Dave Grohl recently commented on Mariah Carey's widely-reported New Year's Eve lipsync mishap, agreeing it was quite "punk rock". During an appearance on Jonesy's Jukebox with bandmates Taylor Hawkins and Pat Smear, the Foo Fighters frontman noted (via Alternative Nation): "Mariah Carey man, she did not care what anybody thought about that song."
Hawkins chimed in: "That's punk rock! 'I'm not even going to sing!'" Dave added: "'Ever felt like you've been cheated? You've been cheated!' That's what she should have said, and dropped the mic."
