She broke out on the scene in 1990 and has been booked solid ever since. We have a right to express criticisms, but sometimes some here don't give a fair look to the other side of the coin. What I believe she's doing is keeping "career longevity" which she desires and has talked about. That's what matters, and she's doing it. She's an Elvis, a Michael Jackson, a Madonna, a Cher. I don't think Memoirs was bad, it just wasn't commercially viable. Mariah has a lot of control over her music and God bless that.
