When the greatest ones are gone the record companies only have money on their mind. The should release it next year and all the other fan favorites. I wonder as well why Tommy or Columbia didn't release the concert long time ago. The same with the unreleased material. The lambily are waiting. By the way Licia, I heard AIWFCIY yesterday while shopping, on the Christmas market and later on the radio. I hope you got spared from it. Haha. Re: 3rd Christmas album (79,936) (79,937) by MusicfanJ from Germany Good point Marissa. I think the same way. And there are three albums if you add the "AIWFCIY" album for the animated movie. I'm happy with MC and MC2. Both are perfect for the most wonderful time of the year. She's already the queen of Christmas so I'd prefer a new "regular" album. (Sunday 17 December 2017; 14:19)

Read it today in an article very positive about Mariah's streaming record after 24 years. I wonder if she can break her own record this year and get even more streaming clicks on the Christmas days. Honestly she's a living icon, no matter what others think about her. What fascinates me mostly, is that she became that icon at a very young age. That's rare. Go Mariah and keep shining. I'm so glad, that we got a happy end this year. I mean who knew just two months ago, that the needed change of her team will happen soon. And it's good that no one around her seems to look like a freaking circus clown anymore. If I think of the bizarre pics from I don't want to say the name (like in the Harry Potter movie). Her sold out concerts in Paris and London, the Globe nomination and of course the ultimate Christmas song on the charts, that's what I call festive. Article: Mariah Carey - Daydream (79,763) by MusicfanJ from Germany This article is excellent. Every word is well-written. Mariah was setting a high with Daydream which is so unique in every way. After all the records and combining rnb, pop and hip-hop we got Butterfly a next masterpiece and fan favorite. "Looking in" is still overwhelming. The same with "I am free" and "Melt away". And "Fantasy" with "One sweet day" made me a fan for life. (Sunday 10 December 2017; 16:55)

Mariah's hommage for Jonny Hallyday (79,762) by MusicfanJ from Germany What I love about Mariah she always gives tribute to the real musicians. Last year I cried when she sang "When you believe" in concert, now I see this and she gets me again. There's no female singer in the whole world who makes me feel so emotional. I watched some clips from her concert yesterday in Paris. Just wow, she looked and sounded wonderful. I think she sounded better than in NY, maybe she feels better now, I mean she was still recovering at the first two shows at the Beacon. (Sunday 10 December 2017; 14:07)

Anyway I just checked Mariah's instagram and the pics with her kids are lovely as always. She reminded me of the 99 MC, she looks fresh and beautiful. I wish the French lambs and everybody who will be in Paris tonight a great show and a wonderful time. To see her live is really the best. (Saturday 9 December 2017; 10:51)

Back at the day where she hoped for "some success". I love her speaking voice so much. At the end she said: Thank you darlings. Now we have 2017 and wish her the best. For me she was always a soul-rnb singer and when she came out, wasn't there this article which said: Another white girl trying to sing black? That's so dumb. I mean I can imagine it was never easy to please everybody especially the music biz people at the beginning of her career. I think everyone is sometimes pigeonholed from others but at the end those people doesn't count. I love Mariah for who she is and it's phenomenal that she sounds so good in every music genre. Re: "Charmbracelet" anniversary (79,627) (79,642) by MusicfanJ from Germany I would also like to hear the "Yours" version with JT. But I remember the same thing like Licia said. At that time, Justin didn't want to release/promote the song as a featuring guest because Mariah seemed not so "hip" after the Glitter thing. Oh "little" Justin was so wrong with this decision, not nice from him. So I understand while Mariah ruled the charts with TEOM again, she didn't feel the need to release the version. Charmbracelet will always be a special album for me. The often mentioned lyrics are pure Mariah, they are so poetic. "Lullaby", "Yours", "I only wanted", "Clown" and "Bringin' on the heartbreak" are my favorites. And I love the message of "Trough the rain". (Monday 4 December 2017; 20:32)

Charity ball / new pics (79,601) by MusicfanJ from Germany I agree with all of you, Mariah looks stunning in the new pics. I've watched a video from the charity ball and I'm so happy to see Mariah back like this. She sounded wonderful and she showed her unique beautiful smile and she even gave this girl an autograph on her arm, how cool is that? I have to repeat myself I'm so happy that she's "back" again. The Mariah most of us fell in love with. Good times are coming. I hope there will be a few clips from her concert in NY, for those who can not attend. (Friday 1 December 2017; 19:30)

Re: Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas on Netflix (79,585) (79,587) by MusicfanJ from Germany Hi Matty, a friend showed me this special on Netflix just two weeks ago. It was like an early gift for me. She looked unreal (like a beautiful angel) and she had fun performing for the audience. While watching, it almost felt like MC's in my living room. The band was also excellent, and Trey Lorenz was as always "rocking" the stage. Merriest Christmas should be released on a DVD. Tomorrow I'll get the "AIWFCIY" movie. Definitely iconic. The version at Disneyland is also very enjoyable. Mariah behind the "Cinderella castle", she looks herself like a princess and sounded so good. I still love it too and the video (so much fun watching it, when she writes on the snowy car). I love Christmas time and Mariah makes it extra festive with her music.
