Re: Grammys 2020 (87,991) (87,998) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Mariah's album "Caution" did not make it in time before cut off and therefore is eligible for consideration next year. GTFO was released in time and was ignored. Hopefully A No No will receive some commercial success and if it does, who knows what could happen next. Incidentally, I was at a boystown bar here in Chicago and they played GTFO. You know I was smiling huge.

Re: Caution the title track (87,990) (87,997) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I love "Caution" and I also think it has more "hit potential" than "A no no".

Caution will be nominated for Best R&B Album however she'll most likely be snubbed again by the Academy.

I think Caution, Giving Me Life, and 8th Grade should be singles.

Jennifer Lopez (87,994) by Sheila from United States
Since when do the Grammy's allow lip-singing? Cardi? Jennifer? Jennifer is pure smoke and mirrors - great Janet jackson wannabe performer. She's vocally cringe worthy. The American public took an actress with no music ability and turned her into a world class performer with still no vocal ability. She's acting.

Re: Jennifer Lopez's management / Grammys (87,992) (87,993) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
In fairness to J.Lo, she has quite the impact on the Latin community. She was the first one to really reach the level of superstardom that she has and is still arguably the most powerful celebrity of Latin descent in the world. She is revered by many despite her "jack of all trades but master of none" image. Especially at a time where immigrant rights are still a hot button topic, her success story is representative of that and is one to aspire towards. She has had better management than Mariah for a decade now, but she does deserve to be in that monologue just as much as everyone on that stage.

Jennifer Lopez's management / Grammys (87,992) by Malcolm from Asia
Who else thinks that JLo just has a great and big management to back her up with these huge gigs that she's getting? I mean I don't think she's deserving to be included in that monologue with Michelle Obama and the others because all she does in her career was just mediocre to me and she doesn't have a huge impact to people, and that Motown tribute?

Grammys 2020 (87,991) by Malcolm from Asia
Caution is such a great solid R&B album for it to be not nominated so I think Mariah will have a big chance of winning next year. Rihanna, The Weeknd and Childish Gambino will probably release a new album this year so let's just see how it will all turn out.

Caution the title track (87,990) by Lainsky from Philippines
Instead of "A No No", I wish Mariah releases the title track "Caution" in which she normally does ever since. I believe it is truly a very good single both for radio and fans. It has a potential to be a hit too IMHO. Puhleeeaaazzzzeeee MC.

I think her best album was her second album. Her new album is underwhelming.

Robert-Anthony (87,986) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Robert-Anthony I can appreciate your love for Ariana’s new album but you cannot compare an artist who has done damn near everything Ariana has done but on a bigger level. Mariah is now 15 albums with almost three decades under her belt and with Daydream and Butterfly she defined her artistry and with TEOM she redefined her artistry and legacy once again. With Caution she proved that even with working with current producers and other co-writers that Mariah sound still belongs to her and even when others imitate her artistry no one can do it better. Personally everyone needs to allow AG who is already in the studio beginning work on her next album to develop and grow as an artist, as well as build her own merits and legacy that will one day define her.

Can (87,985) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Can Mariah just be Mariah without everyone trying to place their own expectations on her? She does not need to follow any formula as she is the formula many aspire to be. She should work with artists and producers who allow her to be creative and that she is comfortable with. She had to fight many years to become the legend she is today. On another note Ariana is five albums in and has yet to match the brilliance of any of MC’s first 5 albums in anyway, shape, or form so can some of stop the comparisons. I am sure it has become annoying to Ariana as well. Allow her to build her own artistry just like MC had to. Lastly Caution still bangs allow it to stand on its own merits.

Re: Caution World Tour (87,977) (87,984) by Licia from USA
You just made me nervous because I'm the second stop in Houston. I totally forgot about how not good the first couple of shows can be. I was just so excited she was coming. I'm going to make the best out of it either way.

Wow. You really got lucky, Bill. My cassette tape and pink Caution vinyl was packed in the same box too. If you listen closely to the Caution track on cassette, you can hear those extra ad libs on the left speaker more.

Re: A No No ft Cardi, Lil Kim and Elliott (87,964) (87,982) by george golden from uk
Forget about ANN, what about the other masterpieces that should have been released? 8th Grade, GML and Caution? She is always releasing the wrong singles. WY never should have been a single. I knew she was going to abandon this album as soon as it didn't sell well. Just a waste.

Caution (87,981) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
I actually haven't bought Caution until now. So pleased to get it in the mail, and I can finally listen to the album the old way. But I am a bit disappointed that the pictures in the booklet are so underwhelming, I thought there would be more fun pictures.
But, the music is the important thing, and I'm listening to Caution right now.

Thank You, Next album (87,979) by Bobby A from United States
Ariana Grande's Thank You, Next is her best album so far of her career. This is a summer driving in the city with the top down type of album. The album reminds me of what Good Girl Gone Bad did for Rhianna's career. Caution could have been that for MC if she had taken more risks with her producer choices.

Caution cassette (87,978) by Bill from the UK
So my Caution cassette finally arrived today. This was all I ordered from the site, but my box contained the pink vinyl with the M cover, which I never ordered or paid for, as well as some lithographs. If this was a mistake, I lucked out, and is a nice payback for waiting a hundred years for it to arrive.

Caution World Tour (87,977) by Bobby A from United States
I hope MC performs at least 8 songs from Caution and the other 8 songs from her vast catalogue. She just owes Lambs more than 3 songs from Caution. February 27 Dallas show is approaching fast. The Dallas venue is a new concert hall that opened last year and is located in Irving, Texas. It will be my first time there. Typically, her first show is never her best. We will see on February 27th.

Re: A No No ft Cardi, Lil Kim and Elliott (87,964) (87,976) by jaker20 from US
This song won't go anywhere if we get an album version. Let's be real, radio don't play her anymore and she really isn't cool anymore with the young kids. The only way this song will get noticed is a collab. I can do without Elliott to be honest though. But yeah she needs to up her art to get this song out there, because it's a great great song. But honestly I am not sure Mariah knows how to promote the album.

Re: The real Mariah (87,972) (87,975) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Agree. Nobody can force such great melodies. It was her just like the other genre as well. I think Mariah has her unique mark on every song, no matter if it's pure RNB, Soul, Gospel or Pop. That's one thing (among many others) I love about her.

Jewels memoirs (87,974) by Dove from United States
I read Jewel's book a few months back (Never Broken: Songs Are Only Half the Story) and I remember thinking as I was reading it that I really hope Mariah's book is similar. It feels authentic and has stories about her life that most people didn't know and talks about the songs and how they relate to her life. Sometimes we interpret a song a certain way (as it relates to us) but it meant something completely different to the person who wrote it. I recommend it, it's a good read if you like these sorts of books. I do.
