month. With You and Caution the album deserves recognition because I can really appreciate MC's hard work on this album now. I was disappointed last year that the album was not promoted by Epic as much as it should have been. With You should have been a top ten Hot 100 hit. Overall, Caution is up there with Daydream and Butterfly in my books. By the way, I bought my Butterfly picture disc last weekend at a second hand used book and CD store called 2nd and Charles in an Atlanta suburb called Marietta. There were 3 copies in the bin for $32.95. I was surprised that they had even one. I am going back this week and I am going to ask the manager how did they come to have it. I am pleased with my copy.
