My Saving Grace, Fly Like A Bird, and Heavenly are the songs that have me in tears everytime I listen. My Saving Grace came out during a time when I really needed it. The words hit me hard. This was the first song by Mariah that finally spoke to me and I could finally really relate. In my mind I believe Mariah made the CB album just for me lol. When I first heard FLAB I wasn't going through anything, but again the words just got me. That Grammy performance of FLAB will always be a favorite of mine. Heavenly just motivates me. I also love the remix. They utilized the Goodbye Love sample by Guy to the fullest and it came out great imo. Whatever they decide to do for the Empire soundtrack I just hope it's a good song. Esther Dean kind of caters to the younger audience, but Rodney is versatile and I think can help cater to all audiences (maybe lol). (Sunday 18 September 2016; 1:39)

I know for a fact Britney and Janet got a lot of flack for it. They've all had their moments where they went beyond sexy and were straight trashy. They also got called out alot for doing so. So no I don't believe Mariah is being held to a different standard. She's being treated no different than the other ladies when they went through their oversexed kitten stage. I was bummed when they shelved the album because the remixes that I heard were awesome. I'm probably the only fan who will never get tired of the JD/Mariah combo. They are like Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to me. They just fit together. Lol I agree JD knows how to turn a slow jam/ballad to a great uptempo. (Thursday 15 September 2016; 10:34)

Real fan nonsense (66,269) by Licia from USA If being a so called real fan means I can't talk about Mariah when she does crap I don't understand or like then I guess I'm not one. Mind you I've been around since day one and I've dang near supported everything I could since then, but I guess that doesn't count according to some of you. I won't stop criticizing what I see wrong and when she deserves praise I have no problem giving it. I can agree that sometimes the criticism goes too far and can sometimes be unreasonable. I can also agree that sometimes I'm guilty of saying not so nice things that I probably could word better, but whatever I say is never meant to come from a hateful place. If saying Mariah is better than the stunts she's pulling and is making poor choices is hateful then I suggest you go look at what nonfans and the media say about her. That's some hateful mess. According to them she's a has been, photoshop junky, skank, drunk, poor excuse for a mother, and desperate. That's not even the worst stuff they say. (Wednesday 14 September 2016; 14:27)

Those moments when she gets the sexy factor right she looks amazing, but there are moments where she tries to force it and it doesn't always translate into sexy. There are plenty of women her age and older who exude sexiness and they do so without walking around in public in their underwear, posting ass shots or posting bathtub shots for attention. They even manage to show the twins without looking trashy. Sexy is not my problem. Making yourself look like a $2 hooker on purpose is my issue. (Monday 12 September 2016; 5:53)
