I discovered Selena by chance. They played the Techno Cumbia video and I fell in love with that song. Once I saw the movie and heard the soundtrack I was hooked. I love the live cumbia medley she did at the the astrodome in Houston (where I'm from). Although I only know a few songs she made a huge impact on me. You can't deny her talent. Can you suggest some other songs? I know Bidi Bidi Bum Ba, Amor Prohibido, La Cacarcha, Techno Cumbia, Baila Esta Cumbia, Dreaming Of You, and I Can Fall In Love. She's gotten to a point now where she won't even try. Like you said she's a singer who won't sing (that aggravates the hell out of me). So when opportunities like this come up and she at least attempts to do what she's known for despite her not wanting to, I appreciate her effort. I still don't see why she's rushing. Anyway, if there is a hold up on her divorce I don't think it's about money. I really think it's about the kids and how much time he gets to be with them. If that's the case then he should continue to fight for equal time. Disclaimer: This is my opinion. She's always so stunning to me in that color and she always seems to pick the right style or type of red dress. I need to see the other ones on her before I can comment. It doesn't matter that it seems to be the same situation that she was supposedly in with Nick. His billionaire status gives him a pass. I agree that Mariah didn't have anything to do with Brenda being dropped. I remember when I Still Believe came out and that's the only song I know from Brenda to be honest. I totally understand how Mariah feels and she has every right to feel this way. I'm not asking for her to make Jennifer her bff. I just want them both to be adults and end it. Stop taking jabs at each other and stop giving the media more ammunition to pit them against each other. That one line could have ended this whole mess, but she went on to say some unnecessary extra crap and threw in more shade. I got what she meant to say, but the non fans only heard the extra crap and the shade. That's not handling it with class and composure. That's adding more fuel to the fire and giving people who already dislike you more reason to dislike you. The same can be said for Jennifer. Instead of saying Mariah was forgetful she could have said something totally different to keep down the confusion, but she decided to be petty that day. Although I get what she was trying to say on WWHL, it didn't go over well with the general public and it did not deaden the situation. Everything that Shezz said is true. Mariah is looking worse and worse everyday and will continue to be the villian if she does not handle the situation better. Either find a way to explain it and end it once and for all or require that interviewers not ask about it. None of us are taking J. Lo's side. We all know why this all started. At this point neither of these close to 50 year old women are victims and honestly both of them need to let this go. This never should have grown into the monster that it has become. She should have other ways to take care of herself and her family. I just don't give a crap about any of it (besides the perfume, I love those) and instead of me sitting and complaining about it I just won't support what I'm not interested in. She's known for music and that's what I want from her. I definitely get the point of why she's doing all this extra stuff and I don't have an issue with it, but there are plenty of other artists who do all of the things she's doing yet they still put out not only music, but quality music.
