About Licia from USA: I think I'm Mariah's oldest fan lol.

Re: Vision of love, on JK (72,765) (72,768) by Licia from USA
She did really good on VOL. I loved it. She stood still yet it wasn't boring. Job well done vocally on both songs. I'm with Marissa. These performances need to go viral and she needs to get booked on some daytime shows. The world needs to see the good.

Re: VOL (72,764) (72,767) by Licia from USA
I did not like her standing still, but I still gave her props on her singing (which she did really well). That ultimately overrode anything else that was going on.

Re: Trouble at Jimmy (72,741) (72,746) by Licia from USA
I can't believe people are still mad and are still talking about the NYE performance. It's almost March. It happened. It's over with. You'd have to be a certified psycho to do all that over a performance.

I Don't live (72,742) by Licia from USA
The only negative from this performance was it was a little boring. I'm not sure whether it was the minimal movement or the song itself that bored me. Other than that she sounded good and she looked good. She gave me vocals which was what I mostly wanted.

Re: Glitter or current era - worst of all time (72,657) (72,662) by Licia from USA
Exactly B. She was everywhere in the beginning of the Glitter era. She did not slow down until she ended up in the hospital. I too am perplexed as to how she was ever lazy during that time.

Re: Glitter or current era - worst of all time (72,649) (72,654) by Licia from USA
Glitter era could never be as bad as this era. She was at least promoting and actually singing in the Glitter era until the exhaustion/breakdown moment. I give her a pass for Glitter because she was in a bad situation and she needed a time out. I'll never ever hold that moment in her life against her. This era gets no passes. There's no excuse for alot of what's been happening.

Re: Kimmel (72,627) (72,639) by Licia from USA
Since Kimmel will be In a more controlled environment, hopefully the performance will go on with minimal problems. Hoping she will actually sing. I'd love to see an I Don't parody.

Re: Rihanna's diamond encrusted flask (72,626) (72,630) by Licia from USA
I agree Mimi L. Mistakes happen and no they shouldn't be happening to a huge company like DCP, but I doubt they are purposely going out of their way to have technical difficulties and ruin artists. I highly doubt they tried to sabotage Mariah. That's bad for business.

Re: Beyoncé (72,625) (72,628) by Licia from USA
I actually don't think Lemonade or 25 should have won. Neither album did anything for me, but I do respect them both as artists and I appreciate Adele for showing Beyonce love. Not a huge fan of either, but I do like a few of their songs.

Re: Mariah doing George Michael tribute / Grammys (72,586) (72,588) by Licia from USA
The difference in the Glitter era and now is that the Glitter team didn't accuse a major network and company of trying to sabotage her career. Yeah there was a rumor that everyone thought Tommy was doing it, but he's one man compared to a huge company. I agree with Eric. There's a chance she just simply wasn't invited. We really don't want to believe that, but it's a huge possibility. It would have been a nice surprise for her to be a part of both Prince and George's tributes, but I knew not to expect it.

Re: Mariah isn't hard to love, lambs are iffy (72,533) (72,540) by Licia from USA
Lambs aren't iffy. Some of us just know she's more than capable of producing better material than she has been. Alot of the songs on MIAM prove that.

Re: Possible blessing in disguise (72,531) (72,539) by Licia from USA
This is something we've all said. It's a great opportunity for both Mariah and Lionel. Hopefully her and her team can handle this situation like professionals. Mariah won't be the only artist affected if her team screws up.

Re: "The Roof" video (72,525) (72,537) by Licia from USA
I have to say I enjoy the video more than the actual song.

Re: Stella shot down allegations (72,424) (72,425) by Licia from USA
Me too. Even though he's disclosed things that he should not have when they were married he's been respectful to Mariah as the mother of his children and I don't want to believe he'll go after her, but I think he'll give Stella the business if she says anything against him.

Re: Stella shot down allegations (72,417) (72,420) by Licia from USA
I'm wondering how they will deal with what Nick said. Will he be a jealous broke ex husband who's mad because he can't have Mariah back? I'm sure Stella has alot intelligent things to say about him like she did TM. She's such a high class scholar when she addresses the press about other people. I'm anxiously awaiting her response. Lol.

Re: "Lilie's Blues" (72,395) (72,401) by Licia from USA
I love this song. I'd love to hear Mariah sing it, but Valarie Pettiford (actress who played the mom) did a great job bringing the song to life.

Nick talking about the fake boyfriend (72,400) by Licia from USA
Nick is going to get beat up for telling the truth about what we already know. Lol. He needs to speak out more when it comes to the kids. If they had no kids together or he wasn't active in their life I wouldn't feel that he has any right to say anything, but since his children are involved he has a right to speak on it. He always says he doesn't question her decisions, but clearly this bothers him. *shrugs*

Re: Stella shot down allegations (72,387) (72,398) by Licia from USA
Funny how she denies that he's asking for more money and there's no season two yet, but she didn't really deny that he was just brought in as a fake love interest. That'd be the first thing I would deny.

Re: Morgan (72,365) (72,370) by Licia from USA
I'm more concerned with what happened to make him turn on her. The change of feelings for his sister was so abrupt. They were really close (according to Mariah) at one point. One minute she was doing tweet advertisements for him and then the next minute he's selling her out. I have four sisters and I'd like to karate chop all of them in the neck every once in awhile over alot of things, but there's nothing that would make me do or say any of the things that he has against Mariah.

Re: "I Don't" understand it (72,338) (72,347) by Licia from USA
I could see her and Future. I agree about Lil Wayne. I can't see or hear him on any Mariah track and I'm a fan of his. Drake would be good as well. I agree with Edward on her bringing in a rapper who very well known instead of people who she thinks she's helping. At this point it would be the other way around.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey's bad weekend record sales (72,322) (72,339) by Licia from USA
To do all this manufacturing and it not really do anything to help put her back on top is what disgusts me. Yeah you're always in a headline and you have more messy followers, but that's not propelling you any further upwards. Your stock is going way down. It's making you look even more bad than you already looked in the general public's eyes. All these interviews and articles talking about the burning of that stupid dress and where is I Don't sitting at on the charts?

Re: Article: Mariah Carey's bad weekend record sales (72,301) (72,305) by Licia from USA
I couldn't agree more with what you and Ribbon have said. I just hope they will eventually see that all the made up dramatics aren't helping sooner rather than later.

Re: Mariah Superbowl - setllist (like Diana Ross) (72,256) (72,263) by Licia from USA
Lol I'm sure the general public knew all the setlist with the exception of the songs from her last albums. I don't know where she gets her info from. Smh lol.

Re: Mariah Carey Superbowl (72,255) (72,262) by Licia from USA
Singing the Star Spangled Banner is way different than doing a haltime performance. Even when Mariah was at her very best I don't think a halftime show would be a great fit for her. Besides Mariah there are alot of artists that I could never imagine doing a halftime show.

Re: Jeezy and Mariah are fire (72,229) (72,250) by Licia from USA
Yeah the Hermosa video was nice. It was fun and sexy, but not awkwardly sexy like the original. When she doesn't try so hard everything falls into place. I bet that remix video was everything. Lol.
