About MusicfanJ from Germany: I'm a fan of Mariah since Daydream came out.

Alone in love (73,664) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I love how Mariah gets praised for this song on YouTube. I didn't know that she wrote this magical song with only 15. What Mariah did musically on her debut and Emotions is out of this world. This is something Celine Dion and other female artists will never come close to. Also Celine is great, I have a best of which I like a lot. But no comparison to Miss Mariah Carey. Sometimes I think she was so young when she "delivered" such classy masterpieces that in some way it's impossible to outgo herself and even to hold the standard that she set for herself on so many levels for a long time.

Re: "One Sweet Day (Chucky's Remix)" (73,442) (73,662) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I'm again in love with this song. Thanks for mentioning the remix. I only knew the a capella version. This music and the way Mariah was singing it (like an angel) made me a fan forever. I wonder if she really knows how many hearts she has had touched back in the day. As someone said before, almost everybody loved the "American sweetheart". Not only fans. I'm gonna listen to it on repeat, perfect for daydreaming at those strange times.

Lol right the black leather jacket and black hair is always seen somewhere. It's almost a joke.

I thought the same with the Sweetheart video. So beautiful. This looks like Mariah Carey. The kids are adorable too.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey wrecks Dubai bellydancer's show (73,512) (73,513) by MusicfanJ from Germany
All those things are a nightmare. I could laugh non-stop if it wasn't so sad. What must happen that Mariah wakes up? I'm on a point where I have no words for it. I mean what's next? Never saw such unprofessional people who are managing a global super star.

Re: Can I say something? (73,486) (73,494) by MusicfanJ from Germany
They truly present what a lot of wealthy people think, that they can do what they want with no respect to others. And even if everybody was a little crazy at the teenage time, this is a behavior which shouldn't be tolerate. The world has enough dummies with no good behavior. Parents should educate children to be nice and respectful persons no matter how rich and "famous" they are. I hope Roc and Roe won't get inluenced by all the actions. Kids just do what they know and see.

Re: Stella and Miskha (73,473) (73,492) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Unbelievable if this is true. I feel sorry for the belly dancer. How awkward for every educated human being. Again I can't stand Stella and her daughter isn't any better. She's a stupid teen and a fame-hungry wannabe. Since they are on Mariah's "side" everything gets worst. Never thought Mariah would hang out with such people and allow them what they're doing. Nick should talk to his ex-wife and mother of his children if he cares at least a little bit. Real friends seems not left since the "poison-gang" is celebrating their moments in the spotlight.

Re: Jazz album / Lana Del Rey (73,467) (73,470) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yes, I totally agree with you. I would love a jazz influenced album. She could create magic again with a jazzy tune. When I was a teen I really loved her hip-hop collaborations and still love the classics like the remixes but I think it's time to do something new. The rapper on "I don't" is so boring for example. I bet Mariah could also have a great comeback and reinvention with a jazz album. People with good music taste still exist. Lol. And they buy cd's and albums.

Lovely new instagram pic (73,446) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I just love this new pic. Mariah with Roc and Roe look so sweet. Monroe looks like a mini MC. And I love Mariah's casual urban style. She looks so young and good with it. Please more of that.

Re: Mariah Carey covers album (73,422) (73,429) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Great idea. I would love a cover and duet album. I choose "You and I". This song is one of my all time favorites and we all know how much she loves Stevie Wonder. Her deeper voice in the live-version is so sexy and wonderful.

Re: Attacking Andrew (73,397) (73,405) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I also understand what Andrew means with bizarre. I just wish she would never have done anything. Mariah was perfect without "Hollywood made tuning". I hope she stops with whatever was done or tried out. If I look at old pics her beauty is breathtaking.

Re: This eye popping selfie (73,385) (73,403) by MusicfanJ from Germany
That's true, Mariah was never completely confident (even when she looked like a top-model/goddess) because of rude comments in her childhood and who knows how it feels to get in the public eye with 20. Anyway I always loved the natural Mariah and still do. Nothing is more sad then a woman who needs to cover up her beauty with masks and strange clothes. And of course everybody has good and bad days but again Mariah should be more relaxed, she's beautiful.

