No new album in 2024 (105,848) by T from USA I'm hearing that there indeed will be no new album this year. MC16 is nowhere near completion and she doesn't have a label either. For fans that loved MIAMTEC I'm sure when something finally comes it will be in the vein of that album that took time to release (2011-2014). And less like Caution that was all done in a matter of months. Jay Z and Roc Nation lined up ten different producers and Mariah just banged out Caution in record time. MC16 will be more of a personal work that has sit with her for years before release. The question will be if any of the Butterfly Lounge ideas will make it on. The Yes And remix was recorded to hold fans over until Christmas which will be a big 30th anniversary later this year. Hopefully there will be one more song release this year as well, but it doesn't look like it. (Sunday 3 March 2024; 13:51)

Will Daydream ever get its respect? (105,930) by Alexis Carrington-Colby from United States I absolutely hope there is no Merry Christmas 30. She has beat that horse to death. What will she be doing for Daydream30? It's clear, and she has alluded to it, that the Daydream era is bittersweet for her. However it's also her commercial peak. She seems to run from anything Daydream. There is so much she can do to commemorate it: recreate the tour merch, release the full artwork photoshoot (we've never seen it), release tour rehearsal footage, release an acapella of the album version of Fantasy, do an in depth interview about the album. Tis the season for something... (103,780) by Shezz from Pk Mariah has a Spotify taping with fans in LA in early November. She is also rumored to make a big announcement before her Christmas tour starts and have a big collaboration coming up. Could the fabled "Themed Album" be another Christmas album? Whereas a third Christmas album would be crazy even for Mariah, it also could be her safest album venture. Mariah is smart and knows her albums don't sell anymore but she also knows that she holds special magical powers during the holiday season. It's a long shot but maybe she's recorded another holiday album with a lot of collaborations? Either way - something is a'brewing. (Tuesday 17 October 2023; 15:25)

It’s A Wrap 12" (103,742) by Jamie from UK Is a 12" release really necessary or wanted? I get it was popular on TikTok but it's not like it broke the charts. I find Mariah fixates on something these days even when the moment has passed it desperate need for it to be popular. I wish she would fixate on getting herself back to a calm and controlled person again rather than being erratic and not being able to just have a conversation. (Saturday 14 October 2023; 09:22)

Torn (103,764) by Alexis Carrington-Colby from United States Wow, I haven't posted here in years. I see some familiar faces still live here. Is anyone else torn on whether or not to go see Mariah in this upcoming run of shows? On the one hand, I want to see her because I've been a lamb for 25 years. With so many stars dying, there is always a scary thought of what if this is your last chance in the back on my head. On the other hand, her performances are just awful and maddening these days. Those shows last year had me so upset and sad for her. I also hate how she waits until October to publicize the shows. Why not tell us in July or August so that people can get their coins and travel set ahead of time? It's inconsiderate considering that the shows are in the midst of 2 holidays. I had to ask myself could I justify paying up to $1,000 for a front row seat (I'm too old of a lamb to sit in the back) just to hear her sing flat, and lipsynch the same old songs in the same old arrangement? Yet... a part of me still longs to go just for the merch and the chance to be seen by her. (Monday 16 October 2023; 05:18)
