Mariah Carey flashes her butterfly tattoo
Back when Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were the hottest of celebrity couples, both spouses got tattoos with the other's name. Now, however, the 45-year-old singer appears to have left her 34-year-old ex's name behind while keeping her ink intact. That lower-back butterfly tattoo was visible on Sunday in Paris, France when Mariah stepped out with her four-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
Close-up images of the pink-and-orange butterfly showed the insect's body composed of twisted black lines. But back when Mariah first got the tattoo, the name "Nick Cannon" was written out in black ink to create that same body. At some point since her marriage went south, Mariah must have gotten an update to the basic design.
She would not be alone in this - in March, Nick confirmed to TMZ that he had spent 30 hours getting an elaborate crucifixion-themed tattoo on his back to hide Mariah's name. Married in 2008, Mariah and Nick separated in 2014.
Mariah kept things casual on her Paris visit, wearing a low-cut black shirt with matching, tight trousers that emphasized the Visions Of Love singer's curves. Open-toed black heels, black-rimmed sunglasses, and silver hoop earrings completed Mariah's look.
The twins stuck to similarly casual looks, with Moroccan sporting a navy shirt and khaki trousers and Monroe opting for a white blouse with jeans. In New York City as recently as the day before, Mariah's laid-back appearance may have been a necessary recovery from travel and jet-lag. (Mail Online)
