First night back in Vegas (76,993) by Licia from USA I just watched a few of the performances. Although she sounds better than she did in Baku it was still rough, but I'm cutting her some slack because it was the first night and she has shown in previous shows that the more she performs the better her vocals get. Who knows how that era would have turned out if Mariah had been fully committed to it. Quite honestly everyone involved dropped the ball from the record company on down to Mariah. JD just got the biggest backlash and Mariah never defended him in the way she defends Stella. I believe he really wanted to help her, but he got a lot of push back from Mariah. I'm just glad they managed to remain friends even though it seems they took a break away from each other. We lambs tend to blame everyone around her when things don't go right (I'm guilty of doing it in the past, but I'm better now lol). It's a never ending cycle. Lol. (Sunday 9 July 2017; 02:40)

Instead of the record companies trying to pit them against each other in the beginning they should have capitalized on all that talent. It's not so far fetched considering she already has the wrong person managing her career. Furthermore I really don't care what she does with her money because neither you nor I know for sure what her finances are. We all just commented on an article. It's become sort of a expectation for her to be in NY. I'm more concerned with how she's going to be able to handle the last Vegas shows and the tour vocally. I didn't realize that they were so close together. In my opinion three days isn't enough time to prepare. Maybe that was enough back in the day, but not now. (Thursday 6 July 2017; 16:27)

The Beautiful Ones is my stuff though (shame on you Mimi L. for not loving the greatness, j/k) . I had faith that Mariah would do it justice, but I didn't know how the song would be with more than one person singing it. I was surprised at how well it came out. I absolutely love Dru Hill, but I was going to banish them and Mariah from the kingdom had they messed up one of my favorite Prince songs. I'm still angry at that mess Maroon 5 pulled recording Kiss. When she actually sang her part of the song she sounded really good and that was the only part of the performance I liked. I have to admit I giggled when she started whistling. Maybe back in the day her side deals were creative outlets or whatever, but not now. Call it what it is. She's stacking her money because the music industry doesn't pay like it used to and before she completely stops making music she's looking for a for sure money maker. That's all it is.
