She's been making the most of the summer sun in recent months, after having gone on an extended holiday in Europe with her new boyfriend James Packer. But Mariah Carey made it strictly family time only as she stepped out on Malibu beach on Wednesday with her adorable twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The 45-year-old singing superstar cut an unusually casual figure as she walked across the beach with her two little ones, who splashed about in the water.
Her mid-week jaunt, however, saw her take an uncharacteristically laid-back take on beach wear, as she opted for a simple pair of skintight black trousers and a white shirt. Not to rest on her style laurels, though, she did offer a glimpse of her very ample cleavage with the buttons undone to her chest.

She cut an incredibly relaxed figure as she walked barefoot up the sand - the bottom of her leggings damp from the sea after wading in - with her long curly tresses tied back into a simple, utilitarian style. It wasn't clear if the Hero hitmaker was wearing make-up for her casual afternoon with her children, but she covered her face with a pair of statement oversized black shades.
The star's four-year-old twins - daughter Monroe and son Moroccan - looked to be having the time of their lives as they played in the shallow water and on the sand. Moroccan showed off his love of superheroes as he wore a pair of Superman-printed beach shorts, and Monroe looked sweet in a pink polka dot swimsuit.

As well as playing with her kids in the waves, Mariah spent time taking a well-earned rest further up the beach, reclining under the sun. The busy singer is taking some time off and is devoting herself to parenting duties now that she has finished the second leg of her Las Vegas residency, called #1 to Infinity. The show, which features her greatest hits, kicked off in May and closed in July, before resuming again in February 2016.
