She's just returned to her headlining residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. So Mariah Carey wanted to celebrate, taking to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes snaps with her fans, whom she calls her "lambily". In one shot the 45-year-old made her way onstage in a shimmery, black gown by Sharbel Azar for La Bourjoisie, captioned with the hashtags: "Showtime #1 To Infinity Caesars."
Mariah, who returned to her Las Vegas residency on Thursday, could be seen lounging on a large, circular golden bed in one Instagram photo. She showed off a big smile as she relaxed on the decadent piece of furniture, surrounded by coordinating throw pillows. She sported a bright pink halterneck dress with shimmery embellishments, and wore her long, sleek blonde tresses in a center part and styled straight.
A whole team of people could be seen fawning over the star in the picture, likely to prepare her for an upcoming number, which she simply captioned "touch my body", after her 2008 hit. The mother-of-two also showed off a breathtaking silver gown with a plunging front that put her ample assets on display. The glittering number was accessorized with a dazzling diamond necklace and coordinating earrings.
Mariah could be seen holding a golden microphone in this photo, as she flashed a smile, showing off bright pink lipstick while someone could be seen fixing her hair from off-camera. "Hectic backstage moments," the hitmaker wrote alongside the picture, which was likely taken before she made her way onstage.

Mariah also showed off a few angles of her show-stopping gown from La Bourjoisie, which featured sheer panels down the front and along her right leg. The figure-hugging, sleeveless black dress cinched in to show off Mariah's trim waist, and was coupled with a pair of peep toe black heels. For this look, the Grammy winner wore her blonde locks styled in voluminous curls that cascaded past her shoulders.
Mariah captioned the shot of her dress: "Thank you for the gown darling I love it. Pow big kiss Sharbel Azar for La Bourjoisie." And earlier that day the We Belong Together singer had shown off a striking gold gown as she stood in her dressing room. "Dripping in gold," the star gushed, before thanking designer Antoine Salame and La Bourjoisie for their creation.
Mariah has returned to her Las Vegas residency, which she is set to continue with select dates through February, with more shows in June, August, and September.