Re: "No one wants albums anymore." Wrong, girl (73,362) (73,374) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It makes me sad that for Mariah the money seems more important than the music nowadays. I prefer albums not singles. A real piece of art not mainstream singles for teens. They can go listen to Rihanna and Tyler and co. Look at Ed Sheeran, this young man has another hit-album. He traveled a year around the world without camera and made a fresh new album with his talent. It is possible to sell without selling your soul to the business. A real artist shouldn't sell only products and only release singles. It's better to take a time out from the circus and find inspiration again. But as long as Crustella and her ridiculous "team" will be around I haven't left much hope for changes. Crustella should play "Money makes the world go around" from Cabaret for the next idea/interview.

Re: Where is Mariah? (73,268) (73,286) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yes I also wonder where Mariah is. Last night I even dreamed about her. It was a weird dream, in that dream Mariah released a double-album with songs in the style of the Lady Gaga "Fame" album, but the beat was even rougher and the songs had explicit lyrics. Lol. I miss the "old" Mariah too. And with old I mean the classy, sweet and funny Mariah who cares for herself and doesn't need to do fake stunts and whatever.

Re: Mariah and Stella in a relationship? (73,264) (73,285) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Best joke i've ever heard. I wouldn't have a problem if Mariah dates a woman, if it's love everything is fine for me. But Crustella doesn't seem like a lovable person. Lol I have to agree with you that I also don't understand why Stella must hang around 24/7.

Re: Mariah looks great lately - new stylist? (73,208) (73,233) by MusicfanJ from Germany
No you're not the only one. I didn't like it at all. I mean the dress would be nice if the breasts would be covered "normal" and not so squeezed. It looks uncomfortable. I prefer the old fashion style with class.

Re: Questions for the Webmaster (73,095) (73,104) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Fantasy and Daydream did the same with me. It was magical. The voice could make you "daydream". To discover all her other songs was also great. I thought: Every song is a masterpiece sung by an angel called Mariah. What a wonderful time/era. I will never forget it.

Haha Stella the vampire bat. That's hilarious. That explains a lot.

Re: Nose (73,064) (73,079) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I don't know I hope she did not. I hate plastic surgery. But I noticed something different too. Could it be make-up, lights? Anyway I think the answer from Barbra Streisand is brilliant. A singer is not a model, and the voice should be the most important thing. I find it so refreshing if in this superficial business a musician gets noticed without being fake and trashy.

Re: Stella's new IG pic (72,984) (72,985) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It's hard to find words for it. This teen girl seems to operate with her mother very well. I can imagine Stella says: "Just give Mariah a drink and celebrate being eternally 12." Honestly I'm so fed up with her team, entourage aka the Buchlochnikovs. Mariah wake up, you shouldn't spend time with toxic people not for business and not in private life. It's not funny anymore.

Re: Current era (72,881) (72,891) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yeah Mariah loves diamonds. She should cover "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" from her idol Marylin Monroe. Honestly I remember that she always fiddled with the ring from her first marriage. That one was big too. And a lot of interviewers asked her about the ring from Tommy and the "Cinderella story". She always hated the Cinderella image. We will see how long she'll wear this monster of a ring. Lol.

Re: The Grammys foiled me (72,835) (72,854) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Why should Mariah say something about Adele? It's just because it's not the music Mariah is listening to. I'm pretty sure it's nothing against Adele as a musician. The same with Celine Dion. Mariah likes Celine but not the music.

Re: The Grammys foiled me (72,832) (72,853) by MusicfanJ from Germany
You're right, it was so mean with the camera back then. I always thought Mariah never got over the Grammy fiasco in 96. I can only imagine how she must have felt. She was on the top of her career, working so hard since her debut and broke almost every record. A young Mariah who got foiled by the jury. That she won for TEOM and no Grammy for Daydream is not understandable. But I agree it is a little bit strange that now she is talking about this topic again. Old wounds.

Re: How is it boring when she's always done this? (72,777) (72,783) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Completely agree. I always found it refreshing that Mariah wasn't dancing like a Britney Spears or Janet Jackson. For Britney it made sense, she was never a vocalist. Anyway I understand what some of you mean with "boring". If she works on her voice and gives a performance with a song that comes from her heart I'm sure nobody will find it boring. Great singers don't need dancing and a show. It's a bonus if they offer this entertainment while singing. I only wish Mariah wouldn't be so nervous. She needs her confidence back.

Mariah and Fresh Air Fund (72,760) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I just love this funny and sweet interview with Rosie O'Donnell back in 96 or early 97. Does anybody know if the "Fresh Air Fund" is still there? Mariah and Jack at the end of the video makes me laugh every time. So adorable.
